To be honest I have never heard of a crypto based VPN yet. VPN is work as proxy for different country. We use VPN when a website is restricted to our own country.  Then we use the service of that website with the help of VPN. But I have never seen or heard of a separate VPN for cryptocurrency. I guess that's what you really want to know! you Couldn't explain it properly.

If you looking for vpn providers, which accepts crypto, the list is here: https://www.bitcoin-vpn.com

Some of them accepts crypto directly ( you can search over the list ) with 100% anonimity.

until now I did not find a crypto-based VPN, if you mean a vpn that accepts payments with crypto it is a little complicated because the price for the vpn itself is quite cheap, many vpn you can use by buying a vip service
If the payment is in crypto, there are a bunch of sellers of those VPNs on the digital goods and they're accepting payment in crypto. But if it's the actual VPN that accepts direct payments in crypto and they're part of a project, I think there are a few of them but still, they don't know how to market it.
Thus, I'll just use the Brave Browser and its TOR although it's not an actual VPN but that could be a good alternative for OP.

Instead of searching for crypto based VPN why not go for the best VPN which accepts crypto as their payment for subscription because at the end we are looking for the service provider now the projects which are started and never known to us.

No, i mean a VPN that is shared by ownership of an underlying currency. There were a few projects a few years back, but I can't remember the names and I don't know if they succeeded.
That's also nothing afaik. If anything, it's definitely a project focused on the internet and anonymity with a not-so-exact functionality concept. For example, I just checked Brave Browser has launched a separate VPN+Firewall product, but apparently it only supports IOS devices. Brave added this new product since July 2020.

I know this service : https://www.mysterium.network/

You can use their vpn network.

Mysterium is an open-source ecosystem of protocols, tools and infrastructure to liberate the web.

You can get details from here : https://www.mysterium.network/mysteriumvpn

I setup two different nodes from different locations. You can check this project.

do you really use this service and can you write something more about them (based on your experience, not just their promo material)?
I'm doing some research on VPN, so it would be of use to me.

Can someone explain to me what's that Cryptocurrency based VPN I can't remember that I see any projects like that, maybe it is not effective to have a crypto based VPN since it will be a lot of projects like that if it was a successful. I first thought you are asking a VPN that accepts cryptocurrency.

you just needed to read the previous post.

There's no need for an explanation. OP is just looking probably at a crypto project that's working related to VPN. Well, there's no such like that. But who knows maybe we've missed a crypto project that has a product of VPN. There are many projects out there that are focuses with web-related products so maybe there really are those projects and we don't know the existence of it and someone just talked about it with OP and now, he's interested.

Orchid VPN might be the closest thing to what you are looking for, as it uses the blockchain-based decentralized VPN.

The Orchid network enables a decentralized virtual private network (VPN), allowing users to buy bandwidth from a global pool of service providers.

To do this, Orchid uses an ERC-20 staking token called OXT, a new VPN protocol for token-incentivized bandwidth proxying, and smart-contracts with algorithmic advertising and payment functions. Orchid's users connect to bandwidth sellers using a provider directory, and they pay using probabilistic nanopayments so Ethereum transaction fees on packets are acceptably low.

I don't know of any similar service that exists, and if one ever existed, I don't think it was successful.
