Link does not work for me OP. Site takes too long to respond.
Crypto doesn’t discriminate gender and I’m happy these women are coming out with a bright initiative to encourage other women.
Of course, crypto does not discriminate between genders. It is a neutral thing. Whether you are a woman, man, tall, short, fat or skinny, you can enter the crypto world. What seems to me is that there are few women in this forum and there is no gender discrimination here either. The only thing is that it is practically impossible to know for sure if the person behind a nickname is male or female (or gender fluid etc).
I support women day and women empowerment and et cetera but personally,,, I think all the time I see crypto women and crypto this and that with girls,,, very few of them are about real empowerment and support.
Hiring girls and women only because you put them in reception or make them marketing people or PR or communications does not make you supportive of women. Because those areas are anyway dominated traditionally by women.
For example,,, I met several young girl coders and programmers who only take freelance jobs because they do not get hired full time. In my own company we have hire and fire policy and 99% are lazy guy coders who actually boasted on job interview to get the job. When we hire new girl, almost for sure she goes to admin or HR or reception "support" staff.
Tech companies are the worst at women thing IMO. Not talking about my company as the culprit of course,,, but in general.
Hope that events like these can remind the male egos in crypto to think about this
