Scam sites like that will always pop up, I read your post like you got some kind of a free bet, where you won, and now they try to make you deposit an amount equal to what you won to withdraw, but as long as you didn't lose any money on it, then take it as a free lesson, about nothing are really free.

Not that you didn’t suspect it already but it is.  I have a balance of over .5BTC and I just happened to win on my first play.  They won’t let you withdraw at all.  Smolamate Keeps deleting my comments on the post to inform people so I made a new topic.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear your loses in case you can't get them back.

Did he lose his money on that site? I dont think so, I believe his 0.5btc was from the free bonus during registration and he won some additional mBtc from playing the game. IIRC it was like roulette game, correct me if I'm wrong.
The other info that I know is that once users want to withdraw the winning then the required deposit is 0.01btc. So if he did lose some money in this site, 0.01btc could be the max amount that he lost but still I dont think he made the deposit on suspicious site.

Yeah sorry, I didn’t lose anything.   I just so happened to win $2,000 on a $15 bet first try.  Hahah
Atleast you only didnt lose much on this site you are saying does not let you withdraw once you actually won a decent amount.
But it will be a lesson to others who are depositing enough of a balance over this amount on the site to be wary and try a withdraw to see if they receive anything or not.

This type of scam's is common in discord channel,

The same scam tactics but in discord the scammer will ask some random clueless guy to help him withdraw some funds in some unknown dodgy casino websites.

The website is well setup it has a real UX of a real casino platform. Chat box is active with conversation, Other people bets and winnings are being shown., But everything is just an eye candy to make unsuspecting people believe that they are in a real casino website.

And once you deposit funds nothing will show on your account and you cannot withdraw it anymore.
Such kind of sites appear again and again, I hope all users will soon understand, that any casino in which you need to make a deposit to withdraw is a scam.

A BIG NO for this, you cant generalize like this. Casino is not a charity that gives you free money all the time. Example, some casinos wont let you withdraw if you are playing from the faucet only. You need to make deposit, casinos are place for gamblers not for people who try to look for free money every day.

Not to mention he referenced them "Casinos" as every one of them....
Just dont be in general specification as not all of them are scam or have any kind of issues with their withdrawls.
Take an example from both Primedice and Stake. Big Casinos and running in a very good state and reputation.

Damn. This is quite common actually in the gambling world and such scams can be sniffed out quite easily since red flags tend to pop up very quickly in such cases.

Gullible people tend to fall prey to such scams though due to obvious reasons and they are the reason why scammers keep coming up with new and creative scams over time.

thats the usual catch of a shady website, either you need to deposit money before you can withdraw or follow a certain procedure that will ask you to enter your wallet and keys.
nothing new actually. scammers will try and try until they get something from those gullible users especially new ones who are attracted by freebies
one thing i do with this too-good-to-be-true offer is i test first with a disposable email or username and check whats the real deal. and you will find out fast whats really going on

Probably the gambling site owner didn't have enough coins to pay such reward due to the low quantity of players and the small bets,so his gambling site just bankrupted. Grin
Scamming players for just $15 doesn't seem serious to me.I'm not advocating him,he is most likely a scammer, though. Sad

All the scammed gamblers should bunch up and pool their funds together to pursue to sue these sites. There should be an association of gamblers or something.

Sorry to hear your story. That is what you will get if you are playing gambling and the scam is only the things that need your concern. So next time, you need to be careful, and my advice is don't just withdraw all the money but you can withdraw from small amount first, and then you can do it again in the next day, so they don't become suspicious.

There are many such websites works in same way of cheating people. Most of them offers roulette game and gives some free crypto on sign up. In order to make a withdraw they would ask to make a bet on Roulette. You would be surprised to see that you have won big on the first bet. There would be lot of fake players in chat too. When we make a deposit there won't be a response after that.

After multiple persons opened scam accusations against their website they instantly deleted their topic from bitcointalk and disappeared. It is a shame such people exist and they come here promising people free bonuses when in reality all they want is people to invest in their website.

Well yeah it has been always that way and I am sure it will still be a thing in the next future days.
Gamblers, Investors just need to take more carefull where they are using their money into.
As an advice just take it with precaution, analyze sites potential, see some reviews, feedback and eventually you will end up with a solid understanding of what your dealing with.

Is this the site name or the person you were talking to?

You did not give much information. I assume you have not deposited any money there, it is the free money they gave and asked you to deposit if you want to withdraw.

Few minutes ago I just tagged one to this kind on the scam accusations board. It's a common trick by the scammers. Don't take it too seriously.

Sorry to hear your loses in case you can't get them back.

It's really a shame these sites keep existing and trying to get out of us (Gamblers).
By making active promotions (which will end up scam) and / or giving out bonuses where you need to deposit for your first withdrawls.

Also there could be some other information about Crypto vest somewhere else or even here at Bitcointalk.
You should take care before using any kind of site. Go for reviews first.

Actually there are many other similar sites with the one you are referring to and all of them are scam sites where they offer free money to play then give you a big win but they will ask you to deposit in order to withdraw your winning. Most of the sites are promoted by brand new account and I believe the previous account who promoted similar site has been banned/nuked already. That's why they keeps on creating new account again and again, promoting similar sites which I believe owned by the same person who try to steal people's money. There is also a long discussion topic about this similar site on the scam accusation board IIRC. No one should fall on this type of scam attempt.
