Dear community, I need your advice all. so long story short I have a colleague in a private company where I work. I tell my first journey in this forum, how to get started, how to earn here and some other questions related to this forum.

When talking about earning without spending capital (money), frankly I say that to get free money on this forum by promoting a project or joining an Airdrop. I also say there is no guarantee after promoting a project can generate (money) for you. as I know that there are many types of fraudulent projects although not all projects end like that.

And My Friend has around $30k in capital and is planning to invest in crypto. I recommend BTC for the first choice and tell some of my current investments such as AXS, BNB and MATIC (I bought 3 altcoins when the price was low). other than that, AXS has reached its new ATH, while the last ATH for BNB and MATIC is around May.
My question is it safe to invest BTC at the current price?
Do you have any other Altcoin options?

The answer very much depends on how much the person needs the $30k.

Is it just play money for him? Or is it actually something that he needs in the very near future?

If the latter I would recommend against investing in crypto altogether. Only if he can afford to lose all of it should he even consider putting some away into crypto. In terms of your question of if BTC is a guaranteed profit making undertaking, the answer is a clear no. Markets fluctuate every single day.

I would not invest in any NFT related projects, including AXS right now. $30k is not a small amount so perhaps larger cap projects like Solana and Cardano would make sense.

Investing in a coin called BTC, in my opinion, will always be safe and has no effect on the price. When people consider the current price of BTC to be expensive, but if you buy at the current price, I think there is also no need to hesitate if you experience a decrease in price because BTC is one of the most promising coins in terms of investment.

The good time to buy bitcoin is when the price is declining. However if you plan to hold for long period then any price is ideal since you're not investing for short term. We know anything is possible to happen, the price can turn upward or downward unexpectedly. But there's no such thing as "safe" when you're investing because its risky, thus better to have less expectation when you invest your hard-earned money.

Do you have any other Altcoin options?
Well established altcoins are my choice but still DYOR to be certain. There are also gem on new coins however its not easy to spot it.

Don't you tell your friends to learn about crypto before try to invest in crypto? this will better than let your friend to invest without any knowledge about that. At least he must not take wrong price as his entry point.
My question is it safe to invest BTC at the current price?
For bitcoin is yes as there was possibility for bitcoin to growth even more. The real competitor for bitcoin was gold and you can compare how much marketcap owned by bitcoin and gold. Bitcoin potentially to go to the 100k or even more. It's better to spend a few percents into the altcoin rather than putting all into the bitcoin.
Do you have any other Altcoin options?
You can try to pick top 50 coins or less. There's no guarantee for the instant profit. The only best coins to be catched with low market valuation.

Before investing in cryptocurrency you must look at different aspects. What are the conditions in the market for the few investments you want to make? How popular?Seeing how strong the team is and its popularity around the world then you must invest.Currently many projects are becoming scams. Never invest in yourself without judging.

Bitcoin is too high. But it's not that you can't make a profit from bitcoin. It depends on how much money you want to invest. If it's big, there's no harm in storing most of it in bitcoin. Because it will still be profitable. And 50% of it you can invest into altcoins that you believe in the future can produce greater profits.

Its never too high, if its too high then no point to invest on entire cryptocurrency since it would be decline anytime soon. Just invest it after some dips come, so u can start accumulate it safer.
I dont really believe much on the word safe here on cryptospace or even on traditional investments because on the time you had step your foot into this market then prepare to get burned.

Risk is always there and its always been part of investment and thats why we shoupd really ba careful with our decisions. This isnt something that you would really be confident on.

The rest of learning will depend on real experience that you'll get along the way.

I think it is not a good time for Bitcoin investment becouse now bitcoin have Bullish mode, so you can wait and also maximum altcoin now pumped, previous some month was golden time for investment.

If its really bullish, then its probably would be more favor to be invested, its easier to make a profit when its on bullish rather its on bearish mode. But even people think its on bullish mode, its would be another bullish trap and we can see another rejection soon, but i hope its really a bullish and we would see a great rally soon.

If you ask me this is the right time to enter the market? I will say maybe not because the ATH of BTC is around $65K which happened a long ago but now the price is around $58 so not much difference between its all time high so incase if the bear trend begins now the price may fall harder to its previous ATH which is $20K or even further so it will take lot of courage and patience to get from that position.

Yes, Bitcoin is very safe now but the the leverage is very low cause the high market cap, but I can still recommend Bitcoin.
A good and safe Altcoin option is Litecoin Cash. It has lost over 99%. So it's very cheap. And massivly undervalued.
Litecoin Cash is the brother of Litecoin and is correlating since 2021 with Litecoin. There is a lot of development there. Take a look on CoinMarketCap, whitepapers and so on...

invest in btc is safe even though it looks high-priced and it is yeah high-priced but still safe ,ethereum is still the main choice in altcoins so I recommend it ,you also know that there are many altcoins and your friends can invest in with high quality ,bnb sol ,but have to be honest with the risk that you might lose if one day a crash occurs must remain calm say it to your friend

There are also NFTs coins that show a quite promising profit over time too.

I don't think it's appropriate to suggest that a newbie goes straight into NFT, because NFT is something new that may still lack a method to research what kind of NFT he should buy in order to have value in the future.

For OP, the altcoin suggestions given are quite good, they have a large market and a fairly strong community, except for AXS which is still relatively new, but the adoption of AXS games is already quite popular, it should be an alternative for your colleagues. However, always remind him, about risk management of his investments, if he already have experience in trading, maybe you don't need to do this.

When BITCOIN was launched in 2009, no one knew that Bitcoin would reach this height. But it takes time to adopt any new technology. People have adopted the bitcoin and everyone is aware of the current situation. Yes but if you are new understand crypto first. Learn from EXPERT, understand. And invest using your own intelligence. Start small. And go ahead and understand. The rest of the future is spectacular. The future of crypto is coming. That's what I believe.
Few knew it. Surely they are hella lucky to buy more than a whole of Bitcoin in less than a thousands of USD. I wished I was like those though, but my misinterpretation got into me.
Some are considering to have mentorship, but you do not need that actually. Just go self-taught and you will be fine.

Nothing is safe in any investment because you will face the risk, which always comes at anytime. But bitcoin will have the potential to increase so high in the future, so your friend can invest in bitcoin anytime he wants. Maybe he can divide his funds into many parts and not buy bitcoin at once to get a lower price and hold it for some time. He needs to know how long he will hold bitcoin to sell his bitcoin when the time comes.

For the altcoins, maybe I can suggest buying Matic, ADA, TRX or other low coins prices that can increase. Maybe you can help him suggest the other coins because sometimes, a friend will listen to the other friend closest to them.

There's a lot of things you can do without spending money here or participating to bounty campaigns or airdrops. You can sell things or offer service here. About the investment I think it is safe to invest to BTC but I think you should wait a little longer for some correction it's always good to buy at correction phase rather than in ATH or uptrend market.

I suggest SOL and DOT. You can do your own research about this coins.

My question is it safe to invest BTC at the current price?

It's best to wait when the Bitcoin price drops a little more or below $50k. and last for the long term.

For Altcoin options I prefer Cardano (ADA). With the capital you mentioned I think you can buy more than one Altcoin for investment.

Bitcoin will be the price reference for all altcoins, currently the price of bitcoin is quite high, but is predicted to continue to increase along with the acceptance of bitcoin by various countries, but it must be reminded that if there is a decrease in the price of bitcoin you must have a strong mentality to keep holding bitcoin and waiting for the next price increase.
Investing in bitcoin with its present price at $57,283 is something of a high risk so you should know how to manage the risk. But you won't be buying the whole coin so maybe buy even a little portion of it and hold it until you see the price is already in its peak. And by that time, you'll definitely make profits. When it comes to altcoins, i think you miss investing in ethereum. Don't forget to add it in your portfolio since its also heading into its new ATH. But never expect that you will make quick profits from your investments because sometimes when you think you're almost there, then a sudden market crash happens so it will really test your patience on how you will handle the situation.

If you want to invest in cryptocurrency, you must do a lot of analysis. You need to invest in coins that are in a very good position. You are always 1 in the market cap direction Up to 50 coins can be considered for investment. wants to invest the coin to see how strong the project team. Also consider the more good aspects then you need to invest in cryptocurrency.

I would not advise you to resort to any kind of financial advice. The market is very hot, any move you make can lead to the loss of a lot of money.
However, this does not mean that you should not invest. Study the market yourself, study opinions, study projects, and you yourself will understand where you can invest money with minimal risk.

Bounty campaign is like gambling there is really no guaranty that you can make money out of it, if the bounty that you promoted did not get enough funding the project may not push through, and there are bounty projects that failed to pay their bounty hunters they scam both their investors and bounty hunters, you are lucky if 20 of the bounty you promoted 2 of these are legit, and when it comes to investing the majority of coins in your portfolio should be coins that have proven their worth, you can allocate 20% on new coins.

to invest in bitcoin whenever you and your friends can do it, but you have to accept the risk of high prices at this time, and you are required to be patient if btc experiences a price drop below 45k$
for altcoins, I don't have much advice because investing in altcoins is very dangerous for me, the best altcotin is eth
for others coin  only for a short time

If you ask people on here for sure you'l get a mix of answers and suggestions...

Now, if you ask me, I'd say to you that Bitcoin will never reach 20K so if you want to invest in BTC (which I can only recommend after you made your homework and read a little about what it is etc) now might be a great time.

What I'm ultimately saying is that the long-term potential for BTC is likely huge, so if you wanted to be part of that it doesn't matter much whether you buy your BTC at 45 or 55K because you know that in the long-term this becomes irrelevant.

Getting into alts is relevant for the type of investor that doesn't just hold but changes and shops around various ones. If this fits the profile of your friend looking at top alt might be an option also but BTC (in my view) is by far the easiest and less hands on.

First off you should never promote altcoins before they have bitcoin in their portfolio.  If ypu aren't confident in bitcoin then you shouldn't be confident in any.  If bitcoin goes down so will every other coin.  Let them get their feet wet with bitcoin then slowly get into some other plays.  Any other strategy is gambling.

My question is it safe to invest BTC at the current price?
Yes, I think so, but just like a lot of people here would say, when asking about Bitcoin on a 'Bitcoin forum', you should not really expect anything other than positive responses, but tbh, I think every and any time is actually good to buy Bitcoin notwithstanding the price, especially when you're a long time investor as the price will definitely always appreciate back up after correction periods, so if you have plans of holding your Bitcoin for the long period, then buying now is a great idea.
Do you have any other Altcoin options?
My option for altcoins would always be ethereum, I consider it to be the only altcoin that looks more like a long term project, the thing is, I'm a long term investor so I usually prefer to choose coins that are sustainable for the long period, so having said that, it all depends on the kind of investor making the purchase, if it's a short term investor then smaller pump and dump coins could be an option, it's risky, but it can give returns pretty fast, and can also dump faster.

You are right that there are too many frauds to even think of them as a source of income, while this is also a forum anyway not an earning platform.
Is it safe to invest in BTC right now? Best time to invest was like a decade ago and the second best time is now. I do not bother with any alts right now to be honest, so I cannot give you an advice for that.
"The Best Time To Invest Was Yesterday, The Second Best Time Is Today" - [Source]

Therefore I gave a little explanation to my colleagues not to focus on free money. the rest leads to other positive things like my journey here and prioritizes reading, learning and understanding the forum first.
Actually I quite undecided about directing crypto investments, why?
1. The capital used is in large amounts, moreover it is not my personal money.
2. I am not a crypto expert, in fact I also lose more often than gain.
Does that mean there is still a chance? if I enter at the current price (BTC) ?

You get the points. Well always do things that make people interested and increase knowledge in this forum. Without even talking about income, you will find it by yourself. Enjoy what is presented here is the most useful thing for our brain consumption.
I emphasize do not believe 100% with what I suggest, but only for you to review and research again. Congratulations on doing further research.

Too bad you only say quantitative value about this forum. Why should you rely on income? actually when quality can explain everything and there is no need to state everything by participating with campaigns etc which makes it as if this forum has no other interest. See that in fact it will follow when we have quality, if relying solely on revenue means you are not empowering the purpose of the forum for much more useful discussion. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's a lot more valuable knowledge on this forum that you can't discuss out there.

As a suggestion, take a look at their project which seems good for you research. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.58171048
