If you want to learn about Bitcoin (technical, trading and so), I recommend https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page
The bitcoin wiki is one of the more complete projects about bitcoin, at least, under my point of view.

To be aware of the news related to bitcoin there are other websites, like this one: https://www.coindesk.com/

And, of course, this forum itself contains tons of material related to bitcoin.

Some of my favorite Crypto channels I follow:

CryptoLark
Datadash
CryptoDemetrius
Ian Balian
Ameer Rosic

Where I do a lot of my trading:

Poloniex
Cryptopia

my crypto starter kit consists of:

Delta App     (to see current portfolio)
Ivan on tech (dayli updates)
Twitter          (follow:big traders and big players)
binance         (to trade)
coinbase        (to upload money)
coin telegraph, coinmarket cap, coindesk (news and stats)

maybe Github too (for update in code)

what about yours?

I would really recommend to you to also get a hardware wallet, like Ledger Nano S. This will ensure that your cryptos are always safe and will let you sleep tight at times where there is FUD about exchanges getting hacked.
A hardware wallet was actually  the first thing I got before starting with cryptos and I have never regretted it.

I never had much luck with the Ledger Nano's.  Id recommend the Trezor hardware wallets for ease of use.

Don't forget about cryptomiso. It is a handy website that ranks the various cryptocurrencies based on their github activity in the past months.

https://cryptomiso.com/

You can easily check how active the developers of your favorite coin are.

And as a part of the starter kit, first purchase should be Stellar Lumens. This is one token that won’t let you down!!

Blockfolio is also a very good mobile app, and don't forget youtube! Of course finding the reputable sources is a very important component. In addition to Binance there is Cryptopia which has a lot of the obscure small cap coins.

I would highly recommend adding DNotesEDU to your list. It is a site that focuses on both traditional financial education and cryptocurrency education. Although published by people working closely with the DNotes Coin, the site seeks to provide objective and accurate information. It has a lot of great resources.

As an aside, I also recommend the DNotes Coin project as a model project for comparing other cryptocurrency projects to, especially when considering whether or not to invest in an altcoin project. The DNotes project is impeccable in terms of having a solid foundation, being professional, good infrastructure, good developers and marketers, working hard while remaining very approachable. The project thread can be found here.

true i forgot bitcointalk!

Do you know some interesting websites that provide free market analysis tools?

like https://bitmood.net/ for example

https://coindar.org/en/forecasts/

This site was quite helpful for me starting out. Users make predictions and you can see who tends to be the most accurate.

My favorite trading platform is BitTrex, but I also use Poloniex and Cryptopia.

For keeping up with news in the cryptocurrency industry, I highly recommend DCEbrief.com and coindesk.com.

For education, DNotesEDU.com is pretty good.

As far as a general all purpose resource, you can't go wrong with CoinMarketcap.com. That's your one stop shop for finding out all the basic information and links for each coin that has active markets as well as a few that don't.

On Youtube I would also recommend Data Dash. His analysis on the market is usually pretty spot on.

If you're not starting out with much capital, look into airdrops and possibly a bounty campaign.

Pretty much everything you listed, but Livecoinwatch[1] instead of coinmarketcap.

Andreas Antonopoulos on Twitter.
Reddit's famous /r/bitcoin[2] and /r/cryptocurrency[3] for my news.
