from cursory glance seems bobbax same user as operator of cryptokk exchange

In that post you linked, I am offering XMR for people to go to #tippero IRC chat room, where the profits donate to the devs. Please remember at that time Monero gambling was a brand new thing, we were all very enthusiastic about any new development.

Looks like he stole about 50 000 USD worth. Not too bad for a few months, but don't forget he can probably relaunch with a new skin on the software and a new Newbie account and scam some more people.

Bobbax's phone number, which I promised to keep private (but obviously I do not feel tied by this promise anymore) is  0622150740. This is a French mobile number. Due to Charlie Hebdo events, police doesn't record complaint after 8 PM and today I had a general meeting (unrelated to crypto). Today, Il go back to the police station to see if I can register a complaint (it will be hard to explain, though). And if they are closed to the public on Sunday, I'll try again on Monday.

I talked with him on the phone (French mobile phone) on several occasions and for hours, including for debugging the site - accent was clearly French, not Belgian, Swiss or Quebec or Africa or foreigner. We also agreed to meet. First the 7th, then I had to postone to the 30th at the last minute because the places I wanted to show him were closed on week-end.

He basically abused me and since I put my reputation on this, you can imagine I feel very bad.

That video clearly states Bobbax Hotel or something.  That would be too much of a coincidence if it wasnt related.  Someone save that video locally, Im not sure how.

yah, i apologize for my jump to conclusions. Innocent until proven guilty and all that. From what I've gathered of this crypto world, there are a lot of scams, so that plus the new account makes it an easy (perhaps lazy) deduction... but yeah, perhaps things are different than what they seem, and perhaps he will come back and say "whoops here's your money".

I tend to agree with this.  Just wait until we start talking about Gendarmerie (Police) involvement, he might quickly turn up and say "I was hacked." lol

For any confidential conversations we have IRC if the need arises.

On the other hand if you guys are going into the correct direction quickly, seeing this he might decide to come back while it is still possible to arrange things smoothly.

The "o-w-o.info" email addresses are part of a registration privacy offer, so not a throwaway, same goes for phone number and address on the whois.

The videos train-of-investigation is good, and seems promising.

Thus the creator of cryptocoins-dice.com likely also owns OVH.net and is impersonating it to be a apart of OVH.com. If we could find out who allowed ovh.net to be a registrar we might be able to get his true identity.

Cryptocoins-dice.com (investing, not gambling). The admin is legit, I have his phone number and I'll get his ID, we talked a lot and will physically meet (as well as a lot of other Bitcoiners to testify) on the 30th of March. Estimated APR (based on statistics for just-dice): 50% Sure, as long as multisig is not implemented in Monero, there are risks. Not that other assets like GAWminers are better.

I saw a post by David where he said he and a few other BTCTalk members have met him. And they were going to have a copy of his ID soon, but hadn't obtained it yet. I'll search for it when I get on my PC again.

As far as I know David never met with him.  They were going to meet last weekend or the weekend before but it got postponed.

So shitty. I can't believe this just happened. David Latapie has said he has met him in person and trusted him. Maybe David has some extra information.
