Bitcoin dropped quickly and steadily over the course of the weekend and their wasn’t any much mystery to it. The reason is what many might speculate about, giving various insights and relativism to certain situations. Where the dots connects with the Chinese AI and the Americans is what I don’t get very much.
How do these two come into play as they are completely diverse fields and don’t work interchangeably either.

I don't think AInhas anything to do with Bitcoin.
It's mostly the trade war going on again thanks to Trump. China can retaliate badly by hitting Microsoft, Google and Intel. Also big car manufacturers have been getting their materials like Steel and batteries from China. So the American industry could suffer too.
And if trump also puts tariffs on Europe, he limits the alternatives the US can have for imports while the EU might actually end up making more trade with China instead. So it's a lose lose for America. In the end BTC and crypto is tied to th US economy so they will correlate st least for the short term.

There is nothing wrong if someone invests for the short term. But we've proven it ourselves that the best way to profit on this market is through long-term investing. However, if someone is able to make it short term and they're making profit from it, there's no problem with that because that's how they do it with the market. And as for these AI competitions, they're moving the markets as well because big countries are reacting to each other. Politics is too complicated and they have a lot to offer and to talk to but what's better is if we stay on our lane and focus with our holdings and mostly with BTC.

You only lost a lot if you bought BTC at $100k or more. To be honest, i've bought BTC at $3k and haven't sold at $100k as i believe it will go much much higher.
So as you said, buy the dip, grind through and profit in the end
The last week drop was a market reaction to the tarrif news from Trump accompanied by massive sell along I think, if you have lots of altcoins then you will probably feel the impact especially ETH, eth went below 2500 last weekand still haven't find it way back in 3k

That was 2 weeks ago it did had impact on Bitcoin(not that much) and other altcoins..

I don't know what bitcoin has to do with the rivalry between DeepSeek and the American AI, maybe you need to add more information to this post or reference so we can learn about the connections. Sincerely, I don't believe this is the reason for the correction in the market because corrections is something that happen market. Furthermore, if you are losing so much in the market, it shows it is time for you to adopt a new approach which is changing from trading to holding or moving from short term holding to long term holding. This will make you enjoy more peace of mind and more profits in the future.
