Some crypto news on X and telegram some times could be misleading not all of them tho, so i mainly focus my attention on the news i see on coin base, coingeko, and other reputable apps and exchange some of which you did mentioned earlier in your post, most of the ones made on telegram and X at times if it's not the official channels or Handel of some of these coins, the information can actually be misleading because these people who post these things may actually get to post these things for several purpose which may not actually be for the purpose of actually getting the right information passed acrossed to the public.

So.e fraudulent people actually makes yes of X and telegram to get their victims and that's why you can always find numerous handles on X and telegram channels claiming to build community for projects which we later find out aren't real and true enough.

All the listed channels are full of information regards crypto but basically for me Twitter has been the best as I follow most friend that has lunched deep into crypto and their information are authentic and reliable.

I recently discovered through a friend crypto group created by pioneer for update and the group information is reliable, though it may seem lazy not engaging much in other sources but what matter is where one find it more reliable to get authentic information regards to crypto.

But the most among the all is the forum allot to learn is full on the forum more anywhere else.

- Cointelegraph
- Coindesk
- CoinGecko
- CoinMarketCap

These are the platforms i also often read news updates from as they are the ones very common for many cryptopreneurs to use in making findings or receiving news feeds, however, the one that is not included here is X, i also uses the platform to get news updates, there is no certainty in any of the news feeds received from any of the listed platforms above because they are not hundred percent reliable to be genuine, we are to intensify the level to how we make more research on anything we see from these sites.

There are different sites for publishing news and from there the same news is published in different forms on different websites. OP, all the websites you mentioned for crypto currency news are among the top sites and provide a variety of information about the cryptocurrencies. But I don't really follow the various types of sites that OP mentioned. I always focus on cryptocurrency news updates from Twitter. It goes without saying that at first I got my basic idea of cryptocurrency news from Bitcoin forums and later go to various websites to get detailed information.

Bitcointalk.org is the most source I got my crypto news from and, it has opened my eyes to see a lot of things that I have never seen before in other sources because, I am very active in the forum and any single news that is trending concerning crypto it will be brought to Bitcointalk.org for other users to know what is happening in the crypto industry.

The second source I use to get more information that related to crypto are coinmarketcap, where I use to see news price rate of many coins in the market and if I want to make a choice to buy coins from the market, I will use the price of the coinmarketcap to make my decision.

Everything on X/Twitter. Curate your following really well, and the quality of news and general cryptocurrency news updates you'll see will be high quality. That's where I get my airdrop farming information as well. I'm personally against following just individual news sites lol for obvious reasons.
We have reasons to always trust our means, never relent but keeps sticking for proper stands in the system. The reasons behind the huge change comes from taking decisive actions that will either trigger us to making profits. We should ensure we're sitting ontop legit information because they're the available ones that will bring gigantic profits. Crypto news are mostly followed from X/Twitter app and Discord. These are the enlisted sources that generates important crypto related informations and this have become huge meanings.

I mostly prefer using coinmarket cap and coin geko to get accurate information about crypto at least for personal research,  but when I want to check out fun stuffs or news about who gets arrested next or law suites I prefer Reddit and X cause I do enjoy the arguments and different opinions people throw so I learn more and can ask questions when I'm confused.

Hi there!

Where do you usually read crypto news? Any good Telegram or Twitter channels worth checking? I'm open to newsletters, podcasts, traditional media or anything else actually. Primarily I’m  looking for sources with concentrated knowledge. Open for good long reads as well. Where to find out about airdrops? This would be very useful too.

Unfortunately, I don't like looking for any Airdrops all this time except just reading on some of the sites that you have described in this discussion because for me some of the sites that you have described are also complete enough to find out about crypto information and other things. So I just used some of them to increase my knowledge without having the attraction to search for Airdrop through any site and also through any channel now even if you consider it as an important thing.

OP don't let your enthusiasm lead you to a scam channel promoting a rug pull or any kind of untrusted crypto groups, when surfing to get info on such places like Telegram make sure not to share anything to personal about yourself or even ask a question like this there cause your just opening a door to a scammer, finding good groups would be hard so better stick with the trusted sites like coinmarket cap.

From all the list you have mentioned, i mostly used X  formerly known as twitter, this is one of the most quickest and reliable means to get updates about crypto news, but if we are talking about the cryptocurrencies in general and their individual or collective performance, then coinmarketcap, cointelegraph, coingecko, coindesk are the best to get your updates from, so its all about the platform we are more comfortable to use and how we see it attractive to us.

It's funny how you all don't know about https://news.treeofalpha.com
It's a tool where all the latest Crypto News Articles and Tweets are combined so you don't have to visit multiple sites.
Also, you can use the search functionality to find news about your preferred Crypto.
It's not a promotion, just sharing it with you all as it's free to use.

OP already mention few news aggregator, although none of them include tweet. While concept of that website is interesting, they include account owned by news provider (e.g. CoinDesk and TheBlock) which may give duplicate information.

It's still better than visiting 10+ links every minute or hour to find if there's a new blog post, instead you just visit the URL I gave and it automatically updates when there's a new blog post from multiple Crypto sources. I have been using it personally from months and It's really beneficial at the cost of $0. If you worry about duplicate information, you can simply use the Filter button to remove the above mentioned websites.

For a long time, Bitcoin.com was not neutral news and supported BCH FUD, I did not follow their news in the recent period, but I hope this has changed

It's not as bad as in past, although some news about BTC or BCH still has some bias. Here's an example, https://news.bitcoin.com/from-low-to-high-bitcoin-fees-jump-over-129-in-4-days/ where people could create wrong assumption where average BTC transaction (1 input, 2 output) costs $11.48.

I prefer to create my own filters as I collect the RSS Feeds from several sources and then customize the news.

Coindsk is the most reliable source in addition to some YouTube channels that give weekly updates or with every event worth covering.

Current list of news sources:
- Cointelegraph
- Coindesk Coingecko
- CoinMarketCap
- CryptoPanic
- defidive.com
- bitcoinmonkey.org
- Bitcoin.com news
- Coindesk

Some suggestion,
1. Personally i'd avoid Cointelegraph due to clickbait and inaccurate details.
2. Coingecko, CoinMarketCap, defidive.com and bitcoinmonkey.org actually are news aggregator. You could just use one of them, where IMO both defidive or bitcoinmonkey are decent choice.

I use Cointelgraph, Coindesk Coingecko and Coinmarketcap.

I do not follow the crypto news on X but I do get some people tweeting about crypto news. On Twitter, you can follow some crypto well known people and sites.
It's not suitable for finding news, but you can find sources of information if there are projects that you are monitoring, usually the altcoin project developers always create a team for the development of the projects they build, and I personally always pay attention to the development of their twitter or X account as a tool to ensure that they are running. So don't take wild sources, when you can see from the main source for the development of something, then it is much better, rather than sources from second or third parties.

But if it's macro and the media we use already has high credibility then it's okay to use like the media above to get the latest information, especially for some media it is necessary to become a VIP member to get faster news, it will be great if you like or need it.

I think this information will be very useful to some newbies that wants to be getting frequent updates from the crypto space.
With newbies, less new exposure will be better for them. Reading more news will make them either more FOMO or more panic, then lose money.

OP can get some sites from
Bitcoin News and Bitcoin Price Chart Sites.

Ice been using Coinmarketcap fro long to search about cryptocurrency projects and know where they are listed.
For new, telegraph is a good site to keep reading about crypto news and many more.

I just want to add this from the above post, I suggest if you are looking for an aggregator where you can see all news related to crypto all in one spot including polls/media then check this link below.

For crypto airdrops, I only use one Airdrop aggregator check this link below.

We have enough crypto sites where we can get first hand crypto news, all the sites mentioned in the OP gives accurate news, although sometimes they can copy each other, which is normal, so far they're reporting the same correct news. Thanks for the addition, 'cryptopanic, the more the merrier, I think that I'll add it to my crypto site collection, I hope that it lives up to your hype.

I suggest ICOdrops. I followed their telegram announcement and youll get some info or update on some new projects or even update on fundamental update on some new tokens and project. I think it will help you find early alpha especially if they share some new sales that are gonna launch or even be prepared to some ICOs. Even airdrops or new testnet are being shared so this is a user friendly news page.

There are no real sources for cryptocurrency news. There are hundreds of sites that repeat, quote, or even steal content from other sites. Even reliable sites like Cointelgraph and Coindesk do not verify their sources, so it is easy to find that a rumor is repeated for several days.
The best you can do is to search for good accounts on Twitter that verify news before posting it, or research in depth the news that is circulating.

OP you have found a good answer, I also agree with this:

I use Cointelgraph, Coindesk Coingecko and Coinmarketcap.

If I want to read about the latest news then I will use Cointelgraph and Coindesk, I also have a list of sites for news in my local language but it's just the same news as Cointelgraph and Coindesk so I don't think it's necessary to recommend it to you

For news about prices and historical data, of course Coinmarketcap and Coingecko

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum mate, you are here at the right time to get the right information you need.

There are various crypto and bitcoin news channels on telegram.
Bitcoin.com news.

Cointelegraph.

These are the ones I mostly used l, but there are others that have been recommended here by some of our colleagues, you can go through them all for reliable news; you can bring the news here if you get it for more confirmation.

You can check the all the listed/mentioned channels or websites that offer crypto news it's more better than going to social media to get information, or you can even still to the forum because every now and then Informations are updated frequently.

Here is my reason why I said you should go to social media for information because most times the informations are false and they easily get spread before verifications. but for this websites mentioned above they take proper confirmation before uploading on the sites so most times or all the informations are quite legit.

What I do is, I try to be active on crypto communities such as bitcointalk and a couple of subreddits.

I also find using crypto news aggregators much easier -- naturally, cryptopanic.com is one of the choices but I found myself using bitcoinmonkey.org more cause I really liked how easier it was to customize my feed. Too bad they don't have a dark mode yet and auto-refresh of feed but last time I check their ANN, they said they were willing to do these.

I've got lazy and lately I just check - now and then - the headlines from https://defidive.com/news?filter=bitcoin <- you can add other areas of interest too to the filter
Rarely I go into the news too.

I have used Cryptopanic here and there over the past couple years.  Its a decent news aggregator for crypto.  You can filter what sources you wanna keep tabs on, which is handy to pare things down to outlets you dig.  Some solid Telegram channels covering crypto are Unfolded and WatcherGuru and  they seem to keep me in the loop on the latest.

These tools can help you stay on top of what's happening in the crypto world without getting overloaded.
