It seems like a scam to me. I dont have proof though. I wont invest anything just because I dont want to risk it.

You should never invest what you can't afford to lose in anything.Cryptory is like any other gambling, right now people are winning.   Wink

Cryptory is advertised as a hyip. If they were providing a legit service then they would want to show people they're a legit company. Instead they promote their website buying advertising space in hyip promoting websites. If that doesn't tell you anything, well good luck with you "investment".
Yeah, in fact it's a hyip program.

Hello,

I would just like to know what you think about cryptory? If you have used it? What did you think about it. Are the returns they give us on the front page true? And if you don't recommend cryptory, let me know why. And what other cloud mining service would you recommend.

Thank you.

I can tell you my experience.I invested quite some in Cryptory and I am making profits daily and even I am withdrawing daily too.

I recommend Cryptory to you if you want to gamble with your money.

Anybody who has ever worked as a server engineer will recognise that this is a typical repair workshop and has nothing to do with mining. It looks like they've hijacked somebody elses video and are using it to promote a scam.
If it was located in Dublin, it would be spoken in english, with a nice Irish Accent and wouldn't have to be overdubbed.

The equipment shown in the promotion video is nearly all HP-DL servers and Tape libraries, in various states of repair. No evidence of mining equipment, and mining on DL-360's is pointless. None of the other info checks out. They may have even hijacked the name of a defunct, or never launched company.
As if this isn't bad enough, you'll find this on all the Hyip sites.
Cryptory.com is without doubt a HYIP scam site.

Invest at your peril.

On the other hand, you can buy an AntMiner S2 for $2599 / 5.798 BTC with 1 TH/s.
https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140429083756017VwGm90Xx06B5)

So it would be 0.005798 per GH/s. It draws less than 1100W and you will need to do the set-up and maintenance yourself.
The good thing is that you don't need to trust a site and worry the site could disappear suddenly one day.

Cloudmining hashrate price (BTC per GH/s):
cryptory: ~0.0186 (quoted from Domino's post above)
cex.io: 0.0064, at this very moment
pbmining: 0.0056, for 5 years contract

Good thing about cex.io is that you can trade your hashrate anytime you want, but the maintenance fee is bad ($0.26 monthly per GH/s, from cex.io/maintenance)
Good thing about pbmining is that it is the cheapest, but you can't sell the hashrate like in cex.io.

I see no point in buying hashrate on cryptory...

TL;DR: If you want to buy cloudmining hashrate, buy some on cex.io or pbmining instead.

I would suggest investing in a small rig.  Once you get past the payoff period, it's all gravy.  It's like the comparison between buying and renting a house.

Hello,

I would just like to know what you think about cryptory? If you have used it? What did you think about it. Are the returns they give us on the front page true? And if you don't recommend cryptory, let me know why. And what other cloud mining service would you recommend.

Thank you.

I don't know if it is legit, but the result of the return calculator looks strange (looks like it never considers difficulty adjustment).
Also, the hashrate there is expensive (~0.0186 btc per GH/s).

Where do you suggest I get cloud mining from? Or do you think I simply shouldn't, and I should get my own rig?
