I've never even heard of these crypto funds let alone actually invested in one. The only ones that I have ever heard of were obvious scams being put forth by some newbie on here or they were something that were completely unrelated to what your friend is saying exist.

At this point I would advise against investing in anything that is not established and has a long (and good) history because there are bound to be some places that will just "collapse" and the money will disappear.

But what is the process of the investment, what I need to give them ? what they do in return ? they open for me a wallet ? an account in exchange ?

This website is complete crap and you know it. It is a scam, and anyone who reads this please don't join that site because yo will simply lose your money. There are tons of sites that claim to be managed by "professionals" in reality all they do is make a Ponzi scheme where the first adopters make the most money and then they walk away with all of the Bitcoin whenever they want to.

If you dont have time, then why dont you buy bitcoins or several altcoins and wait until the price goes upto x2 of your invested amount?

If you dont have time this is the most suggested thing that you can do, maybe you wont have to wait much time to double your money if you invest on the right altcoins instead of those crappy alts that will never make more than x2 because they dont have volume.

Most of those funds are fake, so dont put your funds if you dont want to carry with a huge loss in some weeks or months from now.

In addition to the warnings about the funds, you don't need much time to invest in the crypto market? You could get your hands on your first coins like within half an hour. If you want to create a diversified portfolio consisting of many altcoins, OK you may need some time then, but it doesn't take much time to buy bitcoin and stash it somewhere until the price increases.

Which is the safest thing to do. When it comes to cryptocurrencies, I don't want other people handling my coins for me.

First rule in crypto world:
Always store your coins in a wallet that gives you (and just to you) the private key of your address.
Don't store your coins on exchanges, web wallets for a longer time because there is the possibility that they will be hacked or they will flee with people's coins. And never use investment sites because the crypto world is not regulated, they can only promise that they will pay you at the end but there's nothing that can help you to enforce your claim if something goes wrong.
If you really don't have much time, you should pay more at the beginning, buy a hardware wallet, buy some coins and store them on that hard wallet, and check back in some years time. The hardware wallet will make your investment safe. (But safety doesn't equal to profit...)

No, dont even think about putting your funds in there because it is obviously a SCAM.

Your friend is probably a newbie on the cryptoworld, because we all know that those kind of funds are always falling, they are just a well maked up system who are claiming to be the crypto revolutioinists.
be aware of those kind of funds, they are going to run out with your funds and you are never going to recover that money again.
it is better to buy some bitcoins, and hold them for some months, this will make you earn much more money instead of risking it all on a fund.
