The interface is very confusing.Literally I was lost on the website trying to find how the app works.Usually whenever I see a new thread in this section with the title 'Crypto-Tracker/Portfolio Manager' I automatically assume people are not serious about their project.
The most simplest app to ever make is the price ticker and portfolio managers which are often developed as hobby apps.

No not through the app. It's Peer-to-peer. The app does not charge for anything. It's just an intermediary for two traders to exchange their coins.

Yes it is possible to trade locally. It's like Localbitcoins, just with over 800 different coins and available for iOS and Android. Making it possible to meet people nearby and exchange coins.
