I really am fond of Mithril and I am proud of my choice after hearing this news. I also very happy because many of my friends are already going to this concept.

So might now prefer Cryptos. And I agree too a lot of people have started taking Cryptos seriously.

Not really familiar with this coin but I'm happy to know that a certain cryptocurrency is now being recognized in the music industry. I hope the application of this coin will continue and be used in more of Ed Sheeran's concerts and other singers. This will be a very comfortable payment method for crypto users. Might lessen the commission of booking agents here.  Tongue

This is awesome news, blockchain and crypto like many comments above, i am crypto maximilist, crypto is here to stay. Mass adoption and acceptance is something no single one authority can control, borderless and decentralized will be the mainstay, what people needs.

I personally hold MITH holders, to bad I have to cash out most from the past weeks. But i believe it is one of the many undervalued crypto people should should look into.. Do your research though, i ain't professional trader nor financial expert.

I have a question, however it is very good to be accepted in such an organization. Currently we have more than 2000 cryptocurrencies by CMC. And everyone is turning to a different crypto. This can lead to a confusion as payment in the future. I think this is why SWAP projects that are entering our lives will be important. In this way, it will be easy to pay with a lot of crypto money and those who accept payment will be based on that SWAP project. We need powerful platforms like FIAT-CRYPTO-FIAT. At least for this transition process.

Probably a place too far…..  I wish they do same thing for other countries too, it would be nice to attend this. I really like Ed Sheeran and often follow him, but obviously Taiwan is just too far to even have thoughts of attending. Good luck to those who are going to be there!
My point exactly, I have seen a lot of conference I would have love to attend but they have been happening in places that will cost me a lot of money before I would be able to get to those location and I will not like to take those chances going to a place am not familiar with because I don't want to be stranded in any way, I think this conference should be broadcast life online via a platform so that we can still be a part of it from our location.

Okay, finally we have a real use for Mithril - buy Ed Sheeran tickets and spend all of your Mithrils.
I do not know nothing about Mithril but I do not care, maybe another super cool crypto that will save the planet? Oh come on.

Cryptocurrencies adoption is rising, no question at all. The government of various countries are also the reason behind this and of course, the big companies that too are joining hands.

Agreed!!! Cryptos adoption has doubled in last 12 months or so. Which seems really amazing for me given the price decreased so much. But it’s no rocket science that it’s not going to stop here at all.

It’s a very good move, I believe. MITH is already a pretty established name and with having it amongst the payment options for purchasing tickets is a good move and will work well. Anyone attending this concert?

Funny that I already booked my tickets using my CC! Had I knew they would have added Cryptos, I would have loved to use it for this

Not sure what to be surprised about here? Smiley Cryptos are Youth’s choice and so is the music, so having a name like MITH only adds to the pockets of the organizers!

For many, the world of cryptocurrency still feels distant; a cold and unknown place awash with jargon, and run by elite tech-heads. What most don’t realize is that the entire point of cryptocurrency is, in fact, to provide more choices and convenience to the masses. Anyone following crypto news over the past couple of years will have noticed a growing trend in articles telling us more and more how our new digital tokens can be used to purchase an increasing number of everyday things.

Recently it was announced that Mithril (MITH) will be among the payment options for purchasing Ed Sheeran concert tickets. This adds yet another item to the growing list of purchases available to holders of cryptocurrencies. More importantly than that, it is another sign of the growing reach, legitimacy and viability of decentralized cryptocurrencies to challenge and even replace fiat currencies. In short, it is a consumer revolution.

Announcement from Mithril’s official Medium Account

Today it may start with Ed Sheeran tickets, but after that what comes next? Already cryptocurrencies can be used for purchasing Windows and Xbox content (2014), Starbucks coffee (August 2018), home furnishings on Overstock (2014), gift cards at egifter.com, luxury goods like at The White Company, and even to make charitable donations. Not only is the list growing, but the revolution is gaining mainstream attention. Back in March 2018, CNBC published an article detailing the increasing number of ways to use Bitcoin. In the same year, The Guardian newspaper in the UK also published a detailed feature on cryptocurrency. This is no longer a “fringe” industry. It has thrust itself into the mainstream, increasingly proving sceptics wrong and placing itself firmly outside of the “passing fad” category.

As cryptocurrencies like MITH continue to gain momentum, and usage becomes more commonplace, another revelation is emerging — the miracle and marvel of blockchain-based technology. It is now becoming clear that as crypto use enters our everyday lives and becomes increasingly normalized, a greater number of people are seeing the benefits of decentralization. The security and lack of room for manipulation are particularly attractive, and even more that finally the power of currency could potentially be put into the hands of the masses rather than the elites.

The sector isn’t without its challenges, however, and we should all remember that one swallow does not a summer make. Using crypto to purchase concert tickets is another small victory in the long road to meaningful and widespread implementation of cryptocurrencies in the everyday lives of the general public.
