I looked into these a while ago but decided these were not worth the risk at all. Better to own some other exchange coins instead.

Hearing the hacking on the exchange of Cryptopia was alarming investors and other exchanges, this news was very bad, the Cryptopia development team would definitely work hard on this case. Hoping to recover soon.

The latest hacked case of cryptopia can be considered as the main thing to make that shitty exchange site will declare its bankrupt. Cryptopia's volume has been drained by the hackers. it will be so difficult to recover.
Other exchanges who have been hacked didn't drought after their hacking incidents. But this is going to be hard for cryptopia, a lot of traders will come out of them and going to stop using them. I don't think it will be so difficult for them to recover, there will be traders who will still be confident of using them but many will loss their trust.

How does this work?  You just hold CEFS and however much you hold on the exchange you get a certain percentage of fees paid based on how much of the CEFS you hold???

yup, just hold on exchange and get dividends the first of the month
see calculator here: https://www.cryptopiashares.com/

I just got one and feel this is one of the most underlooked and undervalued exchange coin out there.

would love to see this go back to its 10k value +

I love low supply coins and feel this one is a keeper with only 6300 supply!

How is this working out these days?  What's the current return and how do the payouts work?  I'm assuming you accumulate dust for hundreds of coins in your Cryptopia account on a monthly basis?

Well today everyone who invested in CEFS is in a bad spot... with the "hack" and all. With that being said... Cryptopia volume has been down the drain for quite some time now, and CEFS has lot a lot of value even versus BTC since I made this post some months ago. I didn't invest and would have been a bad choice, hope nobody saw this and got burnt.

I've seen very little information about CEFS, and wanted to know if anyone had researched it. For those who are unaware, 4.5% of Cryptopia's fees are shared as monthly dividends with 6,300 CEFS. That means 1 share equals .0007% of all fees. With Cryptopia's current volume and CEFS prices, the ROI is about 15%. This (I believe) is better than KuCoin Shares.

I imagine prices will dump pretty hard after today, as this is the day dividends are paid to holders. It may drop as low as .15 BTC per share in the next couple of days. Wanted to know if any holders are lurking around and can provide their opinions?
