A lot of newbie have asked this same question and and the answer has always been that the forum serves that purpose already and if you have any doubt you want the experienced person here to help you with, you can always ask the question in the forum and you will be certain to get response that will be as helpful as the one you will get during the meetup.

What you should understand is that the members of the forum that makes up this nija board spans across the different states in the country and it wouldn't be wise to pay a huge transportation fee for a meetup whose purpose the forum is already serving. Maybe a WhatsApp group could be reasonable to some extent but how easy is it to learn a course from WhatsApp?

People's privacy has been a serious factor also when it relates to this topic and since we all exist on the forum with a pseudo personality, I guess most people would want to leave it that way.

I agree with you 100%. Meetup in a country like Nigeria doesn't sound to me like a wise idea either. The country is currently in a high volume of recession. The masses are hungry and trust me exposing your wealth in a messy country like this might get you attacked or robbed in a country where your security is not even guaranteed. Better to remain anonymous and make your money cool on the internet. However, if you have anybody interested in learning about the term crypto, you can always recommend this great platform to them.

Good morning, everyone.
With the recent news that Nigeria is allowing cryptocurrencies again, it's sparked an idea: why don't we have get-togethers where we chat about this crypto? Think of it as a special meetup, kind of like how software developers have their cool DEVFEST event every year (coming from a software developer background).

At these meetups, we'd have some top men in the forum (the experts!) talk about cryptocurrencies to folks who are new to it or just really interested. They'd explain what these digital currencies are all about, how they work, and how we can be a part of it.

The goal is simple: we want to make these meetups a place where anyone can come and learn about this crypto. It won't be boring lectures; instead, we'll have fun conversations, maybe some activities, where we all learn together.

Imagine walking in without much knowledge about cryptocurrencies and leaving feeling like you've got a better grip on what it's all about. Plus, you might meet some new friends who are also excited about this!

This aims to bring in experts to talk about these digital currencies in a way that makes sense to everyone. No fancy jargon, just clear explanations so that even if you're totally new to this, you'll understand.

This is our chance to create something cool—a place where everyone, no matter their background, can come together to understand and maybe even be a part of this new way of doing things with money.

It's a suggestion...it might be virtual or physical meet up. Please what do you think.
