How much does it cost? How much money you have to invest?
Someone using this? Another good reivew?

https://www.cryptohopper.com

I've been visiting this website to have a quick look and read about a good and interesting concept. but also pay attention to the news issues that have recently appeared about trading using robots in several places getting into trouble and being banned from using them. I asked about the legality of this platform because usually at the beginning of trading it was still safe, as time went on there were many obstacles.

Hello all,

just to warn everyone against using this platform from my experience. Two major issues: bugs that lose money, and subscription renewal scam.

Bug on platform lost money, they don't care, support pretty much unresponsive, when they say something you notice they didn't even bother to get basic info. Core functionality failed, bot "forgot" the trade it made and couldn't access anymore the position to handle it.

Additionally, beside this big money losing bug, the platform is unstable, loads parts of the platform horrifically slow, data shown is wrong e.g. 3 graphs on 3 different parts of the platform that should show the same data all show it differently, and in the end neither of the 3 shows correct data. Even login doesn't work correctly, most of the times a login without an error will return you again to the login screen and you need to login twice. And many more problems. Statistics inside the platform are a pure joke and mostly random numbers, most probably the development is outsourced and with that things can only get worse and worse over time.

A platform that is really slow and has trading bugs is completely unsuitable for market trading, which requires precision and speed. Crypto market is risky by itself, but with this platform that doesn't do it job correctly and its support doesn't care, the danger is exponentiated.

And second issue, although it clearly says in settings under subscriptions "Autorenewal is off." they charged the card again and renewed the subscription without any warning or approval from user side.
Trustpilot is also full of reviews about this renewal scam going years back, so this kind of scamming is their business model and not just some misunderstanding.

Also read the reviews all around, many people had negative experiences with bugs, and always a faulty support service with it. Dig a little, you'll be surprised.

On Facebook they have paid fake reviews that are for something completely different and neither of them is about Cryptohopper, but with that they faked the rating to 4.9. If they need to do that, you know something is really fishy.

To be honest I have never used cryptohopper for trading, but I use another trading bot. And in the end I choose to trade manually,
because my experience is always bad when using trading bots. Usually early can produce a pretty good profit, and if you use it for
a long time you experience a loss. Even my capital was used up when using trading bots, so I'm not sure that cryptohopper trading bots
can provide long-term profits.

Hello there!

Trading really depends on the market movement so result is not really the same everyday.

Cryptohopper actually has a 7 days trial so you can try the platform. If you have further questions please send us a message at [email protected].

Tool seems okay but I have seen my fair share of disappointments with trading tools and bots to trust them wholeheartedly. I will advice anyone to thread carefully and apply some high level of caution. These tools can fail you easily leaving you with so much regrets.

Anyone here using Cryptophopper? I figured I'd start a thread.

I'm really liking it better than gunbot or any other trading bot. Pretty straight forward, almost a set it and forget it kind of thing. And, it can trade off telegram signals. So far I've had it for 5 days and I'm making about 2-10% daily with my current settings. Got it set up on Poloniex and Bittrex. They just added Binance support.

https://www.cryptohopper.com/?atid=324

If anyone wants my settings, DM me and I'll happily send them over if you use my referral link.

Is trading with bot can really profiting ? What if all of us are using bot to trading in the market ?
I guess no one will get the profit. Some pump and dump group often to outcome the trading boy by creating some pump and dump signals.

Hello!

I am new to to the Cryptohopper Trading Bot, I have used it a few days and see that the profits are coming in.
However, now I have some problems I don't know how to handle. My hope is to get some here at this forum.

I am using Binance as Exchange.
I started with an investment of $400, but after 1-2 days I started to get messages like saying that I don't have enough funds.
So I added another $200 into Binance but now I have the same issue.

It turns out that I have assets in the coins I have traded, but have a very small amount in my Base Currency, BTC.

Anyone can help me and tell me how I can reinvest the amounts I have into BTC?

Best Regards
Teddy

Okay, I'm just going to post them here. If you're gonna use my settings, please use my link to sign up: https://www.cryptohopper.com/?atid=324

Here are my poloniex settings that have worked. I see on reason why they wouldn't work on the other exchanges just as well.

For Trial, You can only trade 15 coins:
BURST
DASH
DGB
DOGE
LTC
STR
XMR
XRP
ETH
SC
LSK
STEEM
REP
CVC
OMG

Strategy: Multiple TA Factors
Percentage Profit: 2.2
Use Ticker Rate: Highest Bid/Lowest Ask
Percentage Lower Bid: 1
Percentage Higher Ask: 1
Stop Loss: Off
Trailing Stop Loss: On
Trailing Stop Loss Percentage: .5
Arm Trailing Stop Loss at: 2
Use Trailing Stop Loss Only: Off
Hold Assets when new target is the same: Off
Only buy when there are positive pairs: Off
Auto close positions within time: Off
Max Open time sell: 30
Max Open time buy: 30
Max open positions: 200
Max open positions per coin: 200
Percentage buy amount: 10 (Recommend you start at 1%)
Min BTC amount per order: .01 (I recommend you start at .005)
Max BTC amount allocated: (blank)

External Signals I'm subscribed to:
CoindicatorBot Short term Signals (Best one, I paid 5 bucks/mo for it)
Mininghamster (Also worth the money)
Crypto Lion Signals
Crypto Wolf Signals
(The other ones didn't work for me with these settings)

Those settings have been getting me about 2.5%-4% daily, total about 11% up in about 4-5 days. BIGGEST PITFALL: Be careful which signal channel you use. A lot of them are crap. Especially Coin pulse (alpha) on the Bittrex bot. That one almost always bought at the top.

Pretty good for a start. I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing does when it's all fine tuned in an up market.

I'm experimenting with a strategy only configuration for Binance, since they're new they don't have any signals yet. I'll update here if I see anything else.

If you also have any other settings that work for you, please post them here. This thing is the most promising thing I've found to not stare at charts all day...

Many thanks for your post, is very inspirative indeed.

I have just sorted YOUR DATA for a easier implementation on CryptoHopper.

Hi. I came across this post about cryptohopper after about 3 weeks of losing a bunch of money and was wondering if you would be willing to share your TA strategy. I've tried 5 paid signals so far and I just end up with bags and losses. I am unable to use your referral now since I have already signed up but I would gladly tip you for the help. Thank you.

Hi.

There is a lot of chance to end up with some "bags". Is for that that is very convenient to select the coins you do not mind to hold just in case.

The web interface is a bit confusing at first.

Using the arbitrage feature only made trades which couldn't be closed. After several loosing trades, I disabled arbitrage.

Picking a profitable signal provider works reliable but I am still in the minus due to arbitrage before. If the alts recover and gets sold (patience) I might still get out profitable or hope the signal provider will make up for it in the long run.

After testing several bots (aitrader.ai, destinationmoon bot, cryptotrader, and this one) this is the only bot where I will continue my subscription.

Hi guys, took a look on cryptohopper and I´m a bit concerned to use it because it asked me to insert my api secret key. binance support told me that its a potential risk to do this. What ar your thoughts on it?

Fairly it must be said that obviously all or the most bots need the api secret key, not only cryptohopper.

Cheers!

Scratch that.

But still strange.

bittrex on average loss all others on average profit. Same signal provider. Looks like pure gamble?

tl;dr:  It's very good.  Free the first month.  Newbies to advanced traders can use it.

I'm using this bot and so far really liking it.  Its got a pretty easy and intuitive interface and set up- there's a couple of areas  that I find confusing- there's configs on top of configs and some trump others- and I still don't get the Max open pos. Max %...from the config set up:  (value, which is a percentage of the 'max open positions' field - for example 100 positions and 4% here will give 4 open positions/buy orders maximum, 50 and 10% will give 5, 60 and 20% will give 12 - for each unique coin.)  Anyone?

But, that aside it's a pretty simple set up, with a lot of room for tweaking settings  -or- if you prefer more of a hands off approach you can set it to only act on signals which you can subscribe to for free or in a paid subscription from various providors ($5-$7 generally).  I had the Haas bot for a while but I could barely get that one going and found the set up difficult and used it for about 1 out of my 3 months licensed with no results to speak of- this is not to disparage their bot- I just didn't get how to use it.  This one falls more in line with my style- I'm not a programmer and I'm a middle of the road day trader.   This bot gives me an easy intuitive interface to have as much input into the operation as I want but can run pretty well without me having to set it up for every nuance.

I'm using paid  signals from cryptognome (just started the paid subscription), bcs they've been pretty good in the free trial. There are 2-3 others that I like and may add as well.  I'm trying to run the bot hands off for a week or so to see how it does and will report back as that progresses. You get a free month trial on the basic bot then you can pay $20/mth basic, $49/mth mid, $99/mth for their master kangaroo- the main difference as you jump up levels is in the number of coin you can have in your active trading pool- basic is fewer coin, longer between trades, fewer open positions, mid gives you more of everything, master has arbitrage as an option and all coins active for signals.
They have a decent tiered pricing system with customization avail as well-  I like their approach in letting people try it out- a month is very generous-and I get a kind of old school crypto vibe from them in the way they're putting this out there, word of mouth mostly, inclusive pricing, contributes to the community- very open- if ya know what I mean.   I have no problem sharing the word on projects like this and will be updating as I go.

Cryptohopper just didn’t do it ... if you don’t have a good config, don’t start with it, you will lose btc. If you are familiar with Gunbot or profittrailer, don’t start with it ... you will be disappointed.

Did you try external signals?

Just copied the entire setup on a new cryptohopper account (and used the aff link). I use the exact same settings and external signal services as the OP, but I only use it on Polo.

Got another bot running on Polo, which is making > 1% per day on average ... so I can compare.

CH bot is running for about 12 hours now. Made 3 trades of which 1 already closed with a small profit. The trades in generale are not yet profitable, but I’m giving it a few more weeks to see if it can outperform my other bot  Wink

HEy there... figured I'd check in. It's obviously been a down market, but I'm seeing an average of 1.75% gains daily so far. I honestly stepped away for about two weeks and haven't looked at it, so yes, I've been making gains. I'm using the settings I put up there, except I have the full cryptohopper kangaroo subscription.

I started with .3 BTC and then added another, for a inital investment of 1.3 BTC to trade with. I'm now up to 3.45 BTC after 60 days. some days I make 10%, some days I'm down a few percent, overall I'm up 265% after 60 days.

needless to say, it works great for me. slow and steady. I'm just going to let it ride and keep letting it invest with larger amounts until the buys start becioming outrageous. I'm trading on all three, bittrex, binance and poloniex to keep my bid amounts as low as possible.

Unfortuantely, I'm not going to post proof of my results any more because of personal privacy and security reasons.

Here's the link again: https://www.cryptohopper.com/?atid=324

If you sign up with my link, you can message me on facebook at facebook.com/mrjohnsir and I'll be happy to take a look at your settings in return for the referral. It might take me sometime to get back to ya, but that's the offer Smiley I'm willing to help to the best of my ability. This one works, and I want everyone to get rich Smiley

You help me get rich in exchange for a referral bonus.  Sorry, doesn't add up.

What is source of the value you receive in exchange for helping everyone get rich?  There has to be an exchange of value here, and a referral fee is insignificant.

We're all here to help out, man. I'm sure you've shared plenty of ideas for free. I've gotten tons of value from forums, and I've given tons of value. It doesn't always have to be about money. I think a referral click is worth my settings Smiley It's not really that hard to make money with this bot. Even the original starting settings make money, just slowly.

For example:
for 16 hours LTC has been staying inside a very predictible bollinger band, moving up, averaging at the ctr line, breaking the bottom going up, breaking the top going down. If I had been watching this manually, I could have made $5-7 very, very safely about 12 times in $100 btc.
That would be an easy call. I would use CH to assume it could time the buy and sell better than me, and not miss by taking eye off of it.
When I hear 40-60% loss bc coins are in down-turn, makes me wonder if anyone really is genuinely getting any profitable trades from bots they couldn't do better themselves.
I want to believe the opposite

I simply can't find the logic in revealing a system that has the ability to generate significant profits, unless it doesn't.

Is it more profitable to keep these signals for yourself and profit, sell them to the masses, or keep them for a short period to profit and then sell them to the masses?  The business model for selling signals can't generate profits greater than what signals alone can generate, unless your signals are exaggerated.

It was suggested they are tied to pump and dump groups, but I suspect the odds are the pedestrian will never see fantastic gains since you're merely a lever they pull to generate profit for themselves.

Now I could be wrong about all of this, but I do see quite a few people complain about not only the signals, but automated platforms that do the trading.  Some are so shoddy they appear to be HYIPs.

right, but declines punctuated by sideways periods and a few bull traps. Sounds like your settings work regardless.

This is interesting, but you say you are using the exact same strategy in this steadily declining market as a few months earlier?

It's been a few months of a down market, if you haven't noticed... I'm guessing things will turn around in april sometime, so I'll probably take a look at my settings then. but for now, I'm happy.

Going to echo the OP's warning to watch out for Coin Pulse(alpha) as a signaller. Quick way to lose a LOT of coin. But otherwise, i'm finding this tool very useful as a help to stay hands-off with some of my trading.

In this market, I'm super conservative with my stop-loss, at around 2%. This might be a stupid idea - I'm not sure - but is what it is. It's triggering a fair number of trades.

Hey maybe you guys here can help me:
I have also been testing cryptohopper on binance.
For testing I made a new binance account and transferred a small ammount of btc to it to avoid any interferrence and make it easier to see how much profit the bot is actually making.
I am very pleased with the theoretical performance of the bot since it has been making at least over 2% on each day.
But - and here comes the big drawback - this theoretical gain is more than eaten up by the fact that the bot often makes purchase amounts in a different amount than it seems to think (for example the bot says it purchases 10 of coinX but in truth only purchases 1 coin, or the other way arround it purchases 10 of coinX but after that doesn't add that coin to its open positions and therefore never sells it again).
I have disabled all signals since at first I thought it was due to the bot somehow misintertpreting those.
I have made an image where you can also see the problem happening this morning with the bot bying less on binance than it seems to "think", you can find it under https://www.imagebanana.com/s/980/DDgLaSOs.html

I already made a thread about it on their forum and wrote the support but didn't receive an answer.
Do you guys have any idea what could cause this or made simmilar observations ?

How do you get the Crypto Hopper first month free trial? I setup an account and was about to transfer some USDT over but I noticed the account was not activated, I see a "Pay Now" option and the page has a spot for Discount Code, anyone know the code or what procedure is required to do the free trial? Thanks

Pity that I'm already using it - else I'd have been more than happy to click your link - better it goes to someone who's willing to share than not go to anyone.

Awesome on the settings - I've got essentially the same except I've been using the trailing stop to over-ride the profits. But I'm going to try your way and see what happens.

I was using pulse(alpha), but after you'd said I had a check. Some of the indicators seem good - however I have definitely seen a few that don't seem to add up. That may be the case with all of the others. Have paid for the MiningHamster. I've seen there is another one called CryptoGrower. Wondering if it's a good idea to give them both a try for a month and see who's better (or if they're both good). Is there a way to check whether they've had good successes easily?

I'm going to be doing some experimenting over the coming weeks and happy to share the results. Just wondering people's thoughts on whether the RSI etc should all be in agreement before a buy? Thought it worth an ask.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply. The minimums are lower for market trades- ones that dont require limit or stop limit.
That's what has me confused.
Other details thank you that does help clarify.

But, you bring up an important point- the planned execution settings should be able to recognize the down market and adjust to short term buys that profit- that's what I would do manually. If it only works when the market's in an up-turn, then it isn't much of a process, you know?
That really concerns me, because it isn't like there's anyone to turn to when things go south. Either it can bring 1/2%, 1%, 2% and self-adjust or it can't- u know?

You're limited by the minimum trade amount of the exchange. Whatever Binance's minimum is, that's your minimum. Any less, and the trade won't execute.

Config pools are used to override your default settings for individual coins. For instance, if you know a coin is going to moon, or might crash, you can use config pools to have specific settings for that one coin. If you don't use config pools, then every coin will trade based on your default settings.

I personally don't have config pools on my coins. i will be using them when i learn that a coin is about to take off, so I can keep it from taking 4-6% profit on the coin and miss out on the big runs. That requires regular adjustment and allows me to use my charting skills to make a bigger profit, however at this point I'm pretty hands off with this bot.

In this down market, i've been setting a 15-20% stop loss on my coins. I've found some calls ended up losing 40-60% and i found myself stuck with a bunch of coins that i'm now waiting for to recover.

Okay, I'm just going to post them here. If you're gonna use my settings, please use my link to sign up: https://www.cryptohopper.com/?atid=324

Here are my poloniex settings that have worked. I see on reason why they wouldn't work on the other exchanges just as well.

For Trial, You can only trade 15 coins:
BURST
DASH
DGB
DOGE
LTC
STR
XMR
XRP
ETH
SC
LSK
STEEM
REP
CVC
OMG

Strategy: Multiple TA Factors
Percentage Profit: 2.2
Use Ticker Rate: Highest Bid/Lowest Ask
Percentage Lower Bid: 1
Percentage Higher Ask: 1
Stop Loss: Off
Trailing Stop Loss: On
Trailing Stop Loss Percentage: .5
Arm Trailing Stop Loss at: 2
Use Trailing Stop Loss Only: Off
Hold Assets when new target is the same: Off
Only buy when there are positive pairs: Off
Auto close positions within time: Off
Max Open time sell: 30
Max Open time buy: 30
Max open positions: 200
Max open positions per coin: 200
Percentage buy amount: 10 (Recommend you start at 1%)
Min BTC amount per order: .01 (I recommend you start at .005)
Max BTC amount allocated: (blank)

External Signals I'm subscribed to:
CoindicatorBot Short term Signals (Best one, I paid 5 bucks/mo for it)
Mininghamster (Also worth the money)
Crypto Lion Signals
Crypto Wolf Signals
(The other ones didn't work for me with these settings)

Those settings have been getting me about 2.5%-4% daily, total about 11% up in about 4-5 days. BIGGEST PITFALL: Be careful which signal channel you use. A lot of them are crap. Especially Coin pulse (alpha) on the Bittrex bot. That one almost always bought at the top.

Pretty good for a start. I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing does when it's all fine tuned in an up market.

I'm experimenting with a strategy only configuration for Binance, since they're new they don't have any signals yet. I'll update here if I see anything else.

If you also have any other settings that work for you, please post them here. This thing is the most promising thing I've found to not stare at charts all day...

They just added binance support a few days ago. There aren't any signal channels available for binance, so I'm thinking a good strategy will do just fine. I've been testing with minimum trades, at .0005 btc each, and i think i'm ready to turn it up to trade .01 btc each trade. If it continues the way it is, i'm looking at 2-4% on my entire investment daily.

I've been testing it for about four days now, and it seems to be reliably making trades at about 3-4%... Most trades take a few hours to go through, and some trades take a few days. I've set it to sell at 2.5% profit per trade, and as you can see it often sells far above 2.5%.

If you turn off stop losses, it'll wait as long as needed to make a profit, even if it's weeks or months.

https://scontent-dft4-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/27173831_343630959451753_5152286013021774125_o.png?oh=2b6d3323b1842bb79f59c6f48a3e1a6b&oe=5AEF9832

Some of the signal channels are really good, some are not. I've whittled it don to a few channels that have been giving me good results, however sometimes it'll go a day or two without firing off a trade because the signal groups aren't sending out enough signals to make enough trades.

If anyone wants my settings, DM me and I'll happily send them over if you use my referral link.
