I have opened an account on Cryptopay. Created a virtual credit card, played a little with small amounts to see how smooth the service is. Then i used it for a large amount of about 800 EUROS. I got a refund from a hotel booking site of 800 euros after a double payment was made by them by mistake. The website asked me to provide ANY credit card, to which i would like the refund to be sent.

I gave them the virtual credit card of Cryptopay. Then a long, frustrating process began. Account was blocked, endless exchanges with support for about 10 days. Each response taking some times 2 days. They required me to go through KYC which was understandable. But then the suffering begad. No matter what document i sent, according to their request, it was not good enough. Every other reply from cryptopay asked for more documents, new requirements, just an unsatisfiable thirst for documents.

At the end of the process, i got a laconic reply saying basically that they decided to keep the money. They will not send back the 800 euros to the sender, and they will not release it on my account. Free money in the pocket. Or better say, plain robbery on day light.

Please advice me what i can do to defend my self from this outrageous robbery. They are not even replying to emails anymore.

I feel robbed and god darn helpless and it is not a nice feeling.

Please help! 100 euros will be sent in bitcoin to the one who helps me get back my money.

PS since they are UK based I will probably file a claim in one of the following
