Hmm not really but.
You can import jaxx private keys in trazor and vise varsa .
But the thing is only use this very safely.
I have seen lots of members are loosing bitcoins after they export their private keys.
so always try to do this method offline and delete the private key after use.

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to save same Cryptocurrency e.g. bitcoin, ETH, DASH , etc. in different wallets in the same time something like saving it under App Wallet (Jaxx) and Cold Wallet ( Trezor ) in the same time.

Thanx,

Yes as what they said Exodus wallet can. But I think that wallets also has risk. As we all know, Bitcoin trading or wallet or any activity regarding is an issue of the government since it is an option for money laundering and illegal transactions. Which means, that wallet companies may also close down and your cryptocurrencies might go down with it.

My point is, if you can diversify your coins and cryptocurrencies into different wallets, then that would be better.  Better in such a way that you were able to diversify your coins and minimize the risk.

Thanks
So to avoid this company issue all what I need to do is to keep my BTC and other ALTS under a desktop wallet and hardware wallet as well , is this correct

present in the market we have so many of wallets to keep save our coins. so once you try to that type of wallets. more coins keeping in one wallet is not good so try to invest in to another wallet. we have more private keys and secure keys so you keep secure that keys. trezor and mycelium and electreum are the best wallets so you keep your coins in those wallets. they are best to keep secure.

Pretty much of a wallet that you want multiple coins to be place over just one wallet, I highly recommend to hold multiple coins on a multiple wallet, for security purposes you don't wanna put all of your coins on one wallet do you? and web wallet was not the secured wallet one can simply place all his bitcoin and Altcoins, Trezor can be great for bitcoin and the other coins in their most appropriate wallet that you has a possibility to store.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

excellent, this is what i am talking about.

So first I have to send my funds to the primary wallet let's say app wallet, then export the private key to another different wallet e.g. cold one.

thanks,

Yes, and @mocacinno is right, make sure that your primary wallet has this feature to export private keys or else you can't do that because there are wallets doesn't have this feature.

And FYI, exporting private keys will cause you big risks, because once someone knows your private keys there is a big chance that your coins will be lost or will be stolen from you. So once you exported it, save it in a safe place and make sure you encrypt the file where you save this key.

I think you can keep your altcoin in trezor,
It's very safe as long as your key is in your own hands
And you can save altcoins there

Indeed, however, it might be a good idear to first check if your primary wallet allows you to export private keys, and if your secondary wallet allows you to import  them before transferring funds.
If you're uncertain about anything, i always suggest to pick 2 testnet wallets, claim some testnet BTC and experiment on the testnet...

Also it is important to tell you that if somebody is able to get their hands on an unencrypted private key, he/she is able to spent all unspent outputs controlled by this private key (in other words: he/she can rob you blind). Always keep this in mind while manipulating private keys!!!

Thanks,

But my query is to save same coin in different wallets at the same time so I can access it through app wallet or through Cold wallet, is this possible?

You're refering to storing the same private key in different wallets?

If this IS your question, the answer is "YES", most wallets allow you to export your private keys in some way or another, and a lot of wallets allow you to import private keys...

for example, if you create a wallet using bitcoin core, generate a new private key/public key/address, then send funds to this address => you can export the private key that was used to generate this address and import it into (for example) electrum.
From this moment, you can spend those unspent outputs using bitcoin core and electrum, but as soon as you use either wallet to generate a transaction using the unspent outputs, the other wallet should no longer be able to use the same unspent output. If you created a transaction from both wallets, using the same unspent outputs, only one of the generated transaction could ever end up in a block, the other one would be invalid...

A final note would be that not ALL wallets have the functionality to export private keys, and not ALL wallets allow you to import private keys, but there are several out there that do have this functionality

Another wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies is the Exodus wallet. I don't recommend holding too much of your funds on ANY wallet but if you want a variety to observe your balances - Exodus wallet is great and you can pick from a number of great user interface skins too.
