SFR10: Thank you for your suggestion. From my experience, a small fee for adding a website usually deters most spammers/scammers. However if it becomes a problem, I will switch to manual activation.
hugeblack, bL4nkcode: The website just started few days ago, so it doesn't have many visitors yet. It is however indexed by major search engines (e.g. Google) and visited by their bots several times per day. I have some ideas for bringing more visitors that I will try to implement gradually (one of them - a faucet - started yesterday), so hopefully there will be more and more people coming.

Generally, what is the number of visits and interactions on your site? Is it worth paying for it?
The site has no data on similarweb and lack of info on alexa that means thd ite doesn't have enough traffic in able this analytics website capture those.Also, website directories are not good for SEO and it's not a good way to build links, better to have a nofollow on the advertised/listed anchor links.

So why you call it "directory"? the directory is the reference that contains all/mos the information about websites.
it is better to re-rank the site that have zero points instead of removing them.
"Pay to get a higher rating" model is bad in ranking websites and expressing their reliability. You need a better model for displaying search engines.
