dont be greedy
Notification apps like these used to be very helpful for me when I was trying to be a day trader... unfortunately, i didn't use this app.. i used Tab Trader instead. However, after multiple failures and losses, I decided to focus solely on the long term. It seems like my mind as a day trader is too bad... so, i don't need this app anymore till i get my long term profit.

I'm sure many people still use this app just to monitor prices. It's strange if their emotions get disrupted by receiving such price information. isn't a trader's strategy planned from the start?.. so, dealing with volatile prices shouldn't affect professional traders. The key is to use the app according to the trading needs they have.

This helped me these days when bitcoin was going up because I set it to get information. Once the price reached the alerting point I would just got alert and check trading view to see if it is correct and when I would checked all would be accurate. And that is why I also recommended to you after the first time I used it to get the alert.
I expect that you have a lot of free time or have constant access to the trading platform so that you can place orders after reading the notifications. Otherwise, these notifications will represent more psychological pressure because you will not be able to access your device every time the price notification is available.
Trading automation is best done by trading bots, which guarantee you much better results than receiving real-time notifications.

So how does it actually help you, then? You're informed that the price has reached a certain point, you proceed to TradingView to confirm it, and yes it's correct, and then? You get back to whatever you're doing?

I don't know with others here but I've long stopped alerting myself of the prices. I used to when I tried trading. I stopped years ago with a little disappointment, and so now I already find price alerts of little use. I've now been hodling and I don't care much if I'm not informed of the price for weeks.

I guess the title says it all, It's just a notification, just to notify us and keep us informed and that's it. It's purpose is to keep us updated all the time.
We're quite like the same, I am also a hodler so I'm aiming for long term so price notification is just not too useful for me, it will just annoy me but for some traders maybe it is very useful and convenient for them.

This is the best way to increase unnecessary anxiety and stress. if you are a trader program trading bots instead of worrying about the price.
There are some free solutions that often give you notifications of the price to your email, from which you can link it to the watch and get alerts.
I found this service https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/alerts/email on a Google search, although one can easily program such a script.
cryptocurrencyalerting give you more options like SMS, telegram message,..etc

Getting bitcoin price alert isn't the key to  success in trading and the alerts wouldn't make profit for you. Trading needs skills and how you can come up with your own strategy on making profit. Sometimes this alert can lead you to great loss because you will be unstable in your thoughts which is harmful to your trading. I am not saying that it is bad to have an alert notifier on bitcoin price but it is when you don't have any idea on trading because you will run at loss. A bitcoin hodler can use this alerts to know when to increase his DCA amount and when he will reduce it.
You don't understand the Op so you are talking out of point, what you are saying is different from the op. And this clearly shows that you are posting for your signature campaign weekly quota. The Op is talking about how to receive notification when the price of bitcoin goes up and down and here you are talking about trading loss. Traders can use the notifier if only they are offline. And also to monitor the stop plus and take profit of the trading and that nis when they are going offline for a while or they are busy doing something else.

I always feel skeptical when you need to install unnecessary application like this one because you're giving a way for the developer to spy or collect your data.

I prefer to use Coinwink if I really want to get price notification [1] because it's open source and you can integrate through your telegram as they don't have mobile version.

checked it on playstore out of curiosity and saw some reviews on it that say it's a paid subscription? if so, I feel like the coingecko price alert feature on their platform would be far better than this. the crypto price alert feature on coingecko works on both mobile and browser, they have a step-by-step tutorial on how to set it up.

You can use it for free, but you would be limited to a few alerts/notifications: https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/pricing.html

I came across this service before, the main difference with Coingecko is that it offers more than pricing alerts (exchange listing, wallet watching, trading volume changes, gas prices, etc.)

If you want to get bitcoin price alert in you mobile phone or smartwatch, then you can install the price alert notification app and set the price either downtime or when increasing. This has been my mind for sometimes to receive notification when the price of bitcoin goes down and going up. So I decided to make a research on such website or app and I found out this one is reliable

Installing such apps is not the key to get bitcoin price alerts. Crypto App is the only app you will need. Download and customize the easiest to use, yet most advanced, crypto portfolio tracker, crypto news and converter app anywhere. Get real-time price alerts for every major token out there, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of other altcoins. Go to Settings > Notifications > Price Alerts. From the Price Alerts screen, you can choose to push alerts to your phone or alert you within the app only.

Rollbit is for you. Take $RLB token!
Trading, seriously said, will cause loss for most traders. The Price Alert Notifications will bring more real time price pings that will cause more pressure and you know, pressure is not good for your trading.

The more price alerts you get, the more pressure you will have and very possibly, more losses you will make from your tradings. It is worse because most of people who use price alerts are amateur, not professional traders so price alert effects will be more negatively.
