It is always pretty good to see a small business accepting crypto like it accepts fiat money. Also, their menu sounds delicious and now that I've read it, I'm hungry. Cheesy

This reminds me of a local shop called “Crypto Cafe” a few years ago in my crypto educational tour within the country.

During that time though, they haven’t adopted cryptocurrency payments yet. But I am not sure if they are already doing that now. I can’t visit that place easily because it’s so far away and we’re still under the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, there’s a crypto-themed bistro in Taiwan that has a menu with the crypto-related terms when I’ve visited that country last 2019.

How I wish I can start a coffee shop of my own with crypto adoption, but the problem is that I am not a fan of running traditional businesses.
with their Name themed crypto but they are not adopting Cryptocurrency as payment then is this really a Cryptocurrency theme or a "Cryptonite" them from Supermans best enemy?  Grin because the shop name must represent the currency if this is really about our market here.
mind telling us where this located so if there is a chance we can visit to check the place and learn what is this all about aside from being cafe.

The owner must be a big crypto currency fan.
that's for sure because there's no way someone who doesn't know bitcoin/cryptocurrency would want to do that.  the food/drink menu available is really creative, one day for sure i will try to make a business that sells food/drinks like this.

Not only he is a fan of crypto but also he is an intelligent marketer who knows how to promote a business. There are thousands of coffee shops which get unnoticed but since he integrate bitcoin and crypto with coffee, he has got noticed, and now his sales will be far more than the other coffee shops.

Got to know about this Australian cafe accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment. The interesting thing with the cafe, having all day and breakfast menu named after the popular cryptocurrencies

XRP(Ripple) smashed avo on toast, Doge BLT sandwich, ETH(Ethereum) ham, cheese and tomato toastie and more

Crypto coffee is also providing with a deposit of $20 worth bitcoin while signing up to the cryptocurrency platform Swyftx. Have you heard of any other menu named after cryptocurrencies.

Data : Crypto Coffee
I love the idea of Crypto accepting Coffee shop but naming the menu as crypto ? for me this is exaggeration lol.

because it seems that redundant to read and unethical for me.

But the concept is really amazing and it looks like the owner is really a crypto supporter and investor, knowing that there might be limited costumer that will understand His idea? yet he risked his Money investing in this physical business .

Nice idea from this entrepreneur to have opened a thematic crypto restaurant. It will get a lot of attention from crypto community, because it's not just a common shop adopting crypto as payment method, but also introducing crypto as the main theme of the restaurant, including the names of the hamburguers and breakfast options.
Besides that, I think Australia is a great country to start a crypto physical business, because it's a very educated country with decent financial standards, what means there are many potential customers to spend some time and money at Crypto Coffee.

In fact, such an arrangement in cryptocurrency makes us very happy, a very nice sight and a great work. The time will come when cryptocurrency transactions will be introduced in almost all countries. Transactions have started from shopping malls to various pharmacy stores. As the days go by, people will take better and better steps with information. And all the work will bring benefits.

Wow. This is really amazing and interesting too. I wish I could visit this restaurant, but bad luck. I am not rich enough to visit another country to see a coffee shop like this. But I hope that one day in our country, a coffee shop will be like this. I think it will happen if bitcoin is legalized in our country. Then I can also try Cardano Coffee, Bitcoin Breakfast, Ethereum Expresso. Smiley Cheesy Wink
By the way, may I know the taste of these items if you have tasted them?

this coffee shop is really creative, it would be great if there was something like this in my city. but I wonder if crypto payments are legalized by the Australian government there?
a pretty good sales trick applied by the cafeshop in my opinion, cafeshop is a business that has developed a lot in various countries, so we need tricks to attract consumers that are different from those offered by other cafeshops, I think the trick they use is quite unique and of course the trick it will attract the attention of those who are familiar with crypto in the country of Australia.
So far  australia through the Australian Tax Office (ATO) as a regulator that regulates finance and taxation only arrange bitcoin as investment assets and they do not consider bitcoin and other crypto assets as money.

Wow, that's very good, this is the first time I've seen a coffeeshop that can accept payments and cryptocurency deposits. I think this is progress and a new idea for the development of cryptocurrencies, when we trade, at that time we can enjoy breakfast and coffee, more practical and more modern, a good idea.
Prepare to see more and I think that it's not the first time that we've seen a coffee shop do this, I am not just sure that it's a coffee shop but I am sure that I've seen one posted in the forum in the past. I stand by my claim that this is just the start and things are only going to get bigger, I mean other shops will copy this if the first shop gets more profits.

Got to know about this Australian cafe accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment. The interesting thing with the cafe, having all day and breakfast menu named after the popular cryptocurrencies
That is quite nice, at first I thought that each meal had a cryptocurrency that it can only purchased with until I read it properly and understood that that the menu were named after popular cryptocurrencies. Café like this are quite rare and I would live to see more of them coming up everywhere and becoming a regular thing, I would really like a world where almost all the café  you would go will be accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method for whatever order you would make. I know this would happen for sure, although it would take, but they continue to grow and I love that.

As more people are becoming interested in crypto market the businesses are coming up with ways to attract them like this one. This menu and names of the dishes will surely make customers who visit the restaurant excited at once to try these dishes like what's special about them.It is way of adoption in one way as restaurant is promoting crypto and customers who will visit it will also come to know about it or later on start using it as regular mode of payment. These are moves that will promote the mass adoption so wait for it.

If a person who is a big user of crypto starts a crypto business just like OP did, it cannot be a success unless the customers also have bitcoins and they are willing to use bitcoin as a mode of payment. The society overall needs to be crypto enthusiastic in order for the business to flourish and Australia is definitely one of those countries where people are encouraged to used crypto.

Also, i would like to know how much sales this crypto coffee business generates ?

Yeah and that's for sure that's why it is important that a customer who would want to avail this kind of services needed to have a knowledge on how to transact crypto to crypto transactions. And to be honest, I really love the vibes that the OP wanted to impart with us, I mean this could be a good example and influence to other small business owners and coffee owners to start having this kind of transactions especially if they also knew how to use or transact crypto, and also this could be a good time to you know educate their customers who would wanted to try this kind of service.

Yes, the motivation is there for everyone to adopt bitcoin into their existing business but bear in mind, you need to see the local laws before allowing the public to transact in bitcoins. If the bitcoin is illegal or not allowed in the country, this could easily back fire and instead of getting more customers due to crypto adaption, you could end up paying the fine to the government authorities.

I'm a fan of coffee and course currently using a cryptocurrency and it's a good opportunity to buy some in that store if I have some chance if I travel I guess in that country. Is the menu will be the coin you will pay? Like the Ethereum Ham still, the ETH is the payment too or can be another coin just a name itself.

This store is so much fun because they adopt the innovation also they can track a record without hassle because it's already in the block chain hoping I will try that.

As long as the payment is legal using cryptocurrency, this will be very interesting and also developing, isn't it? Moreover if many more cafes also provide this kind of payment method. We know that it may not be easy because sometimes, the fees are so high. However, I also think that the owner has considered about this and provide many more options to ease the payment and also lower the transaction fee, also with faster speed.

Btw crypto is not legal as a currency or payment method in my country. So, I stil cannot feel what kind of codnition it is haha

I will go there if I am close, the menu is interesting, in my country there is no restaurant whose menu and name of the shop uses the name of crypto coins,
but in my mind is this not an exaggeration?

20$ btc for free is quite attractive to register on their platform if it can be used as payment at this shop, but I think this is limited, not forever

good idea as a selling idea, to attract customers where customers will come with a unique menu and name of the kiosk, especially if payment with bitcoin is a plus for bitcoin owners,
for the 20$ issue I think it's like an airdrop introducing one product to attract visitors, I think this applies as long as supplies last

Dang, another one? I guess in Western Countries I wouldn't be so surprised that many are adopting crypto-themed fast food. It is slowly getting common now and now, huh?

Most of these crypto physical shops are opening in western countries because they have the proper infrastructure of the internet and they can deploy bitcoin payment methods. In an underdeveloped world in which there is no democracy and fewer literacy rates, it is a dream to start such a project. Technology is another hindrance for those countries to start such an innovative startup.
I guess that's the hit. It would be really great if one day some random dude here in my country decides to open up that kind of business and I wouldn't mind chilling in his cafe. Cheesy
Regardless if one day I could travel to US, I would definitely keep an eye out of these physical stores along with my hardware wallet that I am going to buy once I start travelling around the world. Cheesy

and what's even cooler is the cafe menu that is served with food and coffee that millennials love the most, and currently most millennials are in the crypto world and that will make them feel happy because they can buy it with crypto. is a good idea and strategy because it takes advantage of technological advances and cryptocurrencies that continue to grow and develop.

This cafe's owner is a big fan of cryptocurrency, and he also had a good idea when he decided to open it. Crypto is extremely popular right now, and the cafe's unique name has the potential to attract a lot of customers. It was just a satisfying feeling to see that they are already accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment, and that the cafe's theme is based on cryptocurrency. I know for a fact that the people who buy from them or like to chat in their cafe are all interested in cryptocurrency and how they can make money from it. He should also be receiving a large number of tips through cryptocurrency, as well.

This one is unique and yet creative for the first time someone steps forward and makes their own unique style of promoting the use of cryptos as payments. If the payment is fast and convenient there would be lots of customers to come and try their coffee because the last time I saw such a thing a few years ago has been canceled due to the transactions being always stuck and failing. Thankfully with the help of local exchanges, all those problems are gone, and using cryptos as payment right now is like using any other traditional payment method.

Love how Australia is cozying up to crypto and having a restaurant accepting it as a form of payment.

To me what makes me wonder about this, is if you can pay with your Bitcoin without registering with Swyftx or doing KYC.

Also, and this is one thing I wonder if small crypto payments become more widespread, is how they are going to be taxed.

If they don't put a limit below which you don't have to pay any tax, for example $100 or less, it's going to be a mess to file a tax return. Let's think that crypto payments generally around the world are taxed as capital gains, and with how volatile the market is, I think the only way to file an accurate tax return would be with some program that compiles them all, but this is putting your crypto data in the hands of an external company.
This company might have a partnership with them to process payments so probably not.
I know some places where I use to buy things with bitcoin only allowed you pay using bitpay as a gateway but not with your regular send.
It certainly is a hassle but that is their decision on how they conduct their business.

There are some others also who have started the similar business model of crypto logos and accepting it as mode of payment in the restaurant. Some also have the menu set up in crypto terms for the customers to attract them towards the restaurant chains.I have found one similar to this one in Australia and this is in Florida named Crypto Street Restaurant and you would find such memu there like :

Quote
Some other crypto-themed dishes listed on the menu include the Blockchain Club Sandwich, Crypto Salad, To The Moooonnn Sundae, and SHIBA Shrimp cocktail among others.

For details check out : Florida based crypto restaurant

There are many such cafes which have interior decorators with bitcoin logos and crypto signs or any other thing like that or names based on crypto like this one here ;

So you would find lot of them but that's good sign for it's adoption as well and rising demand in various countries so soon you will find it common.
Its good to see another businesses opened for crypto users , these 2 businesses are a great example how crypto now is going high and high while the world is adopting crypto.

Lets use this thread sharing all aspect that uses bitcoin, either business or at least people who uses and accepts bitcoin.

a friend told me that there are new Milktea shop near us that also accepts crypto but i will visit this sooner.

And the most interesting would be for crypto newbies who are trying it out for the first time, they would be really excited.

Nice , this brings more positivity's  in crypto specially us who is investing for long term , because adoptions like this and the advertising for the community? if each country has this shop ? i think the business same as the market will both benefits .

But the Menu names seems not appropriate because it is already Given that this is crypto coffee shop so it's best to put the price as crypto but not the name lol.

a good innovation and will certainly attract people to visit the cafe and buy some of the menus provided.
this is a small adoption that is in a cafe but has a good effect on cryptocurrencies, introducing crypto to people who don't know about crypto. Accepts bitcoin payments and a $20 bitcoin deposit. will this cafe survive? I hope many will innovate like this cafe.

Very cool! It's like being in the future! I would love to have breakfast there! Smiley In general, it seems to me that in the next 5-10 years there will be more such cafes and other places where they will accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Yes, the process of legalization and integration of cryptocurrencies into the real economy is being delayed by banks and other major players who are afraid of someone because of competition. But sooner or later, this will end with the complete victory of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. They will be recognized all over the world. I am convinced of this.

Wow very nice. If all such physical shops start accepting bitcoin and altcoin then the use of cryptocurrency will increase one day. Personally, I love shopping with Bitcoin, because shopping with Bitcoin promotes it and the shops will be motivated to accept Bitcoin. So even though the cost is a bit high, I prefer to use Bitcoin to buy products from online platforms.

And thanks to the owner of this coffee shop for making such a great deal of bitcoin promotion.
I wish all people are like you that thinks of the good side and not only the bad side because so many people now refuse to use bitcoin because of this and that reason but on top of it they want btc to increase its value. I think that was a selfish move because they only think about themselves and wont do actions to make it happen but back on the coffee shop, kudos to them for doing this move but what I only do not like is how they name their products.

I like that they include cyptos to it but it was not that catchy enough like on what i see on most restaurants menu that also have their own twist. I believe they can think of a more better name. It is a must because that will make the coffee shop more interesting.

Deferent types of crypto in the menu?. for me it seems if you order with the one that has bitcoin logo in the menu you need to pay bitcoin as well the same with others. Lol it seems a good idea to be honest in my personal opinion if I'm correct. I really love the design of their logo. It's that mixed of Cyberpunk and more futuristic touch along with cryptos though.
Loved the menu as well, I might try that Chipotle Toastie Chicken when I travel at Australia one day.

It is something new to watch about cafes and restaurants having cryptocurrency named dishes. This is also a way to create some awareness among common people and with foodies who haven't heard much about cryptocurrencies. Having a crypto cafe in Australia isn't a big thing, but something in India where there is no legal acceptance is really a big effort. Couple of days back during the Indian budget the heavy taxation is made ove cryptocurrency and the same has given people that crypto is legal within the country.
I think it's a great idea though so that people who doesn't have any idea what crypto currency or people with an idea would immediately visit the coffee shop due to curiosity. This gives a vibe for people who want to know more about crypto currency if they were interested and not just in the food and coffee. Cheesy

Anyway, I think I get the idea of Indian government why they have to do it because if they can't stop people from using crypto currency even if they banned it. There will always be a way they could make use of it as long as there is a working internet on their place. So instead of prohibiting it from using why not put a taxation in it so that the country/government will benefit from it.

I thought they would instantly give customers $20 after registration but this is a referral program offered by Swyftx to all users. It also requires you to verify your identity before it is deposited to your account.
On Swyftx's website, they're claiming that the verification process takes little to no time [I guess it's not that bad]:

Well, we have BTS themed cafes and Spongebob themed drinks so why not crypto themed menus. I don't really ever feel these help with adoption but they can't be bad I guess.

Come on, forum, get some Aussie to go there for an episode of Bitcointalk Youtube and see if the sentiment is worth the fuss.

And to all those saying they can't wait to buy coffee with Bitcoin... Well, I wonder what's stopping you before?

Yea! I think this is great actually, the owners are obviously into crypto. Why not
have a crypto themed business? the least it will do is raise more awareness.
It would be nice to see some footage from inside on youtube.

I'm guessing all the staff there would need to know their crypto too, if a
customer asks whats a DOGE BLT? they will have to explain it.

I guess the owner is enthusiastic about using crypto and introducing it as their payment system and for their menu. That is not usual and will make people interested and come to that cafe. $20 as a deposit to have bitcoin, Ethereum or other coins as the payment is not too big for them to start ordering some food using the crypto name.

Hopefully, his cafe can become popular among the others and I am sure the media will blow up the place and once it gets attention from people, the other cafe will start following.

Contrarian opinion to the responses but while I like the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments, lol the food naming based on cryptocurrencies is actually so unnecessarily cheesy that it's so bad.

Obviously the pun was unintended mk4, Cheesy!

Nice idea and great menu. I'll take that xlm karage since I've tasted that before but it's with a twist on this menu, a karage burger. I don't know if that's going to taste the same but I think it's totally different.

I'd like to stay in a place like that and chill out while relieving some stress. Knowing that you have the same vibes with the owner as obvious with the concept, for sure a great conversation would be made in a place like this.

can't wait to purchase coffee and bfast using my crypto ,either Bitcoin or altcoin but there is so far none to be purchased as  I was thinking to have my own small business cafe to accept crypto here in my place.
now that the adoption and the increase in crypto users are there? i believe that it is time to have our small businesses accepting crypto.

What a great concept for a coffee shop , this means one thing that Australia is really into crypto  as they're businesses is concepting towards popular cryptocurrencies , hoping to see more of this kind in the future and also hoping that there will be something alike in my country soon.

though i have come across a thread recently that a Coffee shop is accepting bitcoin as well , so meaning cryptonians mostly coffee lover?  Grin

That’s cool so thanks for sharing. I remember back in the day these type of adoption stories were rare, not many businesses would accept bitcoin. It’s now becoming more & more frequent which is great for us. We’re still nowhere near ultimate mainstream adoption but we will get there.
Thanks to Covid19 pandemic in which this brings businessman tp conceptualized their businesses into the popularity of cryptocurrency .

Yes, I've seen a Coffee website in Australia where consumers can pay using crypto, but in my opinion, people in Australia are familiar with such a system, for other countries it may be a rare and unique thing, as far as I know in Australia crypto is regulated and has good laws for crypto users there, not only that investors and consumers have the privilege of using crypto, what the government and entrepreneurs in Australia are doing is a very smart innovation especially for the people there and tourists.

Conclusion: Australia has innovation and good strides in creating places like Coffee, Hotels and other entertainment venues to facilitate the crypto community in conducting transactions.

This is adoption at the very raw level where a real product and service is sold for cryptocurrency. Interesting to see the owner accepts SHIB. If I live nearby I'd probably visit, drink a coffee and take a photo of me for my Instagram.

Crypto coffee is also providing with a deposit of $20 worth bitcoin while signing up to the cryptocurrency platform Swyftx.
I think it will be valid during their promotion only, not sure if Swyftx will give every customer $20 worth of BTC for a long time. Those crypto holders who live near this Crypto Coffee are very lucky. At least, they have a chance to get $20 worth of Bitcoin. If I stay near that place, I will visit it for sure although I have no idea to pay the menu with BTC/ETH or fiats.  Grin

Anyway, I am curious about who is the owner of this Crypto Coffee? Is he the CEO of Swyftx?

It's possible or someone close, Swyftx is also based in Brisbane.  They claimed to be the most popular in AUS. Every country has one.

I'd go there just so I can try the BTC chipotle chicken toastie.
Love how Australia is cozying up to crypto and having a restaurant accepting it as a form of payment.
There was a beer named after crypto several years ago but never got to try it before.
But it is nice to see more menu items and they can have endless variety of them since there are 1000's of different coins on coinmarket cap.
