OP, please do more research because the answer to your own question is wrong.

It's difficult to explain the details simply, but bitcoin block size isn't capped at 1MB anymore. but 4 kWu (4 million weight unit) which allow maximum block size between 1-4 MB, even though usually it's between 2-2.5 MB.
So roughly blockchain size growth can reach up to 210240 MB / 205 GB every year

I am not happy with your service.
1. I did not like twitter hashtag in the title.
2. From post above it become evident you yourself lacking on knowledge.
3. Help somebody who is actually asking a question. Do not start putting random questions and answers for sake of posting.

Hey there!

Thanks for your reply. Exactly, today we cover the size of the Bitcoin Blockchain like mentioned. Actually the size is more than 198 GB as of yesterday. Regarding the wording - that's straight what people ask, no adjusting.

Hope you will be happy with the upcoming posts!

Which blockchain exactly?? I assume you are talking about bitcoin blockchain.
If so, you should update your information (the post from where you got this was posted in 2014). The last time I checked it, bitcoin blockchain size was more than 150 Gb.
Besides, blockchain is not measured by its length (otherwise, we should use meter/foot instead of byte)

If you intend to post more topics like that, at least make more effort when collecting informations.

Copy pasting is against forum rules, you have to post a link to the original post.

Hi everybody!

For everybody looking to get themselves more into Crypto and Blockchain we decided to bring you each day one of the top questions related to Crypto and Blockchain from the biggest search engine  Wink.

Also feel free to post your open questions so we can answer them!

We start today with the question of "How long is the Bitcoin Blockchain?"

Although the blockchain is now over 198 GB in size and growing at an increasing rate, because the block size is capped at 1 MB (and with 1 block approximately every ten minutes), this means that the blockchain can grow by at most 525,600 / 10 = 52,560 MB or ~ 52.5 GB per year (discounting leap year).
