I have been investing in Bitcoin and I never been a part in short term trading, I’m always investing in a long term and that has been working out for me. I would say that it’s just luck that I have been able to make good profits after holding my coins, sometimes it can be frustrating, but when the price goes up your mood changes to a happy mood lol. It’s just not easy.

I have decided to start investing little by little. I wait for sometime and then I add up some amount to my wallet and keep storing them, I do it as savings but I don’t forget to keep it at a level where it’s less risky for me. Keeping your investment at level where the risk is less for you is very important.

Well, the risk is existed in most of domains including this one but it is pretty necessary in order to reach your goals in shortcut way, but make sure that taking the risk without a strategy, it may make you lose all your money and in a short period. In addition to that, investment in crypto is so appropriate in this time, but try to pick the potential coins for most of your budget ( 65% ) like, Bitcoin, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Tether, Litcoin and Bitcoin cash, and you can take the risk with the other percentage (35% ), to be honest, I don't give a big attention for the other altcoins so and I can't give an advice .
Altcoins are not worth short trade at the moment so you shouldn't bother yourself trying to.
But instead you can make a research about them and make one long investment which can be multiplied in several years.

First, bitcoin is still the best cryptocurrency no matter what state it is now, either high or low. Both bitcoin and altcoin are risky but bitcoin is worth it when it goes up again. Seek advice or help to those crypto investors so that you will have ideas what to practice and become effective in investment for crypto. You should not get ideas while doing investment, you should do it before investing money. Altcoins are just an alternative, although sometimes it may give you profit but not that certain that you will get a huge amount and it can also bring losses to you. So it is much safe to invest in bitcoin.

~~I asked myself this question 10 months ago if it was worth it to invest in it.~~
You were at the right time to ask the question. And you answered it perfectly at the time. This allows you to buy at lower prices of all crypto since in 2019, the prices were cheaper than this year. If you are still holding some of the coins you bought at that time, you must gain much profit today. You are lucky, man!!

~~First, before I made the decision to go through with the plan. I took my time to understand all the necessary details or terminologies involved.~~
Yes, never invest in crypto without a plan, analysis, strategy, and know everything about it. You did it correctly by making a plan and tried to learn everything before deciding to invest in crypto. Not all people like you, many newbies just invest blindly and finally get nothing.
O yes)) one year ago I too buy a lot of crypto and... Nothing every money....

It would be really weird for people here to say they do not plan on investing in crypto, sure there are people who said no but in general if people are here that kind of already means they are "interested" in crypto investments. I doubt even the ones who said "no" would disagree that if they can get bitcoin from lower and sell higher they would say no to such a deal, they are saying no because they are not interested on a situation where they have no clue if they will make money or not, and they do not want to risk their investments.

However, if you asked this in a financial district to people who work with money all day everyday as their business, you could actually get to see how bitcoin or crypto in general fares with the economics world of our nations and you could keep asking once every year to see the changes.

Good for you that you and your team is presumably well knowledged about the technical aspects of crypto (I say so because you said you created an algorithm Cheesy). And congratulations for getting 35% profit. Hmm, but how about small hodlers like us? What can we do to maximize our chances of income? I guess the least we can do is to pick a legit coin (stick with btc of you are a hesitant on other alts) with good future so that our problem would be solely about management of our coins.

Don't lose hope, we can make it through. Continue growing in and soon we will become successful in our own little ways Smiley.

Simply stated yes it is "worth it".  Crypto is an asset class that is only growing not shrinking.  The question is how much do you want to invest into it.  Diversifying into multie asset classes (stocks, metals, real estate, etc) is healthy and protects your downside of having everything in one bucket.  Crypto is no different.

Right on spot. Unfortunately, many people think that diversifying means invest in different cryptocurrencies which is not right at all.
Simply because if bitcoin somehow falls/disappears/breaks - whole alt market will fall too.
Invest in different fields and you won't lose everything in a moment
Diversify is not bad because different altcoins investment capable to balance ur assets in downtrend. A little chances to lose entire of the investment, if somehow hardly dump Btc. Likes i have a lot of currency investment when btc go below 4k$ than whole altcoins market price affected big. I recovered lost amount from just 1 crypto after hold long term.

As long as an investment is legit and profitable at most, then it’s good. Before investing money in Bitcoin people need to have good information about it. Information that you need to have is mainly on the risk and how you can manage it. There are people who invest in Bitcoin without being aware of this and when they start losing they come to a conclusion that Bitcoin is a scam lol.

So, anyone that wants to trade cryptocurrency should be equipped with good information about it. I had a similar experience as a newbie because I started without know that it is volatile, thought it was a payment method till I started losing some money.

of course it is worth it to invest in crypto but just like any other investment you should know how to handle it and know all of the risk in it,
Most of the people who lose their investment on crypto are those who are blinded by their greed who doesn't have a proper investment plan.
I think most of them just invested because of the huge profit that they saw or heard from someone's success and want to try their luck,
I believe that they are the one's who we call the believer of Bitcoin is an instant rich scheme type of investment.
Anything does really need some planning and if you dont have this then most likely you would end up on unfortunate situations or simply a loss of money.
Crypto investment is worth if you do know on what you are doing but if you do just jumped in because of they hype then you would surely make mistakes most of the time.
All things do really need understanding and also mistakes is inevitable but be sure that you do learn from it.Earning money on this market sounds easy but it is
really just the same on earning money on real world. The thing here is that most people do have those common perceptions on making easy money thats why they do
commonly end up on scams.

That is why we need to be knowledgeable first about the crypto investing before jumping to the actual investing. If you enter with this ecosystem without atleast basic knowledge chances are you will loss your money or worst thing is to be scammed. Overall,  crypto investing can benefit us if we are skilled as we engage with this so you better have a research first and explore all these opportunities.
Yes, because investing only based on news or even rumors will only make us lose, at least something like this has happened to me and it has become a lesson for me personally to keep doing research first before spending money to invest. Managing risk more wisely by doing research at the beginning is the most important thing so we can convince ourselves whether to continue or leave it to look for other projects that are better.

Well every investment comes with the risk , the risk of loosing everything therefore crypto is not something that is any different.
Yes there are investments that might give you safer option but you know the returns are very very low as compared to the normal investment and you need a lot of documents and often a certain amount that is allowed and it is all so controlled therefore I do think that instead of seeing it the negative way we should start seeing it in the positive way ..
Crypto investment is amazing considering how it makes people really comfortable with what they own , no authorities, no nothing , chance to earn without external interference.

Crypto currency sure has its perks and benefits it comes when used or invested in but, just like any other real investment it also has its set risk that you might want to avoid. Crypto currency investing could take a lot of risk and also can give you a lot of profit. Volatile coins that are great for investment like Bitcoin that is a high value asset in the present and would be in the future.

So far, I have been investing only in been and haven't tried other coins, maybe after the halving I would explore other crypto currency.
Considering the volatility of the cryptocurrencies are so important because it only means that the market has unpredictable movements that can indicate higher risks. I have investments in cryptocurrencies, I usually buy coins that have high value traded because I can ensure that this coin has potential in the market. I do not buy coin that have low marketp capitalization because it only means that there is no interested about it. I buying a coin that have already established named in the market in order for me to lessen the risks.

Cryptocurrency investment has really some staggering gains, i've seen a guy here posted his recent trading gains about 20% all in one day. I also know some people who trades at stocks and but they only manage to gain 2-3% in a trade. Right now stocks is in a decline due to inflation.

This is not just my opinion as a crypto investors but this are all facts. I think in time cryptocurrency could become more valuable than it is today compared to fiat.

well, the benefits obtained in cryptocurrency can indeed be very high, but no one knows when it happens because the price movement of cryptocurrency depends on how the conditions of demand are at the exchange place, so when you make an investment anywhere there will certainly be a risk and in every investment there is nothing can provide a guarantee of profit because indeed the price movement no one can guess accurately.

I am interested in investing in crypto because I already saw what is happened with crypto in 2017, and I am sure that the crypto can repeat the history and who knows, this time, the crypto can increase so high more than in 2017. With many predicting from the analyst, and we saw what happened in the past, the crypto price will have the possibility to break the high price. Crypto investing itself is different than the investment that we used in real life because, in cryptocurrency, we need to control our emotion because the crypto price will not stay at one rate. If we can realize the risk, then we can invest in crypto without any problem.

One of the best innovation today is with the use of cryptocurrency because we all know that before only a few people appreciate the income you will have in crypto they just ignore the use of it but by the time goes by the price of the crypto continuously increasing and giving a lot of profit to the people make an investment on it, and now we are in the era that the cryptocurrency becomes popular because the huge amount it gives every time it goes up. Today many people getting encourage because they know the potential of the coin to give a lot of money on them but still there are people failed their investment because of lacking knowledge and ideas on how it works. Cryptocurrency is very risky because there are only things you will have, to win or to lose your money but life is just like the investment it depends on your faith and luck.
Well said. Only few people appreciate the use and importance of cryptocurrency that we are the only one's who appreciates it. Good thing that bitcoin and cryptocurrency is continuously increasing it's price that more people are now investing their money in cryptocurrency because they learned that it can helped them to provide their daily needs.

I voted yes, based on my experienced and market condition, but you did not mentioned particular coins in your post, you still need to do a research on the coin that you want to invest because not all coins are created equal, there are coins that has great potential over the others and there are some coins created to become a shitcoin.

The only investments worth the time are investing directly in companies (equities) investment in gold or investing in crypto because these are proven to beat the rising inflation and decreasing money value. You will be amazed to see how your position change if you invest smartly in a world where people love to invest money by keeping paper money under their bed lol.

Investing in Cryptocurrency comes with associated risks like any other monetary investment. I asked myself this question 10 months ago if it was worth it to invest in it. First, before I made the decision to go through with the plan. I took my time to understand all the necessary details or terminologies involved. An important tool in investment is to be equipped with knowledge so that you will be able to spot the red flags and pull the plug before losing your capital. After equipping myself with knowledge, then I created a team of 5. We designed an algorithm that helps mitigate the risks and predict market trends with full control over our gains. At first trial for the first 3 months, the return was at 10%. After 6months, we were able to boost the return to 30% and thanks to the recent uproar in prices, we clocked a record 35% return last week. I would say it is worth investing in Cryptocurrency but it is best to do it the right. Feel free to drop your opinion.
First of all, what kind too is that you designed to predict the market trends?

Technical analysis is more effective way to boost your profits along with timely decision what what to do and not when the trend changes.

Crypto currencies got highest volatility compared to other kind of investments so chances of making profits is higher here.

Big returns but I wonder what you did or what kind of strategy you applied to get those big returns, or could there be a system there that you really created to analyze prices so that buying and selling can really be done with right time. However, investing in crypto and other industries cannot be done carelessly, a good understanding is the most important thing because crime is always there and even lots of bad news about investment fraud everywhere.

Good timing, I would say. 10 months ago is somewhere around March or April, depends on calculation. In this case it's the same, last year prices had their peak in Jun/July, who bought before and sell in that time (it's the time when most prices had their top btc over 12k, eth over 300, I don't remember all of them) made a nice profit.
You didn't need any special strategy to make profit in this way. In January last year btc price was under 4k, so if you bought bitcoin in period from January to May last year you have your money doubled, in some moments even tripled, if you hit a good moment for selling.

It is the same with any other investment, if you do not know what you are getting into, you are doomed to fail. Kudos to the OP for taking the time to understand what cryptocurrency is and the key points that could move the market. And also, a little bit of luck might have helped them get their positive portfolio. 10 months ago the market is in bad condition and they still saw the opportunity it offers. The market slowly recovered from then up to date. If they saw that coming, it is a great foresight and proof that their system is working.

This post also serves as a good example for others who wanted to start investing. Do not just ride the hype like what those wannabe investors who joined crypto in 2017. They bought when the price is heavily pumping and saw bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme. They tank afterward. Taking the time to study and learn crypto is hard but it is worth it in the long run.
That's the problem to many people who are new in this industry. They have heard about crypto but what caught their interest is profit. Cryptos are really profitable but profit won't be earned in an instant. Bitcoin became popular because its market price have reached new levels on the previous years, giving new people in this industry, an initial thought that once you invested, profit will follow. But it is not. And since the market prices on the recent years are on downward motions, they started making absurd conclusions that investing would only result to huge profit loss not knowing the actual 'game' in this investment.
If you would be patient, you would win for sure. The market price of cryptos do tend to increase at some point and fall in a sudden, and that's market volatility. Observing those who are not new, they do remain calm everytime the market value of most cryptos are falling because they know what to do and what to anticipate next.

Those who invested recently are mostly losing interest already because the situation at this moment did not meet their expectations of easily earning profit just by investing.
I am an investor of crypto since 4 years ago and I can say investing is really profitable if you do the right thing.
Personally, I don't trust other people when making a decision, I like to do it myself and been doing that since before and I can still some success.

The problem with trusting other people is you have to pay for the premium or the call they'll give to you but it doesn't help you grow as an investor or as a trader, so if you do it yourself, you are also learning as you are making it a long journey for you.
The reason is that, no one could really predict the market behavior or when will downfall and uprise occur, it is just a matter of 'feeling' or speculations of the majority, which affects the actions of some investors to align their expectations to the 'hype' most of the people are creating.

What I like about your post is you did the right thing before jumping into investing with crypto, you let yourself equipped and because of that you gain profit by following your strategy.

Like any other investment crypto is not different, it has risk and its necessary to gain knowledge first to become aware of what to do incase something unexpected happen.

But each of us has different experience, some succeed while others chose to quit due to the long bearish trend and cant stand seeing their assets losing its value.

that is thier mistake that op didnt make . they quit due to a small issue which was seeing a bear but if they only do what the op does  ( doing research before hopping in  ) i am sure that they can handle those bears that they see  . its true crypto didnt differ with other investment assets but the only thing that cryptos excell is because they are highly profitable due to thier amazing nature ( volatility )while others are just stable and also other investments are more riskier especially if you dont know the company that your investing with because in any moment they can collapse

Almost two years of investing in cryptocurrency, I can say that I did not regret it. Let's be honest, it aids our financial status. I admire your journey, mate. In fact, putting up a team isn't that easy. I know because we are planning to build a team, too (together with my brothers). Just like you, we will combined our knowledge as well as our funds to do some tradings.

We are in a practice stage right now before doing some actual trades. We have a goal everyday to make sure we are ready enough to do tradings. Hope we can make a success trades like your team.

People who already invest in cryptocurrency in 2013-2017 will want to continue the investment because they believe that bitcoin price will increase higher, especially in this year or the next year. They still buy more bitcoin, and now they have a good time to buy bitcoin in lower than $10k, so they can hold it for a while until the price can increase more than $15k. But some people are buying and sell bitcoin to make more money in bitcoin or usdt, but they still prepare to hold more bitcoin because that means they will make a big profit in the future.

You should invest in cryptocurrency only and only if the you have some background knowledge into it. Crypto is a complicated thing because the ways on how to earn some of it is trading. You should be able to predict chart movements so that you can earn money in a short period of time. There are also some instances that the investors is holding their coin until such time that its price is ready for selling.

each person has a different experience in this matter. from the beginning until now, having crypto is still very profitable for me. however, for some people, especially those who invest in 2017, I think it is still quite difficult for them to believe in crypto again. however, investing in crypto is still very valuable when you know good information, as well as accurate chart predictions.
If you have enjoyed the benefits of cryptocurrency since 2017 then you are happy to date. I am sure there are still many assets that you have and you invest in, but for people who are new to cryptocurrency they are afraid of cryptocurrency investments they cannot control their emotions so they always look panicked when make an investment.

I don't know if what you are saying is true but I think you are mixing up trading into investing since algorithms are mostly used in identofying technical indicators in every price movement an asset make. In investing what only matters is your entry point and the price you will sell it which of course will only happen when you are hodling on a long-term period. Other than that you have also said that you are experiencing gains on a weekly basis which isn't in the nature of investing since profits of that kind in a short period only happens in trading. Next time if you want people to believe in what you are saying about you gaining “knowledge” on something you must prove it without making a mistake in your writing.

I agree with your assessment investing in Crypto currency is both profitable and worthwhile if you know how to pick the right coin to invest and you know when or the right time to buy and sell your coin, timing is everything here in Cryptocurrency and of course you must be educated on how to protect your coins and your wallet, because you are your own bank.

As long as you are equipped with proper knowledge and a bunch of information regarding crypto then you will gain profits in short, mid and long run.

The risk in cryptocurrency is surely high but the reward of it is higher compare to other investments like stocks, bonds, ETF's etc. If you are good in trading then you can profit more than what you are earning right now. Its good that you didn't jumped off in investing into crypto first but you gained important information regarding this concept.

TBH, most of the investors doesn't do a research anymore and this results into more scam that is happening. It is a big mistake to just throw your money into something you don't even understand. Investing into one investment just because you heard that it is more profitable than other investments is wrong.

Newby’s account tells incredible stories about the fact that for six months he received huge payments that clearly hint that he should turn for advice and he will tell you how to repeat this scheme.
It seems to me that such accounts are created specifically to post this kind of message, and then the owner of this account will come here from his real account and offer something.

Of course, I could be wrong, but the fact that a newbie creates a vote by his first message saying that he is already familiar with the functionality of the forum.
We all here are extremely suspicious, conscious and care about own privacy.
So I don't think anyone here will be hurt, but I feel interested in OP's story so we should just gotta wait a little bit before the story actually spins ut

I guess you would tend to sell out that algorithm for sure? 10% for a month is somewhat realistic compared to those people who do offer much more on monthly basis.

If you do make profit then congrats but hopefully this one isnt just an another side advertisement.
indeed the profit offered per month is not too excessive, 10% is a logical target, but we must be vigilant with the algorithm, because one day it will not suit certain conditions. for me it's better if we are good at trading manually

This is OP's first post on the forum and how come we should believe you that you have a team of 5 people who are working more than 10 months for now? This seems suspicious for me and OP might perhaps have any intentions to scam users so it is never good to trust anyone like this who might show us huge profits.

I can afford to earn 20 to 25% profits per month but it takes huge efforts and not only few tricks so how could we rely on you that without knowing your experience you are gaining 30% per month. Maybe you could share with us some of your order book screenshots or your you could at least display your portfolio?

There is always the first post and then comes more. Rome was not built in a day. Soon I will drop more post(s) with proof(s) to support my claim. Thanks for your opinion.

Definitely worths investing into crypto currencies however like you said you have to do your own research and get more acquainted with it before you can actually get in if you are very new. We the people who have been here for years never really felt the urge to actually come up with a reason to invest because we have been here for many years and we have seen all the ups and downs multiple times already so we know the associated risks of investing into crypto currencies so we are forgetting sometimes that there are always new people coming in.

It is hard to see crypto at the eyes of someone who has never owned a single satoshi before when you are a person who have been involved for over 5 years, yet if we want the adoption to increase we have to try to understand them as well.

How you invest in cryptocurrency depends on the level of risk you can take, and there are different ways you invest, it’s either in a short term or a long term. Sometimes I prefer long term investment because I have an office job, it pays fine and takes most of my time, so I hardly get the time to trade Bitcoin on a short term.

When I want to invest in Bitcoin I do proper analysis and invest when the price is at its lowest. This way I will be able to hold it for a long term till the price goes up and I will make profit. As for short term, I do that only when I get the opportunity to do so, and sometimes I send to my friend some of my bitcoins and he will trade mine when he’s trading; he spends most of his time trading, since he’s a businessman with his own business.

Crypto investment and other investment is not the same. Crypto investment is in more than one way, either you are hodling or you are trading it.

Most crypto enthusiasts forget that you can do exactly the same in a lot of markets. Buy valuable enterprise shares and they are very likely to be worth more in a couple years.

To respond to OP his approach makes sense. Trackers used to beat traders, I’d see why it would be different with cryptos.

Good for you OP because of 10 months ago, the market started to reverse from a bear market to a bull market. Perhaps it's not your algorithm or whatever else. It's simply because you went in at the right moment. Try to do that in a bear market and still yielding positive returns, and I will worship you.

Boom! I like your statement, mate. I agree with you!

Anyone, with a little knowledge will successfully trade when the market is in a positive trend (though not always like that), but not if it's the otherwise, it's hard to get a return when the market is in a negative trend.

@OP, congratulations! Congratulations on the return you get! However, I think "returns on the bear market" theory will be more interesting.

Not each of us is able to make profits from the bear markets but yes, there are a lot of people who have made immense benefits from the bear markets only with the help of leverage trading.

OP seems like having minimum experience and for the starting few months, cryptos might show him/her some profits but after those times, they might have to land up in loss sometimes due to the lack of knowledge. Current markets are beneficial to trade with and any individual who might join in the current markets would at least gain some benefits because we already are into the bullish signs which makes it easy for quick profits.

Actually everyone want to gainer from crypto investment, but unfortunately all of them won't gain. First you need to understand market analysis before investing. You should have full knowledge where you are going to put your money. Also profit sometimes depend on markets trend. For example my portfolio become 10x down from last year. I had invested that time according to market conditions, but unfortunately market start dump exactly after my investment. So we can't do anything with that kind of situation. Sometimes look like it was my bad luck. However, I learned from my mistakes, hope markets will recover soon, I am just holding now instead of new investments. I think better to avoid more stress. Don't know what algorithm you have found nor I am interested on such as tricks. But everyone not lucky same like you if you really earned as you described on OP.

My brother has been trading in the stock and futures markets for almost 10 years. During this time, he lost a lot of money and for the last 3 years he has been investing in bitcoin and making profit from it!
In addition, if you don't know how to make a profit in a short time, you can just invest in bitcoin and you will most likely get your profit in the future when the price of bitcoin rises in relation to the dollar.

If you put money on something that you did not understand, it is not investing because it is a gambling. If you say investing, you have money working for you where you know the information and the process. We should be aware that cryptocurrency investment is risky but we can handle it if we have good psychology and mentality. Of course it is confusing for the new people in the market but they will get used to it if they will keep reading different useful information.
That's right on spot. Cryptocurrency should become more of investment tool for much more people, but the old community around it is used to behave like it is gambling.
I don't know about psychology and mentality, but Im sure useful it will be to read more articles about this.

Investing in  crypto resources into digital forms of money includes significant danger and misfortune and isn't appropriate for each financial specialist.

Throughout the years, Bitcoin has performed firmly with noteworthy returns and proceeding with client appropriation. Of all monetary forms around the world, Bitcoin yielded more noteworthy returns.

So if you are hodling, it means you can only make profit when price goes above you invested price. This kind of profit to me is difficult to have and it is seasonal like what happened in 2017.
But trading investment is more appropriate in my own eyes because you make some instant profit daily.

Investing will only lead you to either loss or gain. You can say that investing in crypto is great, only if you understand the risk that you're taking. We have to understand that we don't know what will be the future market value so it's up to us how are we gonna keep ourselves away from losing our money when investing. We should make sure that we truly know how crypto works and how can we earn from it regardless of how risky it is.

If you don't have enough knowledge of crypto investment, you might end up losing your money. It is the knowledge that we really need when investing. Every businessman must know how to run a business before starting their own. And this is also the same as investing in crypto. Why would you invest in something you don't know? That is why before you invest, make sure you are mentally and financially prepared for all circumstances.

This is a Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency forum man, so all of the response will be in favour of crypto, haha.

Investing in crypto is undeniably worth it, short term or long term investment Cryptocurrency will be the king of it. Just see the market fluctuations that what traders want good ups and dumps, regular trading or marginal trading as long as you know what you are doing you will get an instant and quick profit. Don't you know how to trade? Just go for long term investment, and I am sure that it will pay you well here in crypto.

I think you missed the point OP wants to convey and discuss. Rather than discussing whether cryptocurrencies worth investing or not, he is pointing out the idea of systematic investment. Most of the crypto traders are naïve and choose the time and amount of investment arbitrarily. But that's wrong. Best out of best investments fail if not invested on right time. Reading market is equally important in case of cryptocurrencies as any other investment.

Several people made investment in XRP and TRX trusting the word of mouth few years ago and today their folio is down by 80-90%.

By the way, this thread is more appropriate in Trading Discussion section IMO.
