...//:::

I mentioned it to you in that same thread, that idea existed in the Star poker casino back in the first decade of this 21st century, they even implemented it for their "intellipoker" forum, when completing daily tasks they assigned you these Scatch Offs.

It is something that had its moment of glory in the last century, and that still exists in advertising campaigns.

I think that extending your original post to this one makes no sense, even if you want to take it to a real idea, you can raise it on the project board, the script I guess is not a big deal, just adapt it to your taste.

How can you describe the fairness system and random algorithms that will apply to these games?

I think the virtual version of scratch card games doesn't have much interest because more people tend to play instead of the usual online slot games as in the end, the winning chance and probability aren't that much different and payouts in slots are more appealing, especially with features like scatters and free spins that can be triggered while playing the game, unlike a simple scratch on cards.

I have used Scratch off games on crypto casinos many times in past and I can say from my experience that those games are not fun at all. I find crash games much more enjoyable than those scratch off games,  they have no element of fun for me.

I even find dice more entertaining than those games, I'm not sure about other preference but for me those type of games are literally a waste of time. Offline scratch offs are still somewhat enjoyable even if you don't win but online ones aren't much entertaining.

I was going through all the replies and most of them were not in favor of scratch off games. I think such games lack the excitement a gambler wants to experience which won't be possible if you are scratching a card. Gamblers go for those games that create a surrounding of uncertainty with good visuals and background sound. I think they are similar to lottery tickets and that is one game that did not do well in its online version. I also believe that it is not that worthy to dedicate a resources in building a casino based on VSO that might not even get users.

Since I started talking about scratch off cards  yesterday I had this idea about a virtual crypto scratch off card and wondered if anyone has done something like that? They could be called like VSOs or something for "Virtual Scratch Offs"

There’s a lot of scratch off version already existing especially on slot game providers like hacksaw and other that already have a scratch off version for their slots games.

Duelbits also offer an original scratch card games that gives a profit bonus on your 10 wins. They are offering this promotional in daily basis and it has a limited claim per day. I think other casino have this kind of game version too. Maybe you should explore more casino by using the search function since all scratch off games will appear if you will use scratch as keyword on the search bar of the casino.

Virtual crypto scratch-off cards or VSOs would add a cool twist to online casinos. Replicating real odds digitally might be tricky but could be done with the right tech. Customization options could make it more appealing. As for online crypto gambling casinos, there are quite a few out there but it would take some digging to find one with virtual scratch-offs. Overall it's a neat idea that could bring some excitement to online gaming

It seems like it would be an interesting development idea if it could be implemented in an online casino, but for now we can get various conveniences and all of them can provide satisfactory comfort.
Developments like this may be well received and allow for resistance or sentiment that is not very positive from the perspective of the gamblers assessment.
I myself, whatever it is if it is useful and can provide convenience and comfort for gamblers, then I will definitely support it.

There are lot of online casinos that are doing well and have really earned good reputation for their service and all the features they have with the latest games, but I really don't see any truly profitable use of virtual scratch ticket games.
Besides, I not gambler who really likes games like this and maybe the existence of this thread can make more gamblers try it or start to like it.

It's not a popular thing anyway besides the game providers that @iv4n have mentioned, there's probably not a lot of them let alone one that's popular, if it's a popular gambling game, we'd probably see people talk about it but no, it seems that it's not the case. Maybe you can do something about it and try to make it a great game, build a website that's focused on that and do your advertising so more people would reach your game and would check it out.

Who knows, you might be the person that would popularize the idea of virtual scratch offs, only problem is that you need to know how to make it a fair one because you do know that you can easily cheat players in giving rigged scratch off cards since it's online.

You probably missed my post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63815279

This is an image from Betfury, but you can find Scratch games in any casino with third-party providers... BGaming, Hacksaw, Playtech, Microgaming, Pragmatic, EvoPlay, and many other providers have scratch games. I can't say I play them often, but I tried many in the past years. As I said I never had any big wins, maybe that's why I don't play them often... sometimes when I get bored of slots and other games and I happen to see the scratch game I will open it and buy a few or more tickets.

I think that would be such a fun idea to incorporate in an online casino, have a section where you take a real world good like a scatch off card,
and you make it a digital version that you can buy ones for like $1 worth of BTC or like ones for $2 etc etc.

Would people like to play that? How hard would it be to replicate those odds in a virtual environment? What kinds of limitations or possibilities are there here?
