Thanks for posting the other sites that are also operated by the former owner of the CryptoExchang scam site. They all seem relatively crudely made, and most people with common sense wouldn't risk sending their money to such a poorly made website, but it's always nice to spread the news.

This has already been mentioned, but I'd like to reiterate this: someone speaking for the exchange, such as on the CryptoExchang site, doesn't mean much for the credibility of the site. What does matter is reputation, and make sure you're going on a reputable site that is confirmed to not be a scam. Most reputable sites have threads on this forum, and doing a Google search usually yields results.

I always suggest people to not use any website without proper research and don't risk their money blindly. this website has no details on the website which obviously make it suspicious, even I say you should still negotiate and do your due diligence completely no matter how much positive comments and feedback that website or exchange have.. they way people getting scammed there is a serious need to be careful now.

crptoexchange.com is a phishing website linked to one Atiq ur Rehman in Pakistan. He has a dozen of other similar websites registered under different American names. Below are some of them:

Like me, lost my ETH  Sad

Be aware cryptoexchang.com is SCAM

This thread has been created last year then you have again invested without research about this site. Now to complain them you research on this forum and reporting on them about the scam alert here.
I suggest you to create new thread on the other section alert some other people who want to this exchange to convert the bitcoin or ethereum.
There are plenty enough exchanges available always to use that only.

Hello:

I was wondering if other people have used this service and gotten their money. ETH/USD

Looked like an easy service. They promise to deposit funds, USD, into my PayPal Account, instantly.

That was 4 days ago. They do not reply to emails.

I checked Google and cannot find any complaints against them. Same with Ripoffreport.com.

Thanks
Steve

I was Totally just scammed as well. Didn’t read the reviews at first. Now I lost Out. Sad is there anything I could Do to get my funds back?

Sorry, bitcoin transaction is irreversible. So there's no way for you to get it back.

I just check on the website, and here's what I found:

Domain Name: CRYPTOEXCHANG.COM
Registry Domain ID: 2089439687_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.namesilo.com
Registrar URL: http://www.namesilo.com
Updated Date: 2018-01-04T04:06:38Z
Creation Date: 2017-01-12T06:37:42Z

Although it was created 1 year ago it was updated more than 1 week. I'm not really sure what updates this did, but it looks like it, they either they did some UI updates and redesign it, or doing something from behind,(consolidating the bitcoin they got from scam). So I'm sure that this is a scam site. Sorry for you lost mate. Just a advise, just used Google and whois.net to investigate about a certain website, if you found that they are newly created, that's a redflag. And can't find reviews, well it smells scam as well.

I don't think that it will be easy for you to get the funds back...
Probably impossible.
But what we can do is to ask Moderator or OP to put "[SCAM]" into topic title
So the people who will google this service will discover that this is scam

Why you used that website?

https://vimeo.com/207835762 This video is just a paid podcast from some cheap fiverr gig for around 5$ and what this service is offering is crypto to paypal/bank transfer and not vice versa. This makes it easier to find out that this is another scam in the market.

You can say good bye to your cryptos OP, sorry for your loss.

it is difficult for us who are beginning to investigate in this world of cryptocurrencies to overcome the walls that scammers build, this information is not updated for new entrepreneurs.

I just visited this site (wanted to change some crypto to Payoneer) and it looked suspicious. I checked it in google and from first glance - nothing bad (nothing like "scam, scam")
But good that we have Bitcointalk forum - I read some messages here and that's enough for me to forget about this site.
To make Suit against them is a good idea, but I'm not sure you will find site owners

Cryptoexchang.com IS a SCAM!!! Do NOT use this exchange!!! They won't respond to you, even after SHOWING the funds are unspent on their site!!! It was a trial run for $160 worth of Bitcoins, to see if it would go through. NOTHING!!! If ANYONE would like to start a CLASS ACTION SUIT against them, contact me. I want to make an EXAMPLE out of this company!!! So, WHO'S WITH ME???

Many new people fall into these kind of scam when they are introduced to bitcoin about trading first. These kind of sites are the channel for those of people to make invest on these sites and make the money with the unknown investors.
All the open wallet trading site are already easy to hacked but this worst than this you find the hack on the open wallets.
