Some might argue it's too soon to say but i think crypto is definitely the future and here to stay.

Cryptocurrency is the first technology that I never conceived was even possible before it was released to the world. Flying cars, routine inter-planetary travel, nano-technology, advanced AI, etc were all things I could imagine coming to be, but I never imagined that the fundamental relationship between people could be so drastically strengthened with a censorship resistant and permissionless platform that allows instantaneous and global peer-to-peer transactions.
