Hello all. could anyone explain me what is early access in crypto projects which i have seen commonly in airdrop programs. in post case it is to "submit your email and join for early access"

what is this early access through airdrops and what are the benefits for airdrop hunters??? could anyone explain me? thank you.
usually they will be given an email notification later if you send an email to them, which contains a tutorial on how to start their service testnet, I have also submitted to a project that held an airdrop but not all of the pretest programs were successful, sometimes some just sent messages which is not important to your email, so if you want to follow the initial access, it is recommended to create a new email, do not use your main email

Usually early access in regards to new and upcoming crypto projects means that you have the opportunity to invest into the project before the public launch of it's token. This means you can make your investment during the seed phase or during the private sale phase and there you get the tokens to a price that is usually quite a bit lower than the one in the public sale or for the listing of the project.
If they are saying early access in terms of airdrop then i would guess that they just want to have your e-mail address in order to send you spam mails or, even worse, to sell your address to other spam mail senders or scammers. So never given them your "real" mail address.

That is not something that could end up profiting most people. It is obvious that people will try to make some money from the pumps and dumps of the early days of a new project but it is always too dangerous to be around. I am not saying that we should keep on investing at all times or stay away neither but be careful in any case.

Airdrops are basically just giving away free money, it could be token or nft or anything else it doesn2t matter if there are a lot that was given for free that means it is going to hurt the market and there will be plenty of people who will sell cheaper and cheaper because they didn't pay anything for it, which could crash the market.

It simply means submitting your email address to get the latest updates about the project and sometimes to submitting your email early might also be a criteria for receiving airdrops in the future while some are just spamming and looking for engagements.

I am not a fan of airdrops or being airdrop hunters these days. But what I saw before on a Defi platform I am using is they have this page where they list some of their prospects that airdrop will happen on some chains, not only 1 chain but others too, you can filter it by chain or sort, etc.
It's called DefiLlama, they have Airdrop page: https://defillama.com/airdrops

It depends on a project you joined, legit and trusted ones are not spamming but sending you updates via email since you are an early user  and you want updates from its developments, they usually inform users to test its platform like testnets first in exchange for some airdrops.
But the problem is if it's a new project then we won't be able to see if it's a legit project or not even 90% of the new projects in altcoins are just trash projects that don't give anything to the crypto world other than scams. And use a second email if you really want to follow it is the best solutions.

This is most likely what will gonna happen because not only they gonna sent you spam messages, but they also sell your emails among thousands of others to scammers and you can't help receiving random offers every day which I kinda annoying. I ended up not using my main email anymore because of my mistake years ago. I signed up for every Airdrop out there not caring whether it is legit or not and the result is my main email right now is not usable anymore due to multiple scam emails it received every day.
This is become a habit when we send email to online sites, not only when we want to take part in airdrops and others, even when we register on a trusted platform, it is still possible for our email to be misused so that it becomes full of junk and scam messages, my second email full of it

You literally get early access to news, developments, airdrops or even investment opportunities by subscribing and submitting your email as you have demonstrated to have a bigger interest in the project than most investors, so projects do what they can to keep you updated so you can eventually form part of the project in some way or form, whether this involvement is in the form of becoming an investor or promoting their project in social media all of it is important, which is why some projects give so much attention to the people that decide they want to get early access to their project.

It's data mining these days and these projects know how to compile all of that information for them to have great access to their potential customers.
Well, if you're really interested in them, you can fill it up because they'll just give you some access but not really like that but updates to what they've been working for.
There are pros and cons to having that type of access and as I've said in the first sentence, there are projects that take advantage of it. They're making it like they're mandating people to get on them as early as they can because they seem important but there's a twist with that.

Early access meant if you have been granted an key to access the platform or product at the early phase rather than others. I guess it's about something like doing task to get incentive. If you meant about something related with the early access was about test net. Testnet is a way for the developers to testing the network before it will be launched and it can be considered as early even as well.

I guess it's incentivized testnet. It's not airdrop. Airdrop dropped by the developers as reward for the people who have tried to testing product.

It's an old marketing strategy, they get your email and they will send you an update about their project, it benefits both the subscribers and the project can turn their subscribers into investors and subscribers gets to see how the project is being developed, so you can see its potential, its the easiest way to interact between investors and the developers.

Basically word for word, Submit your email for them to send you new updates and project links to gain early access. It depends on the project but airdrop projects I believe is first come first serve, So the earlier you are is the early the reward will be sent to you. There are also airdrops that require task and those task would be easier if done early like their common referral program. If you are one of the first, There would be a high chance that you can invite more. Keeping in touch is one of the qualities that the airdrop hunters need, so having a direct email from the project would be a neet thing to have.

This is the other word for early bird, it's not only on airdrops but it applies to projects where they want to build a community, community is everything in any Cryptocurrency project, all Crypto projects thrive on trust and they can build their community if they allow early access like airdrop, testnet and prelaunch or private sales, it gives the community a chance to examine the project so they can decide if it's worth investing.

Well true, but the biggest and most legit ones already have a huge client base and demand for it though. Safety-wise with the 'early birds' it's better to just go with another email just meant for NFTs, ICOs and other crypto related projects.

What you say is like you leave an email address on the project website and they will send you project updates as quickly as possible. This is not necessary as they will spam your emails, if you want to stay updated then you can follow their social media channels.

If you are talking about testnet, this is an early tester form of the project and will likely be rewarded after the testnet phase ends. This is a popular form of airdrop today and it is effective for both the project and the participants.
