KEEP BUILDING
It is nice you are working on your casino website as stated and I hope I am not mistaken. I have taken my precious time to navigate all through your casino but I find it difficult to make use of the two registration options provided on your casino website. Registration through discord and google account.
Do you not think it is risky to do such by registering through those options? I do not find it funny though because the registration process should be on a neutral ground by just providing your email as simple as that instead of using Google account. What if in the case of a hack on the casino data base, does it mean that the account holders would suffer the same fate on their google and discord account? it is not encouraging though and I would advise that the team looks into this and make available other registration process so that others with similar fate would be at ease while registering on your casino.
Thank you for your attention. I am happy to answer your questions about the design of Cryptoreaper's account system.
Currently, we use OAuth2.0-based authentication to register/login. This system has very little risk because we only store the user's email address and not the user's password. On the contrary, in the conventional username (email)/password account system, if the user habitually uses his commonly used password, when the casino database is leaked, the user will be at risk of having his account stolen.
We hope to have as little contact with the user's private data as possible. This is not only a protection for the users, but also indirectly reduces our risks and operation and maintenance costs.
Next, we will integrate more login methods based on OAuth authentication.
