I think crypto isn't for everyone, some won't just be able to cope with crypto investment, maybe because they are lazy asses or they need to be elsewhere to make their money? What do you think about this?

Crypto investment is an individual choice, not for everyone. Those who understand will gain trust and invest but those who keep in doubt will remain negative and always think negatively.

That person OP is not lazy, he/she is just another person who has no courage to take risks. And instead of keeping their mouths shut, they always spread fake news and baseless information making other people also afraid.

Anyway, there is no need to listen to such a claim, they know nothing. It is too hard to convince such thinking because what they believe now which is wrong actually has been right for them and they will continue to push their wrong thoughts about cryptocurrency.

Actually i think it depends, because for me I don't find crypto investment being exhausting, is only those people who go about it the wrong way that will find crypto investment being exhausting. more especially those beginners who has chosen not to learn about how crypto investment works, before looking out to invest probably after experiencing lose in the market for some time so at this point they will find crypto Investment being exhausting to them. most of them can even consider it being a scam.without knowing that the reason why they keep experiencing lose in the market is because they failed to learn about how crypto investment works before looking out to invest.

These words are not mine, but from someone who always bothered me about crypto lectures, I am surprised that he is giving up, some truth does present in what he said but ....

I guess he is just lazy? Or he want something different all along?

I think crypto isn't for everyone, some won't just be able to cope with crypto investment, maybe because they are lazy asses or they need to be elsewhere to make their money? What do you think about this?

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?
Why the constant vigilance and the negative psychological factors afflicted him? If he is a long-term investor holding his assets in an offline hardware wallet, what is the need to trust people or anything else? And why worry? If he keeps the security methods for accessing his wallet in a safe place, then he has his own bank and is the primary controller of his assets. Indeed, this field is highly targeted by scammers, as no project or community is devoid of them, and certainly, any of the other financial sectors will also be targeted. Still, with the necessary experience, knowledge, and safer alternatives to secure his investment assets, there is no need to worry.

Laziness, giving up, and making quick decisions are undoubtedly reasons for failure. The successful person in this field is the one who has the key to patience, knows the positives to give him momentum forward, and can overcome any negatives with his experience and continuous learning. Doing research on cryptocurrencies is not impossible or tiring, and anyone can do it. There are no profits and successes without spending some time and effort.

Run as it goes and don't get tired here. That's why you have to decide yourself carefully because if you discuss these things with others, they can harm you. Maybe doing the same job every day is a bit boring but we must have respect and love for that job.

As you are tired of these investment topics then I suggest you to follow the posts of users who have faced huge losses for about three to four years and have trusted their investments for this long time for motivation. And they held on and now they have come and succeeded. You can also trust the investment like them and create a little more excitement in your mind that you will do well from here on out so it will show that you are not disappointed here.

For me I don't believe that crypto investment is stressful, though it depends on the kind of investment you venture into that would stress you that much because if we evaluate trading and holding is only trading that could possibly give you the kind of stress you are talking about, so i would agree with you if you meant trading because is actually very stressful and time consuming because like you said all the time you will be watching the market looking for any opportunity to buy and is actually risky that's why is not my kind of investment because I love holding and one of the good thing about it is that there is no any mental stress because all you will do is just to map out your pattern of investment weather weekly or monthly so when it gets to the time you just buy and hold, so actually the stress is just from your pattern of investment.

Why not? Lots of challenges you need to face here so for sure there would be a lot of stressful events you will encounter especially if some of your expectation didn't come in some scenarios you are waiting for.

That's why you need to learn and by reading a lot of information is stressful since you need to deal with a lot of article either a misleading one or a good one so you need to be emotionally ready when it comes on crypto investments. What only exhausting there when you lose since for sure you will call all the saints or ask for help to people around you especially if that lose you encounter is devastating which cost something huge and you are going to be broke after that bad experiences.

I am tired, I got out of crypto because of the constant vigilance that crypto requires from me, it is too exhausting.

You can't trust anyone, you can't trust anything, all you have to keep doing is keep verifying everything, but for how long?

To keep your crypto assets safer they said you need a hardware wallet, as if this is the end to the worry, only to start guiding your recovery seed again.

You don't need to be tired because it is not just cryptocurrency that has so much responsibilities to be done for your asset to be in a safer hands. Even the money you have you put it in safe place which you don't expose it to people that are even close to you. You store your money in the bank and their are still roles you play for the money to intact which you need to keep some important details that scammers won't take as an advantage.  You need to understand that anything that is valuable their is a lot to be done to keep it safe from fraudsters.  Every asset needs to be secure and if it is handled in a careless manner you can loose it.

The reason why cryptocurrency (bitcoin) seems to have more attention for it to be safe is that any mistake of exposing your seed phrase scammers can get advantage to your asset. I don't even see anything too difficult protecting your bitcoin,  it is just about using a good wallet and keeping you private keys safe from the eyes of strangers and nothing too serious about it.

Crypto is for everyone but depends on how strong he can holds his crypto until the time he sells his crypto. Not all people can do that as many people can feels tired to holds their crypto while waiting for the time to sell. We don't knows why they keep saying like that while other people can enjoy their time hold their crypto.

I already seen some people who said that they can not holds their crypto anymore and decided to sell it immediately. They can not manage their emotion to see the market is at the low while they know that crypto market can be at that position. These people doesn't have a strong hand to still hold their crypto and doesn't wants to hold for longer.

If you decided to invest in crypto, you already research what and how and you will not complain for anything. You knows that every investment will be like that which needs to have a waiting time before you can sell it. You only needs to manage your emotion while you watch crypto market moves but in this crypto investment, you doesn't have to watch the market all day long. You can only watch it periodically because you use the investment sides and not trading sides.

Crypto investment is a very stressful matter. Checking the market all the time, keeping the private key, seed phrase secure, verifying all things, these seem boring after a while. A mental stress works all the time, no matter where you are at night sleep or family program. So currently I have withdrawn from the investment.

This is the sort of behavior you see from people who have forced themselves into the cryptocurrency market they don't have a general interest in cryptocurrencies but they have only got into it because they have heard people saying that they can earn money if they make investments in cryptocurrencies, and they got into it only for the bucks. Now when they have seen it's not as easy as drinking water, they start behaving this way.

When you say that the cryptocurrency market isn't for everyone, you are not wrong, it is definitely not for people who are not interested in cryptocurrencies but have joined the market only for money, and such people will barely try to learn much about the market because they will only be in a rush to start earning money.

Crypto can be exhausting to those who put their hopes on crypto for their financial breakthrough and steady income. Not for those who don't put their hope on crypto as a means to be financially free or have a steady income through her.
They should know that getting into crypto investment isn't going to be as easy as the others can be. IMHO, there's no difference even at all with investing in stocks because you need to come prepared with what you buy there as well and it's not going to give you that steady income everyday.

Those who have the stated mindset of "being financially free and steady income" are the ones to be feeling exhausted to keep hodling onto their crypto assets for how long before they can achieve the main reason why they chose crypto investment in the first place.
I agree and that's because they're putting too much hope on it. And when they see that their asset isn't doing well today, that's going to stress them out. Being knowledgeable or know what you are investing plays a big part on how you'll be able to overcome that exhaustion.

So many newbies have entered into the crypto space for the wrong reasons. They perceived crypto as a get-rich scheme. Once they are not getting what they have presumed, they begin to feel discouraged and ask for how long will they continue to hodl their crypto assets.
Exactly. They come in because they've seen someone or a crypto influencer that have shared their profits and thought that it's going to be the same to them without doing any research. They've been welcomed with the wrong mindset and that's why they're discouraged upon seeing the flash crashes that they are not expecting.

Cryptocurrency business and manual business which one of them is more less stressful, you know some people don't know that manual business always be stressful, someone who don't know of cryptocurrency very well will say cryptocurrency is stressful, if you want to make a profit in cryptocurrency investment make sure you invest when the market is fluctuating, because market that fluctuates their is every Tendency that the market maybe of good condition later run, so I prefer watching the market seriously before venturing into cryptocurrency investment.

The essence of keeping your private keys intact or your seed phrase to a place where someone can not see them, is due to security measures, from my perspective it's advisable ensure that you have not reviewed your seed phrase to the public base on security measures as emphasize above.

Everybody cannot be a pilot or a dancer, same thing with cryptocurrency, we're here because we find passion in the crypto industry, so the OP friend is not necessarily lazy because crypto processes bores him, you'd be surprised that what he likes might be boring to you. Except for crypto trading that requires special skills like knowing fundamental and technical analysis, I think that crypto investments are quite easy, that is if you're holding a reputable long term cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, all you need to do is keep your seed phrase in a secured please and listen to crypto news.
On a second thought, you are actually correct because different people with different passions. Everyone cannot love and invest in cryptocurrency irrespective of how beautiful and lucrative cryptocurrency may appear. So if the person in question lost his passion as in cryptocurrency, he will not be committing any crime quitting long term investment in cryptocurrency and exploring other areas. Indeed not everyone can be a holder for a long term, I don't know if it is a personality something, but it so happen that some people are more inclined to trading rather than holding for long. However, it is still more relaxing and more profitable to hold Bitcoin (not all cryptocurrency) for long.

If they are here to get rich quick, definitely it will be exhausting for them most especially that crypto market is certainly unpredictable. The more they put their hopes up, the more the market becomes more challenging. However, if you are here to learn and earn as a bonus, and you are simply enjoying hodling with your coins in a long term without hustling to get an income, then you will never feel exhausted but more on seeing crypto investment being calm as it slowly give you unexpected profits while hodling for long term.

Given up is by choice and I think people given up are actually people that chose altcoin and wants quick returns.

If you value your privacy, you will know the importance of all these steps to keep your asset safe.

Cryptocurrency can be stressful if you chose altcoins or shitcoins, but if you wants to be completely free and safe with both your privacy and your assets, then use that same hardware wallet to invest in Bitcoin, then save your seed phrase for future and your asset(Bitcoin) will be safe.

There are several acquaintances of mine who very often talk about new projects. he loves researching new projects and investing in such projects in early sales. but finally, he gave up after investing several times in scam projects that did not return his investment money.
I think my acquaintance is not lazy. he is very selective in the projects he researches, but there may be a mistake that destroys him and finally gives up.

I have also felt that around 500 BUSD disappeared, a real project but no development and ended up being a shitcoin. Recommendations from friends too and coincidentally close friends too. But what can I say, the boss left without leaving any news. This is the bitter pill, the intention is to help us progress quickly, but instead we are the ones who suffer losses. For local projects, I think it's better to think about it before investing.

I think people with that type are not lazy, but people with great panic. he will always feel anxious about his investment assets to the point of not being able to sleep soundly.
I think he is not the type of person who is calm in investing. he can analyze and do research. but when it comes to making plans, he panics very easily.

People with that type want small risks and don't have the adrenaline to take bigger risks. just suggest to him to save his money in the bank. of course, an official bank guaranteed by the government, that will give him peace of mind.

Actually those words comes from a person that does not know deeply what he had entered instead they are just being lured inside crypto for single purpose and that is to make money(The Easy way)

this is why they are not ready to face those difficulties and not ready in sideways specially the security and the risk of losing its value for a certain occasions .

and also  crypto si for everyone(but everyone that knows to dig first before grabbing the opportunity of making money because this needs time and challenges)

Your friend is not lazy just that he doesn't fit in the crypto industry. You know one thing about we humans, what I like is not what you like we all have our different likes and dislikes so even if he was pressurized to invest on crypto and he/she finds out the step to secure his/her asset isn't comfortable it's okay for the person quit and that doesn't mean the person is lazy. There are other investment that offers huge returns it mustn't be crypto investment.

Exactly, most people who do crypto and also invest in Bitcoin think that is the only way to make life and they believe that other investment are not worthy or is nothing to compare with Bitcoin, yes we know Bitcoin is a nice place to invest but that doesn't mean everyone will join it because you are into. Everybody can not go to one church because they have different belief and principles and whether the church is good or bad that shouldn't be your problem the aim is to make the kingdom of God likewise investment whether Bitcoin or not the main aim is to make money.

Not everyone could fit into crypto, there are people that are always making mistakes and are not ready to follow the rules.
It is true that we can always make money from the crypto space but sometimes the process can be very long.
The rules could be too much for some persons that is why we need to try as much as possible to ensure that we go and follow the right pass that others have been following making something from the market. Fund us quite needed to make money from the crypto space.

I understand. But the monitoring of your seed phrase is so much important because if you just lost it then your investment is wasted. Even though you don't want to know the price in the market but safeguarding your wallet with the seed phrase is sacrosanct. I have lost my first Eloncoin wallet seed phrase and I lost everything, there was no way to retrieve the wallet again so I lost those coins.

But I have not seen people giving up on cryptocurrency by investment because they are tired of the monitoring the coins..and what I have seen is that I have seen someone who was tired to wait for the bitcoin to rise and he sold them when bitcoin was still in the bear market.

Till now very sure that people still don’t understand the value of them keeping their seed phrase safe until they lose it that is when they will know how important. It is to keep your seed phrase safe. That is the number one rule keeping your seed phrase safe because operating a wallet system of saving your asset. Keeping your funds in an exchange is not advisable. And if you don’t have access to your seed phrase then your investment might be at risk because of exposure. Everyone one way or the other have experienced losing their seed phrase so everyone that have that experience have learnt from it and am sure they will definitely keep their seed phrase safe because of the experience.

People enjoy monitoring their investments especially when they are making profits they will want to make more profits so they will make monitoring an habit, the fact is that people that have tested profits will take their market observations seriously so as to want to make profits rather than seat and complain about the price of bitcoin going up and down.

I guess it's trading which is not for everyone and not the crypto investment because we have seen people getting fed up of reading and usually quit after losing it all but I haven't seen any investors saying these things because they know any Investment takes time to give returns or maybe the person you are referring here started investing under guidance of someone who promoted crypto as get rich quick scheme.

As long as cryptocurrency is concerned there's always a risk be it trading or not there's still risk on it, unlike as you said that you haven't seen any investors that get fed up due to the bad experience they had in the market, you know most people after experiencing lose in the market they will just pretend like nothing happened so you don't expect them to work up to you and start telling you about the bad experience they had from crypto investment. however I think we just need to be careful and also we shouldn't forget to make research before taking any decision even if you're been referred by someone very close to you, but we should always try and understand how crypto investment works before looking out to make Investment.

Your friend is lazy!
Funny how your friend is saying the opposite of Satoshi saying you have to trust but no, you don't to trust any person in crypto, you should always verify to clear any doubts on your head. It just sad that your friend isn't too prestige with the ways of Bitcoin or should I say cryptocurrency but if he is tired of all he is doing, he can do the opposite and keep his coin on exchanges so he doesn't have to worry about anything but the day the exchange run away with his money, he better shut his mouth and let's that pain sink than what he experiencing right now.

There is no feeling owing everything about your coin to yourself, you don't have to trust anyone to keep your coins, history has shown us that it's bad not trust exchanges and that's why cold storages remain the best. What's the stress in backing up your seed phrase in a safe location? He is better doing other things than been in crypto space.

I guess is for your own good, so that anytime someone want to try to hack your wallet on your behalf, it will be difficult for the person to succeed through verification.

Until you have the knowledge on how to ignore scammers in the industry, because there are many scammers in the crypto industry which they have different ways of scamming people but if you have the knowledge, it will be difficult for you to fall victims to their plan.

I guess hardware wallet is a safe wallet, but the end of worry is to keep your seeds phrase safe because the day someone have access to your seed phrase, it will be easy for the person to empty your wallet which is the reason you need to write them down in different places in case anything happen to one, you can use the remaining one to achieve your coins back.

Indeed, cold wallets are still identical without double-layer a2fa, but I think it is now available even though it is not evenly distributed and is a new feature. I admit that it is easier to change wallets or store more in 1 place, even though it is tiring but simple with phrases that I can save or discard periodically to secure crypto assets as best as possible. Security is the most important, because sometimes I am careless for minutes even if I import to another wallet with the same phrase there is no notification, because I really control myself on any wallet.

Also altcoin trends almost some people have crypto that has not been listed, or accepts no minimum. Non-custodial and cold wallets are very important. Indeed, there are many crimes that occur that cause trauma if you are too rash on the internet with random links. But behind the vulnerability of this type of wallet is the best and safest, including the sending fee is very cheap than the exchanger wallet.

Someone who has been involved in the crypto world for a long time will ignore all these words and consider them as poison that can turn off other people's interest in continuing to learn about Crypto and explore ways of investing that are free from all risks. When you can manage your own money, why should you involve other people to entrust your assets to be managed by them? This comparison will also lead to the amount of results that will be obtained afterwards.

When you feel that you are close enough to investing in crypto and have learned all the ins and outs starting from the level of risk and investment strategies, you will still adhere to the basic principles of saving money in your own way. As long as you are able to guard the Seed phrase well without anyone knowing, your assets remain safe there.

Getting tired due to safeguarding his investments simply shows that he’s not a responsible investor. He just want to be easy on his investment, and blame crypto in the future if he ended up losing his seed phrase and lost all his coins. However, it’s rare to see this kind of crypto investors in the market.

Crypto investment may only be exhausting if in reality, you aren’t sure of what you are doing. But if you are determined and highly motivated to maximize your crypto investment and wants to ensure all its safety, getting tired and exhausted have never rooms in crypto.

Cryptocurrency is actually not for everybody!
You can’t still control or convince anyone into cryptocurrency or to stay if they feel like leaving, all they need yo know is the main idea behind Bitcoin itself.

I am very sure that most of these people willing to leave are leaving just because they couldn’t meet their greedy target of making money within short period of time; they are leaving because they have seen the reality behind it which involves patience and commitment. Therefore, do not kill your self just to convince someone, to do crypto.

I totally agree with you crypto investment is not for everybody is just for those that are willing to take the risk, there are some people who are not ready to go into crypto investment, but due to the stories they Heard about how people get profited from  crypto investment they just dive into crypto investment without even acquiring the knowledge about crypto investment, maybe after experiencing lose in the market they will start telling people that crypto investment is a scam.

I think crypto isn't for everyone, some won't just be able to cope with crypto investment, maybe because they are lazy asses or they need to be elsewhere to make their money? What do you think about this?

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?
Cryptocurrency is actually not for everybody!
You can’t still control or convince anyone into cryptocurrency or to stay if they feel like leaving, all they need yo know is the main idea behind Bitcoin itself.

I am very sure that most of these people willing to leave are leaving just because they couldn’t meet their greedy target of making money within short period of time; they are leaving because they have seen the reality behind it which involves patience and commitment. Therefore, do not kill your self just to convince someone, to do crypto.

These words are not mine, but from someone who always bothered me about crypto lectures, I am surprised that he is giving up, some truth does present in what he said but ....

I guess he is just lazy? Or he want something different all along?

I can feel the pain of that person and sincerely, all the points raised are valid. I have been in such a situation where I was overwhelmed by the burden of having to worry about when to enter the market, where to store my asset and how to properly protect them against loss and theft. Choosing wallet was also another challenge as I started with blockchain.com that was later revealed to be unsafe. It was when I started being active in this forum I learnt about other wallets thereafter the issue of wallet was laid to rest but there was still the issue of knowing when to buy and when to sell. I did not start as a long term holder, so the anxiety of price spikes was always there.

One of the nice things I learnt about this forum is how to buying using the DCA method that lead me to a rapid change of plans from short term to long term holding. Since I started using the DCA method, the worry of when to buy magically vanished and I no longer thing about selling. As for storage, I have not bought a hardware wallet, I still use of othe self custodian wallet.

We need to understand that crypto investment is not for everyone. There are people that do not have the patience to wait for the market to recover before they take their projects and this has been a major problem many gamblers are facing. It is very important for us to weigh what we are investing into so we don't finally lose funds due to impatience. All investors must have the patience to make money and it will be wise for us to always put our fund where we are going to be seeing returns. We have to invest what we are certain we can afford to lose. Cryptocurrency is volatile and we need to get prepared for the market turbulence or else we might keep thinking that the price of Bitcoin will keep going bullish when it is still ranging.

You just need to take a break, don't watch the market all the time and don't look at your wallet balance every 2 hours, you sure don't need to do all of that all the time. Don't be too crazy about your bitcoin and just being aware on what you're clicking or downloading is probably enough to make sure that you're not getting your bitcoin stolen, also think of your wallet like how you treat your physical wallet, hide it somewhere that's out of the eyes of many people and you're already set in terms of security, just don't join in giveaways that are too good to be true, it's not that difficult to do that and most of them are voluntary things that you can do, you can probably get away with just buying bitcoin and putting it in your wallet and then leaving it behind for the next month when you accumulate again, that's it. Take it easy and you'd be fine.

Cryptocurrency is risky and we should be careful at all times.nCrypto is not a get rich quick scheme, rather its always a top notch to smell interesting winnings and never backing down from the realization of making enormous profits. Crypto investment is exhausting? Really? Because if something is generating money for you, I see no reason why you should complain other than focusing on that particular project doing the necessary stands to prove one to be winning.

But I have not seen people giving up on cryptocurrency investment because they are tired of the monitoring the coins..and what I have seen is that I have seen someone who was tired to wait for the bitcoin to rise and he sold them when bitcoin was still in the bear market.

Been there, done that. Most of these folks are excited and interested when the bull run is there but talk with them during the bears, they'd show no interest.

The reason is laziness, because people lack accuracy, and they understand this very well.
This is true.

They're lazy, they think that money grows on the trees and they just want to take quick cash.
I guess we all have experienced that feeling that crypto investment can be highly exhausting, the difference is that we manage to overcome that stage, while most of the newbies these days only get excited at the beginning but lose their interest in the middle of the process.

Aside from laziness, I can see that new investors these days are not highly determined and motivated to succeed on their investment. Or they only find great motivation at first, but seeing how uncertain the crypto market is, they end up quitting and leave the market before they’ll incur too much losses.

I guess he is just lazy? Or he want something different all along?

Calling him lazy isn't the appropriate word to use on him because he's just human expressing his concern and even if it doesn't make any sense to you it still doesn't mean he's lazy, like you did mentioned crypto actually isn't for everyone and some only get into crypto because they were told it could get them rich so quick so when they eventually get to the point they find out that its way beyond just getting into crypto and you are goin to be rich almost immediately  you see them getting exhausted and burning out already because their expectations are not met almost immediately hence they will just literarily start to complain or make excuses to get them to regret ever getting into crypto but then beyond that if they could exercise some more patient they would eventually get to the point they will eventually get rich as they have envisioned.

Investing in crypto in the real sense isn't for carefree and lazy people who are impatient because investing in crypto actually gets you to be able to get all this in place else yo wouldn't be able to keep up long enough in the crypto space to be able to get as much money as you could from crypto. most crypto investment requires you are patient enough with the process and with time you eventually get to be able to make good money off it as well as you been able to getting used to the whole process and the dynamics of crypto. Duse to the profitability of crypto deals especially when done well, they eventually get to be a major target for fraudster and other hackers online which calls for the vigilance and several security on your asset which will mean you shouldn't be lazy or even nonchalant about the security of your asset else you will eventually get to losoe them to some of these fraudsters and hackers.

The only people that I see from getting tired on investing on cryptocurrencies are the people who did not do any prior research before such investment and they are the ones who complain when the price dips after they purchased it on ATH.

I really find it funny and ironic that the people who complain that BTC is a "bubble" are the very same people who failed on their BTC investments. Just because that they failed does not equate that BTC is a whole "scam" or "scheme" as others may say.

I guess he is just lazy? Or he want something different all along?

Some might to lazy but to be sincere I dont blame those who believe cryptocurrency investment to be exhausting and it's true unless we want to lie to ourselves because 90% of all crypto investors had enough sleep ever since they joined the space while the remaining percent that dont know about the market opportunities had 6-8hours sleep.
if there's no creation of bots that ease the working of some traders and investors the exhausting level will be more than what we're seeing now.

Literally, HODL means holding your coins for a designated time. You have total control over your BTCs (as long as you have your private keys) and you decide whether you should liquidate them or not.

Do not sweat on these things- investments are called "investments" for a reason. Nothing is guaranteed and profit-making is not absolute; exercise caution and diligence in order to maximize every opportunity especially during forks or bull runs.

Sometimes not investing the actually money that would keep giving us profits could make everything exhausting.
People want to make money from cryptocurrency but the problem is that they are scared to out their funds into crypto.
Fear could be one of the reasons why many people keep getting fade up about cryptocurrency.
The market is very volatile and one would have to keep holding for as long as possible so we can actually make profits from the market.

But I also tell the reward with them and maybe there is one or two member who consider crypto as farming money, In your case I believe he get exhausted because all privacy stuff but those are simple IMO you don't need a hardware wallet or verify anything just by doing a double wallet one for cold that need to verify everything but use very little activity and a hot wallet with less money and you can use anything anywhere no need 2fa and use for daily use that it

It just proves that crypto investment leaves different impact to everyone. Some just find it hard only at first but then get used to it and finally like and embrace the nature of crypto investment. While others continue to become pressured until they become completely exhausted and leave crypto finally.

Unfortunately, crypto investment is not for everyone most especially to those who have weak hands and easily get bothered and emotional when they see their investments consistently drops its price. Otherwise, if they won’t leave crypto earlier, they might suffer heart attack while seeing their portfolio losing their value.

One thing you must know is that Cryptocurrency is not for everybody if he can't cope he should leave  and again everybody must not survive or make money through crypto even with the evidence that people are making money on crypto many people don't still trust and like crypto and I guess he is among those that don't like Cryptocurrency. Some people are so lazy to an extent  of waiting for someone to come and put food in their mouth. However, crypto is exhausting yes, but my question is there anywhere they chase money and it is easy before you feed or eat in this life you must strive, suffer, hustle etc, most of the thing that gives one tough time there's always a smile at the end.

It’s certain that crypto investment is really tiring and exhausting, most especially if you are just here to invest for quick and immediate profits. That simply proves that you don’t really understand how crypto investment works and how it will be more profitable if you are just willing to hold and secure your coins 24/7.

I guess no real investment is easier and quicker to reap its profits. You have to exert time and efforts to understand your investment and how it will possibly work. And that’s normal to see mistakes and losses at first since you are still in the process of learning, but eventually if you are just patient and more positive on your investment, you will overcome those risks and pressures and succeed in the end. Crypto is never an exception, it needs a lot of patience and understanding in order to make it work and profitable.

I believe he got overwhelmed by the amount of information that he needs to learn in order to keep his cryptocurrencies safe.
Lazy? It might be, but if that's the case then I don't think that he's exhausted at all. Based on your story, I believe that the fact that he can't trust anybody is one reason why he don't want to get himself involved with crypto anymore.

Crypto isn't for everyone that's for sure. I can still remember the times when I see the market going down double-digit percentage in a single day, and that makes me nervous - but that was when I was a newbie. I did some research back then and I learned that it's a pretty common thing in crypto. Other investors can't take that thing, and they might make wrong decisions just because they see the market and their portfolio down double-digit percentage in a single day. As for your "friend" (I assume), I guess that's the downside when you aren't putting your assets into one single company or establishment like when you put your money in your bank. You're the one that needs to keep your coins safe, and it's your responsibility to keep it safe.

Being lazy sometimes work in crypto. How? Just buy cryptocurrencies, store it in a safe wallet like a hardware wallet, and if you're lazy looking at the markets on a daily basis then that might decrease your chances of making some wrong decisions. I've seen investors who are panicking just because they're looking at the markets on a daily basis, and they saw the market being down by a huge percentage. Smiley

The reason is laziness, because people lack accuracy, and they understand this very well. All the points that are described on behalf of the “tired” speak about this. Is it difficult to buy a hardware wallet? What is the need to regularly monitor the market if you are only a holder? How much more worry about having a seed phrase if you once found a good place for it? Such people can live with their doors open, trust banks, and, in case of any troubles happening to them, blame everyone but themselves. Lack of responsibility for your life at the highest level. Well, it's their choice. We know many who, according to documents, are adults, but in their heads they are still a mother’s son.

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?

Unfortunately, there are those who believe that investing in cryptocurrencies (or in the stock market in general) is a quick free profit, without taking into account all the necessary requirements for that, the most important of which are the necessary precautions to protect assets in addition to acquiring skills to trade according to strategies and plans that require... Knowledge and training.

It is also unfortunate to admit that trading platforms are no longer satisfied with the role of providing trading or swap services, but rather have gone beyond it to perform additional functions for users who are unable to achieve them on their own. Cryptocurrency exchanges today are no different from stock exchanges, as they now enable users to try trading strategies (demo accounts) with the possibility of integrating bot functions, without forgetting the possibility of using the account itself for cold storage for those who want to invest in the long term.
Without all these services provided by the stock exchanges, it is certain that the majority of current users in the investment market would not have continued their investment experience, and would most likely have changed their investment fields because it is not, in fact, a field that is within everyone’s reach in all respects.

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?
Yes.

I've got friends in real life who have made a profit in crypto and they spent a lot of time researching this. But after some time, all of their minds have changed because they've sold and missed the dip.

But good thing that I am seeing from them today is they're going back. So, if anyone that you know came out from the market, the time will come that they're going to come back because there is no other market like the crypto market they'll see opportunities as the same.

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?
I did not seen so many people involved in crypto so how can I see ones giving up haha, well, the points that the person used to leave crypto sector are legit but first we have to understand is, investing in crypto is not a child play, you have to remain up to date in order to know what is ongoing in the crypto field. For example, you want to use X platform but using it after a long time, first you have to see if there is anything wrong about it or not, like many people used mixer after long time but first they did not confirmed if they are live or not and end up being scammed (I prefer to use the term scammed).

So remaining up to date is not going to safe you from such scams but you will know a lot about crypto, the more you know the more investment opportunities you will find. Its like a hobby, I used to read news more but don't share them with other a lot. As consuming these news gives me more knowledge about the market thus opens new investment opportunities. Nothin is easy in this world if you think you can make free money in crypto with no efforts then you are wrong.

My cousin (younger than me) said you join airdrops and invest money in crypto that's effortless, you are doing no work in here. I first thought from where I should start my answer but I knew he would not understand until I will show him, so if he will ask again then I will show him till then he have to live what I have told him that I have to put my efforts and have to spend a lot of time in the market or on laptop.

This sounds like the reason why we advise newcomers to stay away from altcoins. They get overwhelmed by a lot of useless junk in what they call "crypto investment" and almost always lose a lot of money which is even worse when you have put a lot of effort and spent a lot of time on it.

They should just stick to bitcoin and then if they wanted more they could try trading altcoins a little bit (not invest, but trade only). That way they can get their hands dirty while not getting overwhelmed. At the same time by keeping it small they reduce the risk of big losses.

I think that your analysis makes a lot of sense, newbies that are starting out into the crypto market should concentrate on investing in Bitcoin, because it is not a scam cryptocurrency. If they understands how it works that it is a long term project, then they can do DCA method, and take profit during peak of bull run. They should also understand that investing in altcoins, especially new projects that have not gained reputation are risky, it takes experience to research and take chances to buy them, also altcoins are better to trade than investing, provided the newbie understands it's fundamental and technical analysis.

Profit is a motivating factor when you are in any business, so if someone that has invested in cryptocurrency and have been having loses, that can make them to lose interest. Even if it's a business that someone doesn't like, the prospect of making profits in it can make the person to remain, but most altcoins are scams, so newbies are better off with Bitcoin, that they're sure of it's profitability.

Nothing good comes easily and all these hard wallets and protection of seed phrases are just to grant your assets full security and privacy so it shouldn't be exhausting. We need to understand that cryptocurrency needs a lot of patience but just like he said there are times when everything seems tiring though it's even more relaxing for anyone who focuses in making investments instead of trading because the trading aspects of cryptos is hell because staying glued to how the market is going and using different signals to know the actual time to trade is not easy but when you devote more time studying about cryptocurrency everything will look so easier for you the only thing I don't like about trading is that it consumes a lot of time.

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?

I have a friend who told me that he would never cryptocurrencies because they are not backed by any deposit insurance corporation. He referred me to commercial banks that are insured so that no depositor will lose funds in case of bankruptcy. However, the fact is that cryptocurrencies are not for everybody because some people don't want to learn anything new or innovative. They are comfortable with fiat and its operations. These persons are careless about privacy or decentralization. There is another set of people who are interested in cryptos but they don't want to have custody of them. They think that keeping cryptocurrencies is too risky and complicated. This is the reason why many of them prefer to invest in the sector through third parties like ETFs.

OP maybe your friend needs some level of motivation not because learning something new is frustrating. I think he should know more about the benefits of crypto as well as the dangers of centralization. He would appreciate cryptos when the government seizes his funds or places some restrictions on his bank account.

In my opinion, they are not lazy because they must have tried, meaning they have the intention to start and must have done a little research regarding the coins they will invest in. They are not lazy but I think they lack patience. Investing in crypto requires being patient, not panicking, and continuing to look at ongoing developments and moments.

You may feel desperate to find the next big investment opportunity, but the Whales have enough capital to sit on the sidelines for two years or more waiting for the right time to strike. They can easily survive a bear market, with losses, for years.

In other words, rich investors can take several years of losses to get rid of weak HODLers. If you don't have patience and knowledge about this, then you will always buy on the wrong side of the market. If you are patient enough to wait even a full year to buy in bearish conditions or HODL until the next bull run, then you will make huge profits and it is a good long-term cryptocurrency investment.

When someone truly understand their weakness, they can turn it into strength. What I mean in essence is that I was once like the person who made this statement when I joined the cryptocurrency industry. But the difference between myself and the complainant is that I decided not to give up and started learning about accuracy, precision and the cool headedness. On the long run it has helped my personal life. I am no longer a carefree someone, I am now good in safe keeping of items and before I make transaction I will have to cross check very well, this has translated into my real life that I am now a good gentleman. What one has to do is to face their fears and it will no longer be a horror.
Cryptocurrency has so much to do with confidence, security and precision. If you are to be your own bank, atleast be ready to do 20% of what banks do to secure people's money.

I think crypto isn't for everyone, some won't just be able to cope with crypto investment, maybe because they are lazy asses or they need to be elsewhere to make their money? What do you think about this?

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?
I think open to all, only those who are not greedy can survive here, those who invest without understanding are actually donkeys. Greedy people and those who are donkeys usually lose money in investments. All those people who do not value a single work are going back from life altogether. No matter where you invest, no matter where you go to do anything, you have to give it time, you have to be patient, then you will succeed, otherwise  you will never succeed. Those who only think that if I invest today, I will get profit soon, then they are wrong. Whether you're into crypto currency or not, there's no rush to succeed in life. I think investing in crypto currency is only done by people who lose money by investing in different random coins hoping to get more for less because of greed, some people doing the same thing over and over are the ones giving up on crypto currency. You have to have the mindset to adapt to anything in life, you have to have strong morale then you will get success from there.

Such "friends" would have saved a lot of time in their lives if someone had asked them a simple question at the beginning of everything: "Are you ready to be your own bank?" Anyone who answers negatively to that question should simply go in another direction - because the chances of making a wrong step at some point are really high.

The hardest thing is when you invest money in something you don't really have a clue about - and you watch various influencers and read articles from journalists who don't know the difference between Bitcoin and blockchain. It's really a combination that can cause stress in a lot of people, and living every day in fear and doubt about something that should be quite simple is definitely not recommended.

There is no shame in giving up, and the reasons why someone decides to take such a step are not even important. It is important to let people decide for themselves what they want to do in life, especially if it is about their money.

Have you seen people giving up on crypto after they spent some time doing research on crypto and even investing?

I have one that I teach or I become a mentor on him. It was before the pandemic, before the last bull run that pushes the price of Bitcoin to $69k. And then the pandemic strikes, never heard of him again. Until in the last week or so, he went back to our place and goes back to the house the he used to rent.

And so we have a lot to talk and that includes investment in Bitcoin and crypto in general. He mentioned that he did profited in the last bull run. But he didn't invest in this latest cycle as he was tired and exhausted as what you have describe. So maybe there are individuals who are not that 'consistent' to invest here and even though they have a great experience, they give up very easily.

I met some of my friends like that. although I'm not sure if they finally came out or not they revealed things that made them tired regarding crypto as you mentioned. especially those who don't know this forum.
I'm just saying maybe they're not ready for crypto investment. having capital does not necessarily mean they can invest. because investment is related to plans. Just being patient is not enough to make a profit.

I believe he does not get what he want or didn't see the cryptocurrency journey as he heard about it. We did not have the same mindset before we started our crypto trading, could you believe that many people start crypto trading because they have heard that a lot of people make money through cryptocurrency, and they don't realize the losses they went through before they could make profits in investing. Those reasons have nothing to do with why he wants to quit cryptocurrencies, maybe he doesn't want you to know the truth and throw that lie to you, so you don't bother asking any further questions. Many people did not have the patience to continue with cryptocurrency, possibly the person believed that at his age, he should be earning more than the profit he was making from cryptocurrency trading.

Crypto trading is not for everyone, but I have never seen someone give up on crypto after spending their time learning. However, this does not seem strange to me because a lot of people have joined this forum and given up. After all, the place is not how they believe it is, so some people may still give up on crypto for many reasons, or they have another source of income that is more profitable than crypto.

Actually there are some people who have not profited from crypto investment since they started this crypto journey,  so at this point it becomes a waste of time to them and also confusing at same time. but I think those Investor's who have been profiting from crypto investment will never find it exhausting. of course anything that bring profit should be take serous but those who don't have the understanding can see it the other way round.

Cryptocurrency investment isn't firstly, for everyone
Even for those who trade often or invest often,  there will always be a time when it becomes boring and confusing because of the information flowing in excess or the inability to follow up on the important updates.

Knowing that the process involved in cryptocurrency investment and trading is in stages, the stages should first be mastered so it is in the finger tips. The stages am referring to is knowing safety practices for our wallets, knowing the market seasons and understanding price indicators, knowing when to leverage or stop loss or diversify to avoid loss and more; comes with much study, patience and experience which cannot be gotten elsewhere other than by practice no matter how consistent one is.

This could be one of the most silly excuses, he isn't lazy rather he doesn't know what he wants for himself. In this life we are living, nothing comes too easy and there is always a price to pay but for him calling it a stress to store his wealth on a secured wallet and keeping the recovery seed safe is now a bigger problem that should trigger him to quit is even worst than being lazy. And perhaps, is he referring to crypto Altcoins or Bitcoin? In Bitcoin there is no stress involved just a simple matter of Buy and Hold in a secured wallet no need of monitoring the market.

I guess he is just lazy?
How does it sound if you an investor in cryptocurrency is called lazy by someone who is investing in stocks just because you have not invested in stocks with them? it sounds misinformed.

I think crypto isn't for everyone, some won't just be able to cope with crypto investment, maybe because they are lazy asses or they need to be elsewhere to make their money? What do you think about this?
I do not see any problem with someone wanting something different other than cryptocurrency. There are many options for investment and since the goal is all to make money, whichever one is comfortable for you is all right to invest in be it physical or digital assets. You are not lazy if you cannot cope with investing in cryptocurrency, it is maybe just a big sign that maybe investing in cryptocurrency is not for you or maybe you should pursue your interest elsewhere.

Bad experiences like being scammed in cryptocurrency can really discourage someone from cryptocurrency forever, some people do not have that ability to get themselves backup and start investing again, they just give up on cryptocurrency entirely.

Everybody cannot be a pilot or a dancer, same thing with cryptocurrency, we're here because we find passion in the crypto industry, so the OP friend is not necessarily lazy because crypto processes bores him, you'd be surprised that what he likes might be boring to you. Except for crypto trading that requires special skills like knowing fundamental and technical analysis, I think that crypto investments are quite easy, that is if you're holding a reputable long term cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, all you need to do is keep your seed phrase in a secured please and listen to crypto news.

if he doesn't like crypto, why did he learn it in the first place? does he think that when he learns crypto it can make him rich? because usually these types of people are those who can't wait to get rich with crypto and they want to get rich quickly, but in the process they find it quite complicated to understand and in the end they give up.

these are the types of people who usually regret not learning more about crypto when the crypto market experiences a significant upswing. and there are many people like that in the crypto market, because their mindset when entering the crypto market is only thinking about profit and wanting to get rich quickly. they don't care about the process and want instant results.

As a newbie why is he involved in any coin that's not bitcoin? If he just stuck to bitcoin as a holder he wouldn't need to to be stressed and keep checking on his coin and listen to what other have to say.
And why should he have to trust people? Safeguarding your seed phrase is just the same thing as safeguarding other personal details of yours, difference is, this should be saved offline. All you have to do is find a safe place where nobody would think to look and no body is going to come across it by mistake.
It's not compulsory you use a hardware wallet, even though we all agree it's the safest means to secure your bitcoin. If you use an open sourced, non custodial wallet you would be fine if you keep your seed safe safe offline and don't expose your wallet to people online.

The stress that I say comes with bitcoin is just the emotional stress. Watching your asset devalue is not an easy task, but if you stick to bitcoin and have a basic understanding of bitcoin you'll understand that bitcoin dip is not the end of bitcoin, it usually comes back up, so that means you'll definitely get your money back.

So I believe there are only two problems with your friend.
The first is, he didn't stick with bitcoin. A newbie shouldn't be meddling with altcoins.
The second is, he doesn't have an understanding of bitcoin, or maybe he has the wrong understanding.

If you have been in the crypto community for long you would share the same feelings with him but it is something I don't mind doing a thousand times over than being at the mercies of the traditional finance companies that I do not trust. This is what self custody does. It makes you to take personal up responsibility for your assets. However, If you should do everything right like having the latest security software on your device setting up other security measures on your wallet you may not need to keep on verifying repeatedly before carrying out any transaction. Your friend isn't lazy, it could be that he isn't cut-out for this crypto industry.

This is like saying; "I'm tired of holding on to my wallet and having to protect it, let me hand it over to someone else who I find trustworthy and not worry about that problem again, of course he can steal what I have inside and it can also be stolen from him but then I have someone to blame it on"

Keeping your coins yourself doesn't require constant vigilance, I have seedphrases written down and stored in secured places, and I don't have to check them daily or weekly, just every once in a while and then I check every 6 months orba year that the backup phrase is accurate. If you have a watchonly wallet your job is much easier.

The consequence of trust is far greater than any minor inconvenience.
