It's better for you to hire writers and content makers than partnerships if this is a new blog it will take a few months before you can monetize your blog and that's a long wait for your potential partners, you should make it clear to your partner about partnership no one wants to work free you should at least compensate your partner because you own the domain and content being the domain owner if the partnership is dissolve your partner will be in a big disadvantage.

Hello,

I am looking to make a new 'blog' website about crypto in general – from how-to guides -  to detailed analysis about certain topics, coins, etc.

Since this project will be very difficult for me alone, I'm looking for another crypto enthusiast that will help me write and bring the blog to the level I want.

Since I'm starting from scratch, in the beginning there will be no financial income, but when the website starts to bring some income the revenue will be of course shared in proportion with the work you've done.

I'm offering You good communication, a great working atmosphere and no pressure.

From You, I'm looking just goodwill to help the project, a little bit of your free time, and solid English and Crypto knowledge.

You can DM me if you need more info or want to join the team.  Smiley

I may be able to help.  I just finished an "all crypto" type of site which pulls news articles from RSS feeds of other news orgs and added all CMC related pages (API).  I can add you as an editor and you can create whatever "blog" you want in your own "op'ed" section.  Within that section, you can put whatever advertising you want because I have an affiliate/marketing plugin that can accept people advertising on your pages or you can simply put your own ads.  Go to cryptolife.news and see if this is something you could use.  It could benefit both of us because you get a free space to write your content while being able to serve ads and collect any potential revenue from them.  And my site gets original content and we both get more visibility with google.  DM me if interested.

Running a blog is not easy.. mostly a crypto blog. i will suggest you just pick and stick to a niche in the crypto space to avoid crowding yourself and your site with so many information and end up confused

without your initial capital, I'm not sure you can expect a special level in quality.
you will need quality content here, and I don't believe you'll be able to get it for free only with promises, one day when your blog starts making money... a good writer would rather pay someone to create a blog for him and to be independent.
Next what is also important is marketing, SEO... it requires certain investments (financial investments) where just hiring people is not enough. it is necessary to pay for certain dedicated services.
it is possible to do something for free, but it does not raise the whole business to the required level.

It doesn't matter if you publish 1,2 articles a day. Most important short-term goal after opening shop is to build an audience using mailing lists, who will then take care of making backlinks for you just by pasting it on their own sites. Sure your DA will steadily rise even as the number of spam links increases but to gain top spots on google, you need viewers who will backlinks for you because your content is so good.

No Google listings = no traffic = no revenue, so mind the engagement carefully.

This is true, but that applies to any webpage. Website optimisation, SEO and whatever is behind is a serious industry. the fact that many understand what it serves, doesn’t mean it’s easy to do or that it is not possible to make mistakes that are difficult to correct later.

You have two options

  • First is to apply for jobs and thus appoint experienced people according to the money you have, and then you are looking for developers, or rather a paid service.
  • Second is voluntary participation, and here you need to make everything open source and that the goal be non-profit (or at least in the first part)

Do you have the money or can you prove it?
Wix does not represent anything. It is an effort of how many minutes.

I think now a lot of crypto news/blogs exist. Without money for advertising, it is very hard to compete with them.
I can suggest ideas - like translating existing articles on non-EN languages.
Or create a news aggregator API (not only EN lang).

Let me give you some advice, since I tried doing your exact idea 6 months ago.

There is a limited amount of time after you start getting links indexed on Google, to get sourced by more reputable sites, to preserve your page rankings and traffic.

If the window passes (a couple months), the number of trashy domains that link to you will steadily grow in the meantime, and Google could delist some links because your domain is having a "bad spam score" (and buying backlinks will often NOT resolve this).
