My own impression about the whole cryptoscam site thing is that. Reporting a scam group or project is not the problem but what would your team will do about every scam reported I mean(maybe you guys will report it to the authorities or make it know to almost every crypto forum for awareness)?

- Let the users be able to submit services without making an account.
- You should not be forced to add a description, screenshots, etc. when making a scam report, some people would just want to ask if a certain service is legit or not, a title would be sufficient for that.
- Allow (everyone) to comment on these scam reports. Just implement "Disqus".
- A better search system (filtering). Also, ICOs are almost always a scam, there is no need to list them. Stick to exchanges, mixers, hardware sellers, etc.

Also, for a website that is supposed to list scams, you want users to find your website through search engines when they are checking if a service is legit or not. So by copy/pasting scam accusations from the forums, you're not really doing yourself a favor (not good for SEO).
Thank you very much for your opinion! Making an account takes 2 min only and letting people to submit without an account will produce many spam.Screenshots are not necessary but you need to describe the scam Smiley We are working on letting comments.

If you have some programming skills you can solve that by putting up a filter so users can click *show anonymous posts as well* .
Or you can just ban links in the comments and you'll deal with most of the spam.

Any thoughts(advices) how to meke this website better?
Really appreciate your opinion
Thank you in advance!
1) Since the site was said to be anonymous, i dont think there's a need to registering an account.
2) What is the purpose of reporting a scam on the site because we already a section for that on this forum.

Nice project, how do you find scammers though? Do you research on them yourself or do you just list scammers that have been found already? Just a tip, every day, there are a lot of members reporting scams in the Scam Accusations board, you may want to check it.

I also wanted to see the recent one, I found one website before who says that they have a list of scam/scammers but when I check them it's never been updated. So you guys need to constantly updated your list, otherwise you might not get the needed exposure.

If you open the website up, you'll see that most of the websites are described with accusations from bitcointalk.

Example
https://cryptoscamalert.com/report/60
Dont see any problems with it yet this forum would be the best place on looking up for accusations that will surely have high chance for it to be concluded as a scam.
For those sites which are obvious scam/ponzi/hyip then its no brainer for them to be listed without having any reference.

IMO, an email address can also be considered as personal data...
We can always make some dummy emails if we do tend to engage into these kind of sites. So it isnt really that a big issue.

There's a lot of things lacking in your website, there should be anonymous report where people can submit a report anonymously and of course a discussion is very interesting it will add credibility of the report, looking forward to have this too install so you can help the community to fight scammers.
Thank you for your opinion!  All reports are  anonymous. No any personal data taken. We already have voting system and we are thinking about adding discussions.
Adding a discussion is very important because without it, it will be just your opinion, let other post their opinion could be the information is not complete and a guest want to add more information about the scam project, or the dev of that project want to defend the project, visitors will keep visiting the site to see additional comment and opinion.

All reports are  anonymous.
But there's a "Reported by:" category while viewing reports from the list.

No any personal data taken.

Am I correct to assume that having higher votes only bumps scam reports to the top of the list?
- Does it have any other purpose?

Suggestion:
  • Perhaps you might want to consider adding an iframe for "Scam Accusations" board on your website...
    - I do know that you're constantly monitoring everything but it would be nice to have a live feed of some sort.

Any reason why you bothered making this when there is already potentially the most comprehensive list already available at;

https://deadcoins.com/

Or are you mostly focusing on ponzis? Also, are you planning on allowing public submissions?

I also think you need to clarify your policies on declaring things a scam, as surely you need some evidence of wrongdoing right?

Cryptocurrencies are complicated, very confusing and complex to all new users and lightly regulated — all of which makes them an ideal target for scammers to pounce on. But with a little bit of know-how and some good old-fashioned common sense, theycan do plenty to protect themselves  against cryptocurrency scams.
Always double-check URLs to make sure they are visiting the genuine website.
They shouldn't  click on suspicious links that are emailed to them.
Never disclose your private key.
