Hi everyone,  i want to store my crytpcoins offline in cold storage for many years and wait for them to raise in value then sell back... So what do you think of installing desktop opensource wallets for my coins(eg:  wallet for each coin ripple,  doge, dash...) on an external hardrive or ssd and keep it always offline in a drawer then get it online only for occasional use ?
and by the way which is best ? hdd or ssd ? (dont wanna use usb drive)
For me your best option is to store it onto an external hard drive(hdd) so that it is more compact and easy to get when you need it. I don't recommend what you are gonna do though because one must be fast in buying and selling an altcoin that is not well known. But if you are doing it just because you are confident that your stash have future, continue your plan and be updated on crypto news.
