- investors left the altcoin market last year
- only bag holders and day trading pump and dumpers remained
-- the bag holders keep bag holding until they lose a lot of money then start panic selling. for each of them the tolerance is different. some dump at 50%  loss, some 80% and some go as far as 90% and then dump!!! which is why the crashes are still ongoing
-- the pump and dumpers never leave, they enjoy the profit that the newbies can give them consistently.

this means nobody touches ICOs anymore! the newbies have their money tied up in a bunch of shitcoins that keep losing value and when they dump they exit for good. and the pumpers never risk locking up the funds they can use to pump and make money every day in some scam ICO!

it is your choice to decide which group you want to belong to.

I see people advicing investors not to invest for now because of the situation for now but I feel if we should stop investing that mark the end of ICO I believe there are still genuine ICO out there that we can invest that at the long run will pay off.

Not only me... but I guessing that other ICOs are having trouble with cryptofunds as well...

I personally think many investors and Blockchain experts are keeping their hands off.

As we all know that the market of cryptocurrency isn't doing that well..................................

I think i will have some kind of loss in the ICO that i participate and in personal cryptocurrency investment as well.

How do we overcome the issue in short-term?

Any good updates Huh

"the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets." goes the famous investment maxim by Baron Rothschild. In the two centuries intervening he has been proved to be largely correct. Right now is a great time to buy and the way you overcome the issue in the short term is stop investing for the short term and start taking a more long term approach.

Unless you want to sell at a loss and try to recover those losses by day trading, you have no other option left but to hodl. If you can't stomach day trading, then I suggest you forget about your porfolio for a while.

Decrease the amount of risk in your portfolio if there's enough liquidity to do so and the price is reasonable else just hold until the next upswing, but cut your loss if it's a bad investment as it isn't likely to appreciate no matter how well the market performs in the future
But how long? remember when someone was seeing the bearish market and then they will have thought to sold their money as soon as possible. This has become the main problem.
The crypto depends on the speculators. the price is reasonable to buy right now.

Either short term or long term needs to deal it properly that seems millions of dollars once lost and millions of dollars once success. This is not about short time or long time strategy but this is all about the decent result not drastic end. Dealing this sides could be through patient and focus.

ICO in 2018 is a bad choice for investors, where everyone starts to be unreliable in carrying out their duties, developers are too accustomed to SCAM, so they lose the trust of investors, as easy as ICO launches, it's as easy as everyone doing a SCAM against their bitcoin brothers
money has blinded everyone, and the worst effect is that bitcoin is starting to not be trusted by users who want to try it because there is a lot of bad news about bitcoin

I think you don't need to hurry to invest in the ICO as we see and know that every ICO now has been a delay because the crypto market is not stable. It is better to wait for a moment until the crypto market can recover while you can invest your money in altcoin which can give you another profit. I think right now it is better to use long-term investment in the ICO or the altcoin until the situations can be back to normal again. But I guess that you have a strategy to face this situation. Be careful if you want to invest in the ICO.

ALL ICO's are SCAMS... You can think whatever you want, but the truth is, there is no such thing as a ICO anymore. Everyone who makes ICO are just money hungry scammers looking to make millions since people are dumb enough to keep investing into ICO's.....
In other words, for every 10,000 ICO's created, only ONE ICO will possibly be halfway decent. Mark my words Smiley

I don't think that all ICO scams, there are a number of ICO projects that have been successful this year and are still running well, this can be seen by the active communication of telegram and active project updates on social media.
Don't equalize all projects are scam if there is no strong evidence

How to overcome short position? then go long term. It's simple but you may find it hard if you are looking for daily gains. ICOs nowadays aren't so good and they are being blamed because they dump tokens.

How can you lose anything if you do not sell it cheaper? that is very simple if you bought something up there and right now it is underwater, just keep it.
The market will not like this forever, someday there will be a time for us to recover its price again but not right now.
What happened with your ICO? well, I guess you and nobody can do nothing about it.
that is your problem, why did you participate in any kind of ICO when the market is on the decline. What do we need to do to overcome all of this?
Get some work in real life, or rest for a while from cryptocurrency. Find a positive thing that can boost your mood and your life, looking at cryptocurrency everyday could short your lifespan and your mentality.

I suggest right now that the current market is unstable the ico that is still on the process of token sale should pause the sale and just wait for the market price to calm down again. Continuing the sale while this market is not good can cause damage to their token price.
