I think this is an unnecessary hype by xrp, perhaps it's to make it more broader.

But to me, i believe with bitcoin, we have already fixed inter Country payment mode.

With coinbase, coinmama, kraken and a host of other exchanges, bitcoin buy/sell in Mexico is within everyone's grasps

For a platform to be valuable or relevant it needs to constantly offer something which everyone needs, I think this is the case of XRP, the project keeps looking for partners which will aid their growth in different sectors. In my own opinion, I think breaking down the walls of restrictions which will give rise to cross border payments is a good one and if successful will attract more value to XRP while also opening up the potential of crypto to many people. XRP just keep looking for ways to remain relevant and it is really helping the course of action of the platform.

Restrictions and sanctions would always promote crypto use and crypto are difficult to stop. US has always used IMF and US Dollar to control over the world and many countries are working with crypto to break away from it's influence. Venezuela tried, Iran has been successfully trading with Europe with crypto and Russian startups are getting funds from US investors, thanks to crypto.

Relations between the United States and Mexico are strained at the moment and the Trump administration is mostly to blame. With many Mexican citizens living in the States, there is a clear niche available for a company like Ripple to fill.

Ripple is breaking down walls for cross border payments to Mexico and here is how: https://thecoinshark.net/en/ripple-is-breaking-down-walls-for-cross-border-payments-to-mexico/

What do you think of Ripples' efforts to break down walls for cross border payments to Mexico?
