I think a very good gift will be NEOcrypto money. Now on this coin the price is not very high. Look also tokins from the top ten. It will be a great gift.

By NEO cryptomoney you mean NEO, the former antshares? The problem then is that I cannot stake less than 15 units and that is kind of an expensive gift really.

I know this is late but 1. Ether is great gift idea and 2. if you want to use bitcoin, find a segwit address to keep the fees low.

I had the idea to gift a bitcoin acount with a little bit of bitcoin on it to some of my relatives. The problem is that fees are so high that I had to go for a secondary plan: an ethereum account. Now I would like to gift a few tokens. Any ideas?

Ethereum is really a good alternative for bitcoin or you can choose also altcoin. Let's just hope that Eth won't get useless nexy year because rumors are spreading that it's new competitors are much better.

Bitcoin is really to high but I think they would appreciate it if you give some of your btc even if it is have a few amount in it. For sure they will grow their bitcoin if they are not new to bitcoin because they already know the flow of it but if not for sure they will just encash it immediately.

This is some kind of joke?
No, please read the text carefully, I am asking for advice on what to gift MY RELATIVES. I am not doing an airdrop Santa style.

What tokens would be more fun for less versed people?

Guys, he doesn't mean he wants to give member on board ETH Cheesy

He says to his relatives

Thank you for the clarification. Either the people are not really keen on reading the full text or I have more relatives that I thought.

Still the question remains... What tokens would be nice for newbies ... things that are easy to understand, no those high-tech projects ...

Why not IOTA or ripple if you're thinking about the fees. But picking eth is better than bitcoin in terms of fees.

Marry Christmas! I think bitcoin transaction will be taking longer time now days, because I was done some transaction in bitcoin with lower fee it was taken Long time to complete the transaction, so upcoming days eth, dash, ltc and other coins will more popular.

OP - I liked the idea and considering the unconfirmed transaction are way too much its better to send the Ether so that they can receive the gift on time and on occasion for which you are sending.  Hope from 2018 we do not have to wait for this long time of btc transfer getting confirmed.

Last time I noticed this same thread in last year and this year also in bitcoin discussion section. Why you guys creating and making this thread as redundant thread here, you please ignore these kind of people by wasting your time to answer them for spam replies.
Unconfirmed transaction to ethereum will not be possible thing at all  but if you want gift go anyone to share as a gift it will bother your ontime issues due to network delay.
Network delay would really be a troublesome when you tend to send out some tokens either on bitcoin or on erc20 tokens which you don't have any choice but to pay up sufficient fee if you do really push to gift them with tokens but if I were you erc20 tokens would be good to gift on which fees aren't too big compared on bitcoin itself. I don't know whats on mind of people here why they are giving out their eth address. They don't know how to read simple English sentence?

yeah, friend bitcoin are really collecting more number of transactions fees compared to the other altcoins and also the network traffic is also high.
Ethereum,Litecoin and bitcoin cash will rule the 2018 so it best to invest in it.if you it is useful you can donate..

How ignorant some of these posters are. Hes going to gift for his relatives and everyone post their wallet addresses Cheesy

BTW, I would suggest you not to gift cryptocurrencies. Normal public does not know much about crypto. You will have to spend entire christmas eve explaining what is crypto

Give something memorable
