Did you read about that new tax bill approved by Congress? First thing you hear before that is that law that allows cabel companies to charge you extra for using certain sites and now you gotta tax every transaction with crypto if you live in the USA.

There are a few things that governments will always try to do, and one of them is raise taxes.  If you make money from trading any commodity then you should be paying tax on that income, it's only fair to all the other people earning a living in other ways.  Of course when you make the money with crypto is the point you should be paying tax, and that is when you cash out.  And that then gets difficult with the nature of the borderless system.

It's certainly an interesting time to live and see what the law makers come up with.

Most of the country doesn't impose tax yet to bitcoin...
But some are trying to study how the can put tax if you used bitcoin to buy a tangeble  products....

I hope that in the near future countries won’t pass laws on taxes on cryptotrading. But with the prosperity of this industry there’ll be more media and government attention to it and then some countries will perhaps begin to impose taxes or even laws prohibiting the crypto trade.

I guess governments just found another opportunity to tax something, but in other hand it is indeed income so why shouldn't be taxed at all? In my opinion it should be free of taxes everywhere, otherwise it couldn't be truly decentralized. Its not easy question and as every hard problem should be discussed by many specialists from different disciplines together. According to wiki there are 7 countries that cryptocurrencies are banned in, and I found out there are at least 5 that are free of taxes
