Ever wonder what the crypto devs are talking on their twitter/reddit posts? they might use some words or phrases which may sound Alien to a normal human but not to a crypto lover.

Here are a few crypto terminologies which you should know to communicate in the crypto world  Wink

1. FIAT
Government-issued currency, in the form of paper, such as the Euro, US dollar, Franc, Pakistani Rupee, Japanese Yen

2. Whale
Someone that owns absurd amounts of crypto-currency.[they can cause a blood bath in the market]

3. Blood bath
A major economic disaster in the crypto market. Simply when the market price goes down altogether.

4. Going long
A margin trade that profits if the price increases.

5. Going short
A margin trade that profits if the price decreases.

6. Bullish
An expectation that price is going to increase.

7. Bearish
An expectation that price is going to decrease.

8. ATH
All-Time-High. We’ve gotten a lot of these the past couple months.

9. HODL
Hold On for Dear Life. Holding onto a coin for a relatively long period

10. To the moon
hoping the coin's price would sky rocket
