btcpop.co now is a respectable lending site ..... Smiley

Casimir (actual CEO) secured it and started improving all the features inside.

Casimir also forgot to say that btcpop.co changed his verification system and is no more linked to Ardeva.

P.s. i'm only a member of the community, not involved in anything else, except being an investor.

cryptoborrow.com is owned by Lee.
He aggreed with me to open no competion site to btcpop on changing ownership.
He lied all the time about everything.
User balances was much higher than he said.
Their was more shares created in the system.
After founding out all those things we aggreed he send me at least the Altcoin wallets, he never did, i got some but that was corrupted and some i got because i had access to the old webserver and transfered them via rpc but i had to buy Altcoins for $30k+ to cover user balances.
Late August he transfered the old ETH balances away and even stole micro deposits going to old addresses...
He created fake accounts before changing ownership on btcpop with 220+ btc in fake balances what he tried to withdrawal after changing ownership. ( he got 29 out and made a payment of 27 btc on one of his now defaulted loans ).
He cheated the ex owner of target sports.
He didn't pay any bills.
I still get emails addressed to him even payment reminders for amounts of $0.61
He was already in jail in the past: http://www.bexhillobserver.net/news/bexhill-dad-jailed-for-stealing-sex-toys-1-1396858

And specialy this is funny:
http://blendpop.com/cb/ -
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2005] Unknown MySQL server host 'ardeva-cluster.cluster-cgxo1klmgwqv.us-east-1.rds.amazonaws.com' (0

blendpop is Lee's domain he developed that scam site their...
Screenshotted that url for the case he deletes it.

This is horrible! I couldn't imagine something like this is possible. And btcpop supposed to be respectable lending site. Some say even the best. So this person actualy tried to scam more users through this new site? Thank you for all this informations, to know to avoid it. Is there any honest lending website?
And good luck!

IMO if you're looking for a loan, you're better off with more reputable services like BitLendingClub. Just don't default, please.

Let me burst your bubble.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/this-is-why-bitcoin-p2p-lending-is-dead-1625932

Sorry.

Well I said if he's 'looking for a loan.' That thread is mostly investing on loans.

I've been there, I've lost BTCBTCBTC investing in loans at BitLendingClub, that's why I said don't default.

It looks like Ardeva is waking up. Yesterday I received an email from them responding to a verification that was send 3 months ago. Surely, should it take three months to verify an address. Funny enough, my address verification was rejected. The same address verification has been accepted in three different sites. What they want me to so is to lie to them. I think they like liars.
Even if they will be better with their customers from now on and upgrade their pitiful support - it is too late and too little.
Will anyone trust in service which is notorious for being late. I mean 3 months delay when answering support ticket? It is insane.

I found this site cryptoborrow.com that provides loans. I've registred and a small instant loan (0.015) was approved to me. The problem is that I can't withdraw the funds. Also, repayment of thew loan is also impossible because deposit address is not visible. I've contacted support but now answerw. The funny thing is that Ardeva promotes this lending site. Does anyone here has any kind of experience with this site? Is it a scam or is just not working properly?

If it is a scam it is not a very good one since it is not working. You have not lost anything so they cannot gain anything. Mskes no sense to me perhaps something is wrong though if you already have contacted support and they still wont reply then maybe they testing things or still setting their scam site up.

I'm surprised that they would allow people to borrow bitcoins without either allowing them to withdraw the bitcoins or asking for collateral. It's like they are almost asking them to get scammed. I couldn't find the faq as well, where is it? Do you mean this site: https://cryptoborrow.com/Home#?

I'm surprised that this site would let people borrow bitcoins and not let them withdraw. If you don't let people withdraw the bitcoins, then what's the point of letting others make a loan?  hopefully they fix the site so you can get the loan out.
Is this true?
I guess that you are missing the verification or submitting the required documents kind of process so that we will be getting enabling the withdrawal options for the loan amount?

I have not checked their services yet. Let me check and share their process of getting a loan and withdrawing it.

I don't think you will have some success. This site is obviously some attempt to collect users data and probably misuse them afterwards somwhere else, maybe even steel identity. I don't know how else to explain this. And I'm especialy disapointed with Ardeva and I deeply regret that I ever shared my data with them. Now I'm afraid that they could pop up somwhere used for bad purpose and damage me.

OK,

I confirm i received my 0.01 BTC Loan.

How did you get your loan. The site seems to be dormant and I don't see any activity. They want ardeva verified people but ardeva is also not working. I agree with the person who said cryptoborrow and ardeva are owned by one person.

Yes, Ardeva is also not responding to anything and their customer service is dead. I think that no one isn't trusting them anymore. Cryptoborrow is probably some kind of attempted scam, that is what I think, connected with Ardeva. And the log in is also not possible anymore. Avoid this services.

Do you want to say that Ardeva is a scam too? And I have all my personal data there! Is there any legit site these days where people can be confident and have trust? Btcpop also uses Ardeva, what about them?

At the same time i send them BTC for repay , and i received amount on account only after 1 week  Tongue (and this sound strange). Now i obtained another little loan on 0.035BTC . It over 2 day i required withdrawal, but nothing happen yet. I will update if thing changes.

I dont think its scam. You paid nothing and got nothing so maybe the system is having some problem ? Must tell is how it is since this site can be nice for me maybe.

A scam comes in so many forms. It does not necessarily entail you paying to be summed. From the description of OP,  I tend to think that this site is cheating people that it will offer loans so that they reveal their details. These details are later sold to third parties for different purposes. Therefore, you end up providing details and you don't get the loan.

thats too.. scam traffic, or the form that u fill in first sign up.. maybe they just want to spam your email..
since u post here many member just curious and open this site too and scam is succesfull LOL. maybe it just technical error coz its new and still beta test  Grin

I would also like to know what will they do to protect their users and if they are serious srevice at all if they are supporting suspicious and shady websites like this is.

haven't even visited the site yet but by how you described it, seem like it not working well.  how can that amount be considered a loan when you can't even withdraw it. if you get to repay it with interest in the end, then sure you can consider it a scam.

At first I thought that too but somehow it makes no sense. They gave me the loan but I can't withdraw it or repay it. But where is the catch, what they have of it?

I think they want you to lend someone first after your sign up.
Every lending site has some hidden catch or the other.

But I would suggest you to stay away from such service as you won't be able to monitor any of the lending activities in case you lend someone.
I have already given up those lending services since BTCJam's several loan defaults.

I haven't heard of that site until you mentioned it now. I actually know every single legitimate lendig sites available in bitcoin community but not that one so I am not sure if their service works fine. If you are looking for just a small loan you can use the forum lending instead, just provide a valid collateral and you should be fine.
