Hello all

3 hours I made a cryptopia btc withdrawal, still in processing, not txId yet..

How can I do ?
Is it normal ?

3 hours on Cryptopia is NOTHING. I have seen people waiting for days and weeks to have their withdrawals processed. No matter how late Cryptopia was in those instances to process the transfers. They eventually did go through. Tells me that they're incredibly short staffed.

My issue was resolved after 7 days.  They never contacted me or verified anything but the funds did show up in my Binance exchange after an extended period of time.  Silver lining was that Ether was pumped up when I got it so I gained some nice profit by the "forced" savings.

OP is active and do posting after the creation of this thread, so how is it now OP ? I will assume that it's already reflected now on your receiving address since with days passed you didn't gave an update here although you are active on posting even up to today.

Honestly I considered 3 hours as short period compare to other scenarios where days or even more than that is the duration. Last time I did some BTC withdrawal on Cryptopia, it takes 4 or 5 hours so less than that time is not alarming to me.

But in terms of withdrawing altcoins, it really takes time to the point that it will take few days before it will reflect on my wallet.

Not supposed to be normal, but certainly seems to be the norm with how cryptopia is treating their withdrawals right now.

No idea if they are actually insolvent or pulling an exit scam, but apparently they are selectively processing withdrawals only. The vast majority of big withdrawals have been stuck on their site as a pending status, and not credited.

Lots of people coming out with their experiences recently that make them really look very bad as an exchange. I certainly would try to get my coins out of the exchange in small chunks if that's possible, instead of doing it all in one time.

I have had Ether stuck in processing on Cryptopia since Feb 12th.  It's definitely not an isolated incident.  They are having withdrawal and deposit problems with multiple coins for a bunch of customners.  Ever since their Dogecoin and Litecoin trading pairs went down, it's been a steady decline for them.  I have lost all trust and confidence in their exchange.  It's a shame.

Ah, thanks for the update, I had a small withdrawal just waiting for processing, wasn't too worried about it at all so didn't bother checking back but "good" to see that issue isn't just for me. Lay off the support, it'll just delay everything else for everyone else. Keep calm and go to sleep, this should work out over the next days. Guess everyone's trying to take advantage of the recovering market and trading elsewhere?

What's hurting though is that everyone seems to be having issues with cryptopia with several people on the forums calling them out as a fraud. And it's not an isolated incident either, a lot of others are having the same issues.

Though it's true that you're probably not going to get anywhere doing anything else other than waiting.

Don't think that this has got to do with the bitcoin price at all. Just cryptopia either being insolvent, or having technical difficulties. Either way it's not looking good for this particular exchange.

They're actually experiencing deposit/withdrawal delays. You should read the full announcement at the link provided:

Upon checking, They are already aware of this problem

Happy Friday everyone! We are aware of the delays affecting our withdrawals and deposits recently. Please see our latest news post for an update on these delays: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

There's really nothing else you can do as you will either get ignored or get the usual "we are already working on this problem" email by contacting their support.

Nothing you can do if you've already confirmed the withdrawal except to wait. That's actually quite normal, believe it or not. The smaller the exchange, the longer they generally take to process withdrawals (it's all manual despite what they say), especially with significant sums. The larger exchanges tend to do it quite quickly for fully verified users.

You probably should worry only if a full day's passed by. Cryptopia isn't exactly known for quick withdrawals.
