What a charming statement. Does this mean that the Indian state has faith in the continued existence, proliferation and eventual domination of BITCOIN?? Or is he simply talking about using ethereum and IOTA tech for other, non-banking purposes?

if we need to keep the crypto market alive money should also be invested in alt coins.

Since the whole world is going behind bitcoins, the value has risen exponentially where even the experts cannot predict or forecast its net value.

Bitcoins holders can diversify their portfolio by investing in alt coins using their Bitgold and Bit cash.

I think what he meant is that while the Reserve Bank Of India will not be transacting in Bitcoin, they may still be using blockchain technology in different applications. Strange coming from a country that has government-issued cryptocurrency in the works (Laxmicoin), and is also home to a large mining network and some of the hottest token sales, like Nucleus.Vision

Yes, I believe that cryptocurrencies will not end and I agree that it is relaxing to know.  It also give me confidence to encourage other people to start investing also in bitcoin.  If more people will invest on it.  It will definitely not end.

“Our current position on bitcoins,” Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Executive Director, S Ganesh Kumar stated, “is that we will not be using it for any payments and settlements…though the technology underlying cryptocurrencies will not end.”

Mr. Kumar chose the Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai, home this year to one of Asia’s largest banking conferences to make his statement. “This annual flagship conference has become the marquee event in the calendar of members of the entire banking and financial sector fraternity in the country,” the conference’s website hyped.
