It seems bumibida ngayon ang The Sandbox ($SAND), isang sandbox game wherein players can build, own, and monetize their virtual experiences.
Previously, si Snoop Dogg ang pinaka-unang rapper na nakipag-collaborate with the game, building his own metaverse called SnoopVerse.
Then just recently, a big company enters the game, Warner Music Group. They are keen on purchasing a property within the Sandbox Metaverse wherein they plan to host virtual concerts and events.

The Philippines itself has numerous music companies too namely GMA Music, Galaxy Records, Ivory Music and Video (previously known as Sony Music Philippines). Do you guys think they would also consider entering the metaverse?
During the pandemic and even up until now, the music industry is having a hard time organizing live concerts due to pandemic restrictions.
Panahon na ba for these local companies to seek out the Metaverse? Would you consider watching a live metaverse concert?

Sa tingin ko hindi yan tatangkilin ng mga pinoy kasi masyado silang close minded when it comes to cryptocurrency, mas naniniwala pa nga sila sa "1K mo gawin nating 100K sa loob lang ng 7 days" kind of scheme. Saka lang siguro tatangkilin kung marami ng gumagamit nito, which for me is good for playing the safe zone but too late kasi nga medyo huli na sa trend, like sa axie infinity.

Very possible konting tweak na lang naman sa environment eh pwede ng matawag na metaverse ung isang marketplace or online environment.

A metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection.[1][2][3] In futurism and science fiction, it is often described as a hypothetical iteration of the Internet as a single, universal virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual and augmented reality headsets.[4][1]

As far as I know, marami na ring artists na nagkaconduct ng concert online, konting tweak na lang at pwede na nila itong platform or apps para maging metaverse para sa mga fans nila to interact virtually.  And ang mga artist is always looking for ways and platform para mashowcase nila ang kanilang arts/skills especially the music industry.

Panahon na ba for these local companies to seek out the Metaverse? Would you consider watching a live metaverse concert?

Mayroon ng online concert dito and iyong iba successful (like iyong kay Alden). I think our local own won't seek yet to intergrate any Metaverse related thing "sa ngayon". Magsisimula yan sa isang celebrity then it will trigger the idea sa mga local companies.

I know some local artists are already into NFT arts and P2E gaming kaya andun pa din yung possibility na sumunod naman ang music.
I remember way back when Spotify is still isn't a thing, na ultimo mga major international artists wouldn't even go near that app, pero look at them now, most are already on that platform. Raking millions in sales.
If Warner Music makes big bucks out of their metaverse ventures, news about it will then easily spread for sure big companies will eventually flock in. I think it's only a matter of when.

Probably not gonna watch (madalang nga lang ako manood ng libreng online concerts) pero it's probably a good time for them habang maaga pa dahil mukhang hindi na talaga matatalo ang COVID. Pwede bumaba alert levels kung saan allowed ang live concerts tapos tataas nanaman after a new variant at bawal ulit mass gathering.
Agree. Also, I noticed that more people nowadays seek convenience, being on a Metaverse gives them just that.
Hindi mo na kinakailangan pang pumila to go within the event and you'll have less chances of getting hurt; minsan kasi sa mga concerts may rambol, stampede and elbows flying left and right.  Cheesy
For sure, introverts that are into music would love to make this happen.

I know some local artists are already into NFT arts and P2E gaming kaya andun pa din yung possibility na sumunod naman ang music.
