Guys i am newbie but i believed crypto currrencies will give some additional leverage to average guy against mighty in various forms.
I believed in satoshi's vision to empower but I am seeing crypto is used to launch ICOs/scam/rob innocent peoples.
There are numerous ways build around crypto to milk the innocents.
I feel as this forum is the biggest stage of crypto this forum members should take some steps to prevent all this  else whole crypto world is  ponzi scheme run by few specialists.

Even in 21st century we don't have some scam proof systems.Humans discoveries are useless and futile if we cant develop some trust system.
Lack of trust gives birth to FUD.And in turn shifts human race to lower grades.
Please take/suggest some initiatives to control this.
Being a programmer myself if  my code can help/solve/contribute in any way let me know.

thank you for your insight and suggestion.. this will help especially I am minning a  Rise coin right now..

Cryptocurrency is a freedom in their financial which mean when they have it,the only one that responsible for their own money is themself.
unlike Bank and others which is goverment backing behind them.
a lot of people get scammed by robber, ponzi runner, hacker and else because they can not handle their own emotion and their head to think it logically.
even if you're a programmer, you can not do anything about it because they're the only one that can decide it what will they do.
the only way to 'help' them but can not prevent it is by open up a site, blog and similiar to that and tell them what is ponzi, what is pyramid and something like that.
plus make some an explanation and detail about scam attempt.
tell them about your experience in cryptocurrency, what is bad and good from ICOs and other HYIP.
plus it would be better for you to create a social group for talking about this kind of activity

yes this forum is biggest hub for bitcoin and crypto community. Moderators and few DT members are doing great job by tagging all possible scammers and scam ICO with red trust. You can save yourself from scammers by not trusting members of this forum which have negative red tags in their profile.

If you are a programmer than you can make a site where you can list all old/new/running bitcoin related ponzis and scam ICOs.

All this just can't happen without any central regulation. I think member of this forum itself must introduce some norms which are neccessary to be complied with by every ICO. This might provide a scam.proof system.

People in the cryptocurrency universe mostly only get robbed via shitty ICOs and shitty security, as some people even admit that they only save their private keys on a .txt file or a .doc file. Might aswell hand over your money to the hackers. The best way we can help the newbies is to inform them, early on. Most have to get hacked for them to realize how important wallet security is.

Yes it is Crypto. It's just like fiat moneys. Purchased, Paid, and other similar words. Money is run by people, The crypto is the same. The money people use is the crypto as well. What i want to say is to be careful as you keep your money. Crypto has nothing to do with thefts. It is responsible for the people who are using it. So, the only thing I can advise on you innocent beginners is to be careful about every step you can take in. Just like keeping your money.
The big difference is, money is run by peoplethe government. Most cryptocurrencies are run by the people, for the people.  Wink

Hello!

I'm glad to see that there are people like you.

I have seen many different ICOs.
And most of them do not have any standards! Everyone writes everything they want, and there is no filter!

I believe that the community should gather, and create standards for the ICO, which must be fulfilled by a person, for admission to the market. Inachi ICO fully descritizes itself.

I think that a global consortium of crypto-currencies can be created, which will introduce this standard.
