Obviously the API for mcxNOW has been discontinued.

Old data still available when using begin parameter, see API https://api.cryptodb.com/api

Kraken, Bitfinex, several (or all? Though not all are cryptocoin <--> cryptocoin or cryptocoin <--> fiat - there are fiat <--> fiat markets too) Ripple internal markets, any market on bitcoincharts.com.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Smiley

Thanks for including buy/sell! Are there some limits or pricing plans for the future etc. one should be aware of, or is the key request just so you can cut off potentially abusive people?

I really hope you include more exchanges over time by the way.

Also, is it ok if I pull data from you and store and process it further on my own?

There will be a pricing plan in the future, probably based on a number of requests. This is not set in stone however, and the beta period is used to figure out exact pricing and stuff.
I will be adding more and more exchanges in the coming weeks. Any specific exchange you would like to see added?

You can do with the data whatever you want to do, since I have no means of controlling it anyway and the info is in fact freely availaible as well.

Do you also offer individual trade data, like bitcoincharts?

I do not quite get what you mean with individual trade data.
You can get tick data, meaning every separate transaction.

https://api.cryptodb.com/ticks?client_id=xxxxxx&source=mtgox&pair=btc_usd

If this is not what you mean it would be great if you could explain further.

Known issues:

2013-11-25 2:53pm GMT
Because of some yet unknown reason the BTC-E engine has stopped retrieving data. Therefore the api is
returning error messages. If you want to test with BTC-E use the begin parameter with a time stamp before
yesterday midnight (GMT)
e.g. https://api.cryptodb.com/ohlc?client_id=xxxxxx&source=btce&pair=xpm_btc&begin=1385161200

There was an issue with the DNS, so the url was not correctly redicted.

Should be fixed now.

Let me know if it is accessible.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you provide more info on what data your API supplies?

Hi,

Today I launched www.cryptodb.com

CryptoDB is an initiative to offer easy access to price data for crypto currencies. It enables developers of user applications to concentrate on great user experience front ends without thinking about how to acquire and store the vast amounts of data produced by the various exchanges each day.

Currently CryptoDB is in its beta phase. This means that despite thorough testing in a developers environment there may still be bugs hidden in the code. These bugs can only be found with your help. Therefore using CryptoDB while being in beta is absolutely free. All we ask is that whenever you encounter an issue using CryptoDB you drop us an email: [email protected] or at the bitcointalk forum.

It would also be great if you use this forum, either by posting or by sending a PM, to give user feedback. Tell us what you like, or even better what you dislike. You can also post user requests, if you are missing functionality which you think could be of value to other users too.

We thank you for using CryptoDB and hope to hear from you at the forums.
