I've seen their thread before (which is in archived now). Honestly on first look their website looks good in eyes but you can see in the content particularly at the bottom which "No registration" it contradicts their Signup and Login button as seen from above post ^^^

Locking the thread or keeping moderated to avoid questions or constructive criticism only shows that they are hiding something or sketchy. I am not sure how many people have already tried their service and how much it's worth but I would definitely avoid using this site for two reason.

1. Shady/Sketchy behavior in the forum.
2. Contradicting content. What they are promoting contradicts on what they have in their website.

We are more than happy to receive the constructive criticism, but all we faced were baseless claims, please check the first posts where members are trash selling in our threads for no reason.

I will quote the first 3 posts

Instant exchange? Meaning that people that wants to exchange will first deposit into the addresses that you control and you can seize the coiny, which makes the scammer to be able to go away with the coins, while people that wants to exchange will lose and become a scam victim.

Edit:
The exchange domain was just registered less than 3 months ago. It is better to just still try with low amount of money until the instant exchange gain good reputation.

We achieved an average transaction speed of 5 minutes to ensure you don't waste any time.
What guarantees it will keep running for 5 minutes when network traffic is high?

No registration
What's this for?

Where are you located, and how can you manage to offer your services without KYC? From what I have seen, almost every instant exchange out there can ask you to verify your identity if they notice a "suspicious activity".

What exactly was a baseless claim here?

And why was it so hard to positively respond to this with a cool head if you are legitimate? I have seen far worse questions and criticism. Maybe you just can't handle business or responding to critism/crisis. Hire someone who can.

We are more than happy to get the feedback and that's the reason why we constantly add more features based on users recommendations, but when posts are senseless trash selling comments that have 0 proof or meaning we have to make a stop to it and that's exactly what you can see in previous posts, where users make trash selling comments just because we're a new exchange i think that can't be fair.

I am a little surprised that you came to this community without any preparation, and that you do not seem to understand how online communities work. Therefore, I am going to have to mark this comment as manipulative and distracting from the real problem.

Please check the first posts and you would understand.
We tried reporting to moderators but we have got no response, that's why wanted to stop advertising our service since we can't fight baseless claims we had to close the thread.

That is bullshit! No serious business should be afraid of criticism. It does not matter what anyone says on the internet, as long as you can refute it with facts and arguments. If you cannot do that, then you are clearly not up to the job.

If there is any moderator reading this please check our threads and review the trash selling posts we're receiving, we would be happy to reopen our thread.

Have you ever heard of freedom of speech? I am sure we can all agree that nobody has the right to punish another person for expressing their opinion in a public forum. Is that what you want? In that case, you are in the wrong place.

Let me get this clear, you want to bump your topic but only with your comments... and you are not happy about total of 11 posts from other members in your original topic  Roll Eyes
Since you remain stubborn in creating duplicated locked topics, don't be surprised if you get banned soon for breaking forum rules.
You are free to create one topic and do whatever you want there, but don't expect anyone will use your service when you can't handle few simple questions and comments.
I can only imagine what would happen with unhappy customers with complain, they would probably be totally ignored.

I also noticed them a while back. In the first ANN they created, members asked a number of questions which were not well addressed. What they did was close the thread and then created a new "clean" one which was locked as well to create an impression that they have nothing negative about their instant exchange.

I think they are not honest about something or fear constructive criticism and want to hide behind a locked thread. It's a big red flag.

Bumping and locking the topic is an established method when trying to avoid discussion and where the OP is afraid that the negative aspects of his business will be discovered. I still maintain that Newbie members should be limited to opening a new thread only on beginners & help, meta and bounty sections. and that a locked topic loses bump power.
I already started the topic in Bump locked topic, should this be allowed?

Member cryptochanger.to and shady team from their service created new topic and they started with the same crap in self-moderated locked topic.
Now there are two same topics that are both locked and I am again reporting new one to moderators for breaking forum rules.
They failed to reply or explain anything here, so I am warning everyone to stay away from this potential SCAM exchange.
New topic for reporting:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptochangerto-instant-crypto-exchange-no-kyc-the-lowest-fee-05-only-5428104

Definitely suspicious behavior for an exchange. The company locked its service thread, making it impossible for customers to report problems and complaints, or discuss issues openly. So it seems as if they are afraid of a little healthy criticism.

They are now trying to delete the first thread, where members could openly discuss their service:
a new thread will be created

We will close this thread

I added another neutral tag to their profile, although I wish it could be negative to warn potential victims.

The good news is that the mods deleted their new thread and left the old thread that has lots of questions  Cheesy
If their mission was to bury something, then I guess it won't be possible?

IMO, a neutral tag is Ok for this case. It should be more than enough for anyone who does their own research before using the service.

I hope you have reported both threads at a minimum. I honestly consider 99% of the sites or people that make a thread and immediately lock it so no one can comment a scam. I understand it's useful to lock certain topics, but not a service topic.
Yeah I did report older topic they created and it appears moderators finally deleted it.
Now let's wait and see if they will try to create new topic or open old one that is still locked.
I am still keeping my neutral feedback on their profile.

I think they are not honest about something or fear constructive criticism and want to hide behind a locked thread. It's a big red flag.
Obviously they don't want to talk with others and answer questions, so you can imagine what would happen if you run into problems using their exchange...

It certainly does look and feel like a scam.
As we have all discussed if it looks and sounds too good to be true it probably is not.
Add in the hostility of the operators and it just screams fraud / scam.
I suspect they are shady but I can't prove anything and I don't know anyone who used this exchange to say pros and cons.
If anyone used them they can post if everything worked ok or not.

They claim that bitccointalk forum is unmoderated?! Very inconvenient for them  Roll Eyes
Surely they do not like the necessary questions that they are being asked about their exchange because they probably have something going on behind the scenes that they want to hide, if they are legitimate it'll be convenient for them to answer any question they are asked, no matter how annoying the questions seems.

In their service topic they claim to have launched on many online forums, but refused to name them when asked to, but went ahead to lock the topic, i don't trust their service, i feel they want to use "no KYC" to convince people to use their service.

Or it is legit and because of the no KYC it's going to get hit with some sort of AML violations.

Did anyone noticed Cryptochanger.to exchange topic in Service Announcements?
They created topic on November 11 and they are updating it all the time with some bogus shitcoins addition, but they are always keeping thread locked, and don't allow any questions or conversation:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptochangerto-no-kyc-instant-cryptocrypto-exchange-the-lowest-fees-05-5420515

cryptochanger.to member:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/cryptochangerto-3515460

I think is is borderline scam behavior and I think member who posted this topic should be given negative feedback for this, but I want to ask other DT members first.
That is why I added my neutral review until I hear from you guys, so please examine this ''exchange'' and see if people should be warned about cryptochanger.to.

We will close the thread since the forum is unmoderated which is inconvenient.
