Crypto Swap Exchange
It's a cycle and it always has been for other things but casinos are always here. The altcoin and token and defi and dozens of small exchanges have come and gone.
So when the next big thing shows up the casinos will still be here, but there will be a lot of other campaigns for whatever that big thing is.
When that slows down / stops the casinos will still be here. Not worth reading more into it then that.

In the end it probably does not matter. If casinos went away something else would take their place. Looking here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61245149
Although there are a lot, most are not paying that much so at least for now, if you wanted to run a campaign for something and wanted to outbid the casinos it's not that expensive.

mixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over
There are still active ICOs nowadays but they are less common but not over yet. Additionally, we have derivatives or upgrades from ICOs, IEOs, IDOs, etc. and we will see more terms in future. Scammers are good to upgrade their terms and create new trends.

About gambling, you can explain it with possible factors
  • Cryptocurrencies are used popularly in online gambling because they are fast, transparent, verifiable (Provably fair) and cheap for tiny transactions that are matched with tiny bet value.
  • Gambling casinos get profit from their operations so that they can keep both their companies actively and their signature campaigns running a long time.

Quote
seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.
Sounds impressive but please, where did you get that information?

Quote
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
No, it was created as a Bitcointalk (Talk about Bitcoin) forum and will be like this in future. Gambling is only one of boards in the forum, just like Altcoins board.

Quote
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?
They are still existing but mostly in Bounties board. Very less altcoin projects run their advertisements in signature campaigns which are paid in BTC

Lastly, I disagree with you. Gambling casinos are not ruling in the forum. They are majority of active signature campaigns but have to obey forum rules and can not set up new rules.

Topic title should be changed!

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
no one knows what will happen next. and all of us here will not be able to know how long this trend will last. but one thing you have to remember, that you have answered your question in the top thread you have written.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
not like that. The bitcointalk forum was founded to discuss everything about cryptocurrencies since the first crypto was created (bitcoin). and crypto-based gambling are here to place ads that have been offered by the admin. so bitcointalk is not a gambling forum but better known as a cryptocurrency forum. it's just that the admin also provides a separate place for gambling and discussions about gambling

Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?
For this question I can not answer anything.

It is expensive to run a competitive signature campaign on this forum, so smaller projects can only do this for a short period and then they have to stop it. The Crypto casinos make a LOT of profit, because they do not have all the operating expenses of a Brick n Mortar casino.
That's true casinos can sustain a long campaign and they have proven that Bitvest and 777Coin are just some of the casinos with a record signature campaign, top casinos in the industry like Duelbits,Stake, Fortunejack are heading to a record phase campaign because they have a stable profit because of the Crypto casino booming

1. I think that signature campaigns will be held on this forum until the forum administration changes its vision, namely a loyal attitude towards freedom of speech and actions that do not violate the rights of other forum members.

2. this forum is primarily created for crypto-enthusiasts who support Bitcoin.

3. in my opinion altcoin signature companies on this forum will be less and less as the system of rewarding early supporters of projects has changed a lot lately - now they use ambassadors programs, PR platforms such as galxy and testnet.

It just happened that gambling related projects lasted longer than other projects especially in this forum. Way back 2017 there are various type of projects which circulated inside and outside this platform; some are health care related and others are online games or for entertainment purposes. But through the years which have passed, longest running projects are gambling related. Maybe gambling is really an undying activity to many people or simply it would be always timely to the eyes of investors which is why multiple projects still continue to pop up.

But for gambling industry to dominate this forum; I guess it won't. There are many sections which are being talked about here, and not solely for projects. Most of the people here came to exchange knowledge and opinion with other users.

I really don't see this trend ending anytime soon because people really love talking games and gambling in general.
This forum is a crypto based for  and whatever is crypto based is free and permitted  to be discussed over here, so if we have most of this casinos having a trend over here and also having a signature campaign, then nothing is actually wrong with it and referring to the forum as a gambling forum isn't nice

I don't really think this alt coins might thrive anytime soon because it only did when people haven't had enough knowledge of those coins but that doesn't mean there aren't casinos using alt coins but they aren't much as compared to before.

No really, the growth of altcoins doesn't stop and ICOs are just one of their selling methods that over time transforms. Casinos are a completely different business orientation than offering utility products, there is no future prospect value to worry about. What players think is a betting strategy to make their fun last longer if they win.

They have their own boom room, and their forums are separated into separate boards that don't interfere with each other.

This is not a gambling forum though, it just so happen that bitcoin or any other crypto is "digital money', just like fiat so it's just a matter of time that online casino's are going to pop up that is going to accept crypto and that's what happen in the last 2 years or so.

But I will say that there are a lot of gamblers here, whether they are really hard core before they found out about bitcoin or just members who become gamblers because they had to as part of their 'job' to promote certain sports bookies and casinos.

Cryptocurrency Casinos are booming while the altcoin section is deteriorating because investors are wiser now, online casinos' campaigns are long-term because they are building their brand while ICO projects can only last a few months after their crowd sales, this is still a Bitcoin forum because active topics and sections are not all about gambling there are still a lot of good sections, Bitcointalk is a forum about Cryptocurrency and all related products and services.

There are a lot of gamblers here in the forum that is why this is the one that they could get a person to sign up in their gambling website though they are still in social media but i think the audience there is a lot but not too many signing up . Here in the forum if those gamblers saw their website they will try to sign up as that is new and would like to see if there are new features in the website

It will, unless theymos make a decision to remove all of the signature campaigns which I think a big loss to the forum so I highly doubt it will be stopped.

From the very beginning days of cryptocurrency usage, this is common. Because, gambling industry is a big contributor during the early days of cryptocurrency. The same is getting continued and the same trend will continue, the existence of cryptocurrency accepted platforms keeps counting. Apart from the usage into gambling, the real-time usage on daily needs too increasing slowly. In all means there is a balanced move which will keep the market flourishing.

I think it's just obvious that when a company launches a crypto-gambling platform, the best place to market it is on the biggest crypto forum.

Unlike also other companies, crypto-gambling platforms really need to launch any kind of marketing and promotion in order to attract users and since the signature campaign is one of the good marketing methods here, that was considered a form of effective marketing.

The competition is also tight as there are lots of gambling sites out there that's why all forms of marketing should be considered.

Some of the people who comment and contribute to the gambling section in this forum are still active in other boards. bitcointalk will not be known as a gambling forum because even the name itself does not reflect any form of gambling. The gambling section just happens to be one of the very active boards and that has attracted online casinos. There are still other very active boards where discussions are always on. It cannot remain only casinos that run signature campaign here in this forum, in the future we'll see more of campaigns from different sources than just online casinos.

I don't consider it a trend but it's just that the number of companies entering the crypto-gambling grows over years.

That was a usual and expected growth since the gambling industry is one of the biggest industries in the world.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?

Obviously, no. There are lots of active sections here aside from the gambling section.

It's just that you mostly lurk here in this section that's why you have noticed that might be the busiest section here and considered already the whole forum as a gambling forum.

Signature campaigns seem very effective on many sites, though not all succeed on this but majority of them are still in this market. Yes, majority of the campaign are more about a gambling site which we see as a trend.

There’s also a lot of altcoins campaign, we might not appreciate it if we are not participating on it, better if we ask hunters if they are still making good money with the altcoins bounty.

Well, in fact bitcointalk gambling boards shows at as first rank in first page  when searching google using this keyword "crypto gambling forum" and "bitcoin gambling forum".

This is true and great to know. I tried it myself just now and the first in ranking is this gambling board. No wonder casinos are always coming here to promote their business. It is possible for anyone looking for gambling forum to locate here.
Second in the google ranking is stake forum. I didn't know that stake forum is so active to occupy the second spot at the google indexing.

You forgot bestchange. It's not a casino but it was like an exchange though chipmixer is older than them. Lately there is a mixing service here and others but I bet they won't last any longer. The one's that usually last longer here are gambling sites. That's because gambling is a booming industry and will continue to do so now that the internet is accessible in the palm of our hands.

Ico days are over but in the past days where it is still relevant, they are only being promoted in the bounty section and not in the service section which pays in bitcoin. Same goes with ido and ieo or the trends which are next to ico. That's because those projects has their own token and that is the medium that they use to pay their participants.

I don't think BTT will ever be associated with gambling. If you leave this section you will find that gambling is a minor part of the forum. The fact that the forum is dominated by gambling advertising is only a consequence of the fact that projects have restrictions on advertising through traditional channels. Plus, there is a lot of target audience.

As far as altcoin signature campaigns, obviously they have their own board and probably most of us are not familiar sign we prefer Bitcoin paying campaigns. But I don't think that this community will be known as gambling forum per se. It is still known as "Bitcointalk", meaning everything under bitcoin could be discussed here.

And this has been the trend for most bitcoin paying campaigns, majority of them are into gambling, even before majority of us who joined here, circa < 2017.

Alt sig campaigns are still ongoing. But I can agree if in terms of assurance of payment, only btc-paying campaigns here are highly recommended.
There are few long-running campaigns like the mentioned chipmixer, bestchange, gold stablecoin, but yes, most btc-paying are gambling sig campaigns.
Bitcointalk is still accommodating all kinds of campaigns, and remember, it is only one perks of this forum.
This forum was not built because of these campaigns, but to serve crypto enthusiasts with various valuable discussions not only in crypto.
It is just that most casinos are the ones who are financially capable of paying btc to their participants. Which means, they are doing good in their business.

Nothing last forever is a popular saying, but indeed, crypto casinos are booming, this i agree with you, and for how long this will continue is something we all can speculate about, but my guess is that its likely to last for many many years, since gambling is an industry that's growing each and every passing year.

No, though gambling and cryptocurrencies can continue to co-exist on this forum, gambling have its board and cryptocurrencies have its own board too, i think it will continue to remain this way for a long time, this forum can never become "mainly" gambling forum.

Altcoin signatures are still very much available, just that users no longer give it attention since most of them (if not all) are not profitable, most of them are outright scam using this forum through signature campaign to reach more audience who also is their potential victims, and most times , they end up not paying the users that promoted them, this is why forum users now flock to Bitcoin paying signature campaigns.

I haven't yet come across a website or community with millions of persons interested in cryptocurrencies like you find here. Everyone in the forum has some connection to cryptocurrencies and a reason for being in the forum. There is no better place for crypto casinos to promote their brands than right here. Since Google has already prohibited cryptocurrency-related ads, I'm confident that this signature advertisement for crypto casinos will continue for a very long time because I don't see Google changing its mind anytime soon.

Don't forget that there is still an altcoin campaign that has been running for years and is still surviving, namely Gold Stablecoin
If another business sees that there is an opportunity to gain exposure to its website it may be that a different business will advertise on this forum through a signature campaign, but that's only a possibility until we see it actually happen.
However, promoting altcoins in this forum seems to be difficult because most of them are not legit.
Campaign Gold Stablecoins are the only ones that last for long term campaigns but they have few participants and monthly payments (if I'm not mistaken). I appreciate that they are the longest running altcoin campaign in this forum and I am sure that the project will get good feedback from the impact of that campaign. But it is difficult for altcoin campaigns/bounties to grow again because most altcoins from projects are not legal, and now many top new projects are changing promotion patterns to provide incentives for participants to take tesnet, feedback, swaps and more. So it seems that many members are hunting to become part of the gambling campaign because of the weekly payouts and the long-term running of the campaign.

This is wonderful. The campaign was first announced in July 2019 and it is still running till today. I don't know that a bounty campaign can last this long. It is a good one. There are some facts one will get to know everyday or some forgotten that we get reminded of in this forum.

There's no way of telling how long the trend of crypto signature campaigns would last since we don't know when will other crypto services are planning to set up their signature campaign.

Some of the signature campaigns coming from the alt section were good back then but now they have more ways to promote their crypto aside from signature campaigns here in the forum so I doubt we'll see them come back. On the other hand, we could see more campaigns potentially pay altcoins similar to how BK8 shifted their payments from BTC to Tether.

Yes I think so, gambling is helping this forum. If not for the gambling sites that are advertising their services on this forum, this forum traffic would have reduced.

Bitcointalk is a bitcoin forum, but we can also say it is a gambling forum because most of the campaigns belong to gambling sites, but that does  not change that this forum is a bitcoin forum, the best you can get about bitcoin is from this forum.

I do not think altcoins can be like before, there can be some campaigns during bull run, but it seems more that gambling will dominate for long. The days of altcoins dominance is over.

There's best change as well that isn't chipmixer and a few other signatures that aren't related directly to gambling.

I think it's a matter of time before we see new campaigns coming out for different products (perhaps altcoins, exchanges, or crypto related services).

I remember one of the altcoin signature campaigns being malware though too and it seemed quite well paid - that was probably the reason. A lot of ICOs that are well advertised don't make profits for a long time and a lot that are poorly advertised need to be timed well so people probably exited because of that.

I also remember bitmixer and yobit seemed quite easy to enter which also took up a lot of signature space here for a while - they might also have had some role in deterring coinmakers and other companies from competing here - a 3 month ico campaign you have to be accepted into over a quick copy and paste task is probably not going to convince people to wait to be accepted.

One main reason I see is because crypto casinos are popping off literally almost everywhere every single day. It's hard to make your brand recognized without some form of advertising like signature campaigns. Bitcointalk is like the main hub for all things crypto and bitcoin, and once you get the word out from here, there is a huge possibility that your platform will be referred to another people of which the referral will come from here. Previously signature campaigns were dominated by ICOs and IEOs and all that stuff during the boom of those things, but eventually, the gambling campaigns outnumber them just because gambling is the same old story but with always a different face and a different feel for them.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
Let's start with the fact that not all signature campaigns are casinos. From time to time there's an altcoin signature and there are some unpaid campaigns or campaigns where you advertise the manager and he shares profits with you...
There used to be a few mixer campaigns but those other mixers got scared of possible legal action against them. It's not that only casinos want to use this form of advertising but there are some entities that actively fight crypto businesses and casinos mostly managed to avoid these attacks.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?

It depends on legality of bitcoin. If there's a framework in place more businesses will pop up and decide to advertise.
They will for sure. Altcoins usually flood the forum in bull market and get quiet in bear.

Bounty campaigns still the majority of business here in the forum if you will compared the number of active campaigns on bounty board to the bitcoin marketplace service board. It's just many high rank and quality poster user preferred campaigns that pays in Bitcoin because it guarantee payment while bounty campaign reward rokens has no certainty that it will have value after the campaign.

The forum is about Bitcoin. And since we use BTC in casinos then gambling is also discussed. Anything related to crypto can be advertised in the forum for now we are not seeing yet some e-commerce sites doing a signature campaign but it could happen in time.

The forum ad auction of Theymos I think caught the attention of some companies other than casinos or crypto projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?

Don't make us look like an instant fortune tellers or speculators. These question are out of hand of every user here, you will only hear a yes or no answer and some speculations backed of words without any valid proofs.

No that is not my intention in creating this thread I mean no harm or put anyone in a bad position, if you think that this thread is hurting your feeling, please just ignore this thread, this is a forum we are in an open discussion if you have a valid point that I created this thread to put members in a bad position, please state it,  I am ready to lock this thread.
Don't be a selective reader, the other question(s) doesn't reflect the whole thread for a discussion. There's no even malice in my answer of the speculative question you have. I'm just telling the possiblity of the outcome/answers of that question. And yeah, i will just probably ignore the whole thread if its totally nonsense but it's actually not.

I think it will continue until google Adwords starts accepting gambling-related ads which is highly unlikely. Google back in 2018 if I remember bans crypto-related ads that also affected the crypto market in the bear market. One reason I believe casinos advertised in the forum is that demographics tell them that the target users are in the forum as well.

It is only natural because gambling is one of the best and most preferred use cases of the crypto currencies. I think there are many more people that use crypto for gambling than for buying stuff or transferring wealth.

And It is not a bad thing or a fault of the crypto. People simply love gambling. If there was another choice, people would use that too. Right now nothing beats crypto when it comes to gambling. It is fast, almost anonymous and reliable.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
You mean crypto gambling forum? Well, obviously, most casino accepting cryptocurrencies made an ANN thread here and runs signature campaign later on because their target users are mainly came from here, so i will say yes.
Bitcoin gambling and crypto gambling subreddit are nothing compare the users/topics/discussion on the gambling board.

Well, in fact bitcointalk gambling boards shows at as first rank in first page  when searching google using this keyword "crypto gambling forum" and "bitcoin gambling forum".

With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
