Paypal in your headline / title scares me though
i had thousands of dollars randomly seized by them and then they launched an investigation on me that spanned months..
and only after getting a lawyer and and providing mind shattering levels of info did they let up and give in and give me my money back. (most of it anyway)
and all the while they at no point did they say they would give it back either..
Long story short.. they insisted i get signed affidavit saying i broke their TOS which states..
Using ANY type of virtual currency with Paypal is against the rules and that i certify i am guilty and that i promise not to do it again.
Basically they said prove to us in writing with a Notaries seal that you are guilty and we will "proceed" with the investigation.
Or ? case closed = money gone .
seriously if people out there don't believe me fine but you could be in for a world of hurt with ANYTHING Paypal or eBay and anything Crypto.
Don't say i didn't warn ya lol
You have no idea what it's like having PP steal your money and say you broke the existing TOS and admit guilt and we might give your money back (implied not said)
And what is even funnier is when they froze my account they stole about $700 usd from me and kept claiming a dozen times over a month or two that they gave it back
when they had froze a Newegg PC parts order on me.. they had not.. they stole it and lied to me over and over and over !
They kept bouncing me back and forth.. Paypal said talk to Newegg and Newegg said talk to Paypal and i kept screaming them YOU GUYS talk to each other dammit !
I kept going back to Newegg and they kept saying sorry your Newegg accoint is still banned and we want our payment...
and i kept telling them over and over Paypal swears they paid you (they didn't / they lied)
Because of Paypal they ruined my reputation for life with Newegg drawing them into a payment battle that lasted months causing them to lock my account etc.
Eventually Paypal admitted they kept the money and paid me but i had to fight them for it HARD !!!
They locked my account seized my money (about 5 grand usd) and then when they finished fighting me they ripped me off for $700 in the end.
And my previously verified Paypal account had never been involved in any bad behavior and Newegg never complained to Paypal about me either.
I *think after sending $2500 two times form BTC-E and then trying to cash out a couple grand to my Bank account triggered their systems for an investigation.
And what they said the problem was changed three times.. as soon as i satisfied one problem they simply changed their excuse for the investigation..
It was kind of funny too because on $5000 cashed out from BTC-E they combined had hit me for about $500 in service charges total
and only after they collected their fee's did the launch an investigation ..figures
A lot of people have argued with me and aid it's fine and i laugh at them.
Some people say what do you expect you should know better..
Well in my defense the service is provided at BTC-E and there is no warning about possible investigations.
It's spider web.. they will get their fee's and you will get screwed ..so no i doubt btc-e really cares about you.. they will get paid regardless lol
