This is alarming. They have started to hacked exchanges since 2018.

And the hackers seems to have well planned on how to enter victim's informations. Impersonating high rank position within tbe company and sending emails to the victims to hack  their accounts, no wonder they have been successfully hacked too many exchanges.

has anyone being a victim of sudden disappearance of coin from exchange wallet ?

So far, I never experienced that until now. But I do a lot of emails phishing links claiming to be one of those exchanges that I have been using. Good thing I don't click links hastily. Better for us to be vigilant especially when we have crypto coins stored in our crypto wallets.

According to a Cybersecurity company named "ClearSky" A cybercriminal group "Cryptocore" has allegedly stolen around $200 million from cryptocurrency exchanges over the past two years. Targetting around 10 to 20 victims around the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. The hackers used spear-phishing threats to get access to the wallets of crypto exchanges. In certain instances, they might have the direct email addresses of selected individuals.

The article reveals that "typically" spear-phishing attacks are performed by imitating employees, mostly those of us with a high-ranking position within the organization or from another organization such as the advisory board.
