Aside list mentioned by @mocacinno looks good, how about Coinbase Commerce? They mention you can setup within few minutes and the documentation show guide for non-developer (https://commerce.coinbase.com/docs/#not-a-developer).

I can vouch for Coinbase Commerce. We use it at the company I work at to accept payments for our store frontend, and the fact that its mostly GUI oriented with its own developer dashboard, the API call for billing being the only code needed to be set up in the backend, means you don't even have to host the payment server yourself.

Some other questions:
Are you looking to just take BTC or other cryptos?
This will matter because some processors are more limited.

Do you want conversion to fiat or to keep the funds in crypto?
Different places have different rates for doing different things.

What country are you in / where will it be hosted?
Depends on who you CAN deal with.

Is it a registered business or just something you are doing on the side?
Some processors treat it differently / have different requirements for a business vs personal account.

How much do you think you will be doing and what size will the payments be?

Hello,

Which cryptocurrency payment processor is the best? Btcpay server is ok but its too technical. I am looking for a reliable and trusted 3rd party provider to use for my side project.
If you give us more details, the help will be more accurate. What is your programming experience and do you need Payment Processor that facilitates the interface or focuses on security?
In general, one of the best options is https://coingate.com/ There are some alternatives that enable the user to easily manage the process, but they require trust and high fees.

Not many people use altcoins, you need to accept a few, knowing that some of these alts are constantly decreasing in value.

Is this for the WooCommerce WordPress site?

You can try Blockonomics but there is a 1% fee for every transaction it easy to set up.

About for BTCpayserver if you can't run a full node on your own you can use some trusted 3rd party who has Bitcoin full node you can find the list from this link below.

Even their demo actually works fine.

Thanks I will look into Blockonomics. Much appreciated.

How about using Third-party hosting for BTCPAYSERVER? Although you have to trust the server owner, I feel it's better than using a custodial web wallet payment processor. I think using third-party hosting BTCPAYSERVER doesn't require much skill. Just make sure you aren't sharing your private keys with anyone including server owners and make sure private keys weren't pre-generated as well. Just try to choose a trusted server, get help from the community if necessary.

Here's a list: https://github.com/alexk111/awesome-bitcoin-payment-processors/#readme
ps: i'm not affiliated with this list, it's not mine, but it looks reasonable...

This list is from the guy who made the debitpay directory, and he seems to maintain it on a reasonably regular basis...
Good luck!

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Btcpay is by far the best option because you don't have to trust some third party, but lot of people are just using Coinbase Commerce and Bitpay.

There is also BitfinexPay payment processor that accepts Bitcoin and Lightning Network BTC payments with few more coins including USDT.

P2P crypto trading website Paxful recently released their own version of payment processor called PaxfulPay, but you should really do your own research before using any of this services.
