The reason you are getting unauthorised login attempts on your account is because your registered email address has likely been included in a list of leaks from other sites that have been previously compromised, and someone attempted to access your Cryptopia account based on information in these lists. You can check for yourself to see if you address exists in known leaks using a site such as https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Most likely the hacker just brought out your Ether.
This is a major exchange, there are delays, but the volumes are huge to hunt for your coins.

This is happening to me right now on a daily basis with Cryptopia. Someone is constantly trying to hack my account and it keeps getting locked, so I no longer use it anymore. I have another email I use now for Cryptopia that no one knows about as I use it just for one or two things. Unfortunately my old email keeps getting login attempts for all sorts of things. I really need to get a new email and use it for just a few exchanges I think. I am sorry for your loss, losing one ETH is not small change. I hope one day you get it back.

I'm getting no reply from their support team. Hunderds of other people are having the same problem. Now we should work together and find their location and identities.

Put them in the same prisoncell with the bitconnect frauds and let their manholes get analyzed by gangmembers.

Try to contact them on their facebook page, They usually answer there within 2 days after you send a message. But due to an extremely high volume of queries, the support response time will be expected up to 39 days base on what they told me via PM. I have an issue with them too last month and exactly 39 days before they answer on my support ticket but I'm sure they will answer and fixed your problem. I've been there to your situation and I understand your frustration.

If you lost your 1 Ether in Cryptopia, i think it is not the cryptoia exchange who stole or scammed your funds. Maybe you signed in a fake or pishing site of cryptopia recently that's why your funds are lost. The hacker got your 1 ethereum , so before sign in an exchange you gonna check first the url or the trading history before signing in so that you will not be scammed again and lost all your funds.

I get a notification from an email that someone is trying to login my criptopia account. it's sort of a hacker, and they try to get in and steal my token there.
This is a sign of an immediate departure from this kind of exchange.

I got the same email as well. The first one was long time ago and yesterday I got the same email again. To be honest I do not really care about it because I do not use cryptopia anymore and I have no funds there. So I'll let the hacker to try to open my cryptopia account and he will find nothing on it LOL.
I think it is what happened with OP, his ethereum was stolen by hacker not by cryptopia itself. In this case, cryptopia cant do nothing as it is not their own fault. We should always keep our account safe from any hacking/phishing attempts.

This are the reason why governments and regulations authority need to put eyes on the blickchain technology not to ban it but to help bring some orders into it.  Most of this exchanges support team hardly reply and help traders during situations like this. I think we should actually report most of this exchanges to the appropriate authorities in other for they activities to be stop.

Please share that email it will help us and please check those who kept coins in this website. better you can withdraw your coins or move your coins to other trusted sites. 1 ETH is not a small amount you can put this news in all crypto related sites and spread this news with some proof.

For several months I traded on the cryptopy to introduce and withdraw sums of more than one ETH. There were no problems. It was last year. Are you sure that the problem is not with you? Did you confirm the withdrawal from the email?

Maybe this is a new flaw, and the support team is about to solve it, which is why they are not able to answer your support request. Do not worry you can search for answers on Twitter or Reddit notifications. Many users choose Reddit as the best and fastest way to get support on the problem, I think you should try this way.

I have been reading about also people having multiple login attempt failures from hackers. Maybe their database got leaked or something. Need to move my coins out of Cryptopia now. Also 1 Ether is a huge amount and I really feel bad for you.

OP but how did they do this to you? Could you please tell us so we can try avoiding for ourselves. It sucks big time that this happened to you Undecided, but unfortunately we have no recourse unless we live in New Zealand which most of us do not.
Yes! Can you please tell us how it all happen ? As far as I know cryptopia is one of the big exchanger and a lot of volumes trading there and also their platform is good.
