Gdax and Bitstampp have decent charts on their websites. For a single website covering most exchanges I would suggest cryptowat.ch. It's so good that an exchange bough it (Kraken). Also support technical indicators if you're after that but I don't think it'd e much usefull to someone that has just started training. It just delivers very reliable up to date prices and is very good at it.

I don't have accounts on many exchanges, but from the ones I know I would say that poloniex and Gdax offer the minimum for day trade, and from those two I would say Gdax is better. The thing is, you don't really need to be watching the charts on the exchange you are going to use, as long as they have an API, you can use a bot or, if you don't trust that you can just use trading view. You can make analysis on that site, and you have a lot of indicators to use, and once you decide what you do, you can put your orders on the exchanges. I see a lot of users using that in YouTube channels, and the site is really good in my opinion.

Although I don't have much experience, GDAX offers near instant updates to its trading portal. In addition, it offers candle stick charts down to 1-minute intervals. I've also had good experience with crymptocompare API. I use it in the form of the CryptoFinance app for google sheets. By using the command =GOOGLEFINANCE("BTCUSD") in a cell, it will fetch the updated price for any coin that you can see on cryptocompare.
This is a great way to keep track of coin value. I tried using and I am very pleased about this. Look forward to receiving more of your sharing on how to track trading volatility fluctuations in 24h of different coin to facilitate tradecoin. You can share to everyone who supports you.
I also used it and I felt it was not working well, maybe I did it incorrectly at some point. If you are successful then you can help me do this because I think it really helps a trader like me in this market. Look forward to receiving your support.

Trading apps like Tabtrader, Blockfolio and Coinmarketcap provide you real time charts from nearly all cryptocurrencies and markets. You can set also alarms on Tabtrader and Blockfolio. Interesting would be a liveticker as widget, that shows all prices, but I didn't find yet the right one.

I think the Bittrex is doing well, never used gate.io, so i do not know how to comment that, and you can also try binance, the desktop client is awesome, i enjoy using it.If you do not like any of there, you can write one , these sites provide API.

Hi,

I've started trading a few months ago, first by buying the dip and now trying to day trade. The thing that I've noticed is that at least on many exchanges (for ex. gate.io or bittrex) the price action is not displayed in real time.
On gate.io the indicators are very limited and also the minimun period per candlestick is 5 minutes which gets fairly inaccurate but ON TOP of all that, the price displayed after a few moments is not the actual price. Like it's lagging a few minutes or not updating right. If I go and refresh the page then the price shown is slightly different.

So finally, my question is: is there an open source software to be able to watch these charts real time or should I consider changing exchanges???

Thanks a lot for your time!
