Everything Seun Kuti is saying against cryptocurrencies because of his sister, who lost a lot of money in crypto, is based on a lack of understanding; Seun Kuti and his sister, who lost so much money, know nothing about crypto. There is a saying that "Riches are still the ones making more money," yet it is obvious that you need to first know about something in order to make more money. Some celebrities just entered social media and referred to cryptocurrency as fraud and gambling, but he failed to figure out what type of investment her sister made with her money.

When the same thing happened to Mark Angel's comedy, we were aware he trusted the wrong individual and lost money on FX trading, but we don't know what project Seun Kuti's sister put her money in to get duped. This is why they say knowledge is the key to success, many individuals believe they can begin investing without carrying out serious research since they are already wealthy, and no one will ever beyond some level of learning. I feel sad for her, and she has made a serious financial mistake.

You can only hear such things from those who don't have crypto knowledge but they want to earn massive profits from crypto trading because they see crypto trading as an easy place to earn profit without the knowledge of crypto trading. I heard something like this from someone that was very close to me some years ago, that crypto users are scammers that the moment someone put money in crypto the price will begin to go down in a way the person that put the money will not recover from the trading, but after his explanation I knew that he didn't have the knowledge of crypto before investing money in crypto, which is the reason he lost what he lost in crypto but he claim crypto users are the one that stole the money.

I believe we in this forum no that crypto people are not criminals, but there are some people over there using the name of crypto users to scam people, for them to believe that crypto users are criminals which is not true.

Because his sister lost $50 million, he said crypto people are criminals. He should understand the risk involved before investing on those pump and dump coins.

Why no invest in bitcoin if they want a coin that is not pump and dump? Why not make proper research?

But if we should tell the truth, pump and dump scheme is not something good. I think Davido coin and others supposed teach many people a lesson

$50 million is not a small amount of money at all. So sorry for the loss.

From Seun's statement, one could tell that he knows nothing about Cryptocurrency cause if the does he should've known that his sister channeled her attention to the wrong Cryptocurrency, you're right Charlse, she invested on a pump and dump coin then a rug pull occurred, all those coins are highly risky.
Investing #50m in Bitcoin would've gone a long way after a complete circle and Seun won't see any reason to speak out of emotions and referring to every crypto enthusiasts as criminals. Well, asides investing in shitcoins maybe she might have gone into forex trading and probably lost, it's makes me wonder if #50m is her spare cash and why she'll invest that heavily on risky stuffs.

An adage says that what you don't know is bigger than you, if you go into a business without proper research, it is likely that you can make avoidable mistakes. Many people think that crypto trading is a get rich quick scheme because of what they hear on social media and from what people that don't have trading experiences tells them. When they lose all their money due to inexperience they will call cryptocurrency a scam. People that have not taken their time to learn about technical analysis of trading and be mentored by experienced traders are no different from gamblers who are depending on luck to make profits.

Seun Kuti's labelling of crypto people (traders) as criminals shows that he doesn't know anything about crypto trading. If he knew that cryptocurrencies are volatile he wouldn't be blaming innocent traders for his sister's lose of 50 million naira in trading, according to him.

People that are looking for where to make quick money should understand that crypto trading is not a shortcut to riches. It is a risky business that people don't need to rush into because they have heard that others are making easy money from it.

Seun Kuti just say that out of emotion considering the fact that he or his close sibling might have lost a significant volume of investment in cryptocurrency but irrespective of that many investors are still making good profit from their cryptocurrency investment.
Some people tend to condem certain investment when it does not favour them without making a good research to know the reason for their failure.
